I don't know if I missed someone but came back inside in time to see Sean dance. I could barely focus on the dance because the (alleged) singer was slaughtering the song so badly.

The one good thing is that even though they gave Sean 7s, everyone else has been getting 8s and 9s tonight so maybe there's a slim chance his overinflated scores from last week won't keep him out of the bottom two.

SO not fair! Poor Sailor! As much fun as Sean is to watch and as hard as he tries, NOBODY should be going home in his place! Man, she is just devastated!

I'm sad for Sailor, but at least she went out on a really high note. The competition is really strong this year. Everyone has stepped up their game with only three points separating the top and (almost) bottom--I didn't count Sean's score, because he's pretty far behind the rest. I feel a little bad for Hannah getting such a low score relative to the others. That's one of the problems with being a front runner and having a less than stellar performance. The number of mistakes (or lack of technique) she showed weren't any worse than other previously less talented dancers, but the expectations are higher for her and the others showed so much improvement. She's going to have to step up her game.
I have to say that I'm so surprised that she hasn't managed to get the Latin hip action down by now. I'm not a Latin dancer, but is it really that hard to do? I'd love to hear from someone who knows.

Ally safe, Sailor eliminated. This show is still broken. Doesn't help that their "fix" eliminated half the country of voters. It continues to be vote for your favorite who cares how they did. Wow, I don't think I have seen anyone cry like that at being eliminated. Poor Sailor.

Yeah. Not letting the Western half of the country vote was a stupid call.

Poor Sailor. I probably would have thrown a vote her way if voting were open online all evening like it used to be.
I love that Sean is really trying and he's getting better. Obviously it's not his forte. He'll never be good. It's his time to go, for sure, but I like that he's giving it his best. I have always liked to see the ones who can't dance learn to dance a little and be able to enjoy it. (Jerry Springer comes to mind.)
James is probably my favorite this season, but there are several good dancers.

It is going to be hard to see many of these people go as they are dancing very well. I was more shocked at Ally than Sailor as I thought she was in first place.
At least now they can't play the game of putting the least vote getter in with a couple that was not next to last. We know now who exactly were the bottom two.

Ally safe, Sailor eliminated. This show is still broken. I couldn’t watch, because I realized last week that from here on, everyone will be evicted until final 3 leaves Sean in semifinals. Judges will probably vote him out first chance he makes the elimination list. But, his fans will keep him in there for along time. As long as we are voting each week from the beginning, this is a popularity contest, slanted through social media. I think Critical mentioned a more fair approach would be if we only voted toward the end. That would be better than what we have now.

I think Critical mentioned a more fair approach would be if we only voted toward the end. That would be better than what we have now. Me either. I deleted the episode from my DVR. I won't watch another episode until Spicer is gone. The whole situation with him makes me sick, especially the various politicians urging people to vote for him as Christians. Disgusting. That's all I'll say, since we don't do politics here any more
I don't think it was me who said that, BTW. I think they should count ALL votes. If they want to do live votes, they could still allow everyone to vote and then use those votes to eliminate the next week. Combine the previous week's votes from the western US with the live votes from the current week. I guess I'm used to not having my vote count as a West coaster OR not being able to call in or interact with a show as it airs.
I understand that they wanted to change things up, but by casting who they cast, they created the same d@mned problem
Sailor was good, but she was never going to win. If they end up with two real contenders in the bottom two and Spicer is safe again, that's when they'll have a real problem on their hands. I think viewers are only going to put up with so much.
Oh, and I read that Ray Lewis' departure had more to do with his behavior and Cheryl refusing to work with him any more. IMO, that rings true to me more than some injury. Shame on the casting director this season. They should care more about those pros than they do, especially the women. I really felt for both Cheryl and Peta (Lamar was rumored to still be using drugs) this time. It's one thing if the guy just can't dance, but this is about their physical safety.

While three of the male "stars" were a problem for some viewers at the start of the show, apparently the two athletes continued to be a problem on the show. Say what you will politically, but SS has been nothing but kind and a gentleman during the season.
Right now, the remaining stars are all potential contenders as they all have really picked it up. If SS is safe and two excellent dancers are in danger, I don't think the viewers are going to rise up because lots of people are voting for him.
