That's strange that no one went home. Did they not even show who the bottom two were? And did they really say that about no one leaving because it was Disney night? 🙄

Yes, Tom said "No one goes home on Disney night!" -- I don't know if that's happened in past years, or if they just had to say something to end the show in a hurry, or what.

Well, I guess we have a definitive answer about Sean's voting block. On the nightly news tonight they reported that the President is tweeting that everyone should vote for Sean Spicer on Dancing with the stars. Yes folks, the President of the United States is trying to load the vote for Sean. Apparently he said that Sean is a really nice guy. I'm not denying that Sean's a nice guy. I don't know, but he does seem nice enough & sure seems to be trying & having fun, but really??????? I guess it pays to have friends in high places.

I think Len went sour when they teased him about the word “frippery”. I could swear he said something about an injury to his mouth and he thought they were implying he was drunk because he had trouble saying it. They also accused him of making it up. I understood what he said and what it meant. Len was also interrupted several times by Tom and at least twice by contestants and that frustrated him. He’s trying very hard to give constructive advice. Sorry folks... I’m with Len on this one. Someone needs to tell Tom to tone it down. I also could have done without Pluto trying to upstage the interview portion.

I have grown tired of some of the stars trying to make the judges critiques into a conversation instead of a time to listen. When Len is complimenting something, it's time to listen - not to comment that you've really been working on it, etc. The judges are told they have limited time - CA and Bruno often ignore that and Len is trying to be a good team player. The dancers have time to talk when they go see Erin ... they need to quit talking back to the judges.

I don't know what the reason was, but in the latter part of the show Len put on his constipated face and gave lower scores than the other two judges. As soon as you see him, you know it is going downhill.
edited to add
I do agree however, with Len that we do not need all the excess, especially supporting dancers. Two different acts used that old fashioned ( odd that two did it) technique of lining up the supporting dancers and have then move aside to show the "stars".
I really just want to see them dance without all the extra.
I also think that we will be seeing some amazing dancing as the weeks pass as people are showing real talent.

Leah was annoying him last week, I don't think everything needs to be a joke and funny, and I really don't need the contestants talking back.

Yes, I know it was at least done last season with exactly the same line - "No one goes home on Disney night!" But I believe that was also followed by a double elimination the following week.

I am laughing as I am pretty sure we will get to the semifinals right on time....no fear with that.

I am not watching this season because I am protesting the choice of "stars," specifically Spicer, Lewis, and the basketball player (name is escaping me and I don't care to look it up).
I do miss the show. It was something I shared with my grandmother and mom who have both passed away and it's been a link to them. I want to thank you all for posting comments and keeping me in the loop.
The thing that I hate about this show, is when Len gives a (usually) very thoughtful critique to a dancer, he gets booed by fans and he can't even finish his thoughts, which also usually provide some positive comments. The audience is so rude about it. No wonder he is occasionally cranky and taking it out on the wrong person. By the way--I love Tom Bergeron. Miss him horribly on America's Funniest Home Videos.

I am not seeing this listed for tonight. The World Series starts tomorrow in FOX---but there are just two regular shows listed in place of DWTS.
I don't recall that ever happening in the past.

I checked my cable guide for Monday (today) 10/21 and it is right where it should be. The statement says "Week 6" nine remaining couples compete.
