Applebee's? They must be pretty damned hungry to cheer Applebee's like that. (My local one sucks!)

Yeah mine is nothing great either. But at least it's not sandy rice (usually).

Not looking good for Karishma...

I'm no great fan of Karishma, but she's getting blamed for that whole reward challenge fail? They were already behind - not sure whose fault that was. She did not help matters, but she's not the only one. Holy cow, with Noura pulling her along - wow! It looked like that might have affected Karishma's angle or ability to move or something, but I'm not sure.
I didn't really like Dean much before, but once he started making fun of Tommy (long, pale, redhead goofy looking guy), I'm okay if he leaves. So what if he got embarrassed because he was a D1 college hoops player! That doesn't mean you can't be beat.

So, Tom went home. Frankly, that vote made no sense to me. Karishma is a total disaster at challenges. She may not have been the sole cause of their loss, but she has never been a strong contributor in any challenge. Dean has become very annoying. And, Noura really gets on my nerves.
I guess if I have not had a meal in 2 weeks an Applebee's meal might appeal but otherwise, no. Our local Applebee's closed a few years ago. No one misses it.

Noura got lucky, she could of gone if they didn't have the numbers. I think Karishma was the cause of them losing, sorry, she's dead weight. In the sand, Noura dragged her along, and in the water she had to be hauled up. I can't put my finger on it, I find her a tad manipulative. Yes, Dean is somewhat annoying, but did he pull his weight? Yes he did.. I like Jason, last week, and this, he's very calm under pressure.

Karishma Who? What is your superpower? Talking negative about your self all the time? The ability to totally turn around every event so that you are the victim? The ability to totally escape an elimination vote at Tribal Council? Is KW the most passive aggressive person I have ever seen? Is she the most deceiving and crafty? She just trashed her parents, and her marriage in front of millions of people. That is seriously a major way to crash and burn your life. This was either really smart, really dumb, or really desperate. Wonder if she will be divorced from her husband/roommate by the reunion? Wonder if her parents will ever speak to her again? Not that it seemed when they spoke to her it was anything kind.

As a viewer I'm glad Tom is gone, nothing against him personally he was a nice guy but he's just not someone that I'm gonna miss. A lot of viewers felt like it was a bad move to vote out Tom here, but in all honestly looking at that new Vokai tribe, I feel like they are going to win the rest of these tribal immunity challenges whether they kept Tom or not. But should New Vokai go to tribal council, this is where things will get really interesting, because someone will have to flip and by the looks of it, it looks like Aaron/Missy will be the ones to do that, meaning Elaine and Elizabeth could be in danger.
New Lairo have the majority of Vokai members here so if they want they could really get rid of Tom Dean and Karishma in any order that they want and still all make the merge. Only time will tell to see if this really happens. You never know with Noura, i think if she were able to vote at tribal this episode she may have pushed for something different but next episode she seems to want to turn on original Vokai. As entertaining as she is shes so bad at the game I could see her getting the boot soon for over playing :/ I hope I'm wrong though.
I totally forgot about the Island of the Idols until Jeff mentioned it after the challenge, they really don't need this twist at all, it was nice to watch an episode without anyone going to Island of the Idols.

Yeah I agree. I always try and sympathize with people who come from other cultures. Growing up I've had it so much easier than she has. I'm not totally familiar with the Indian culture but I'm thankful that I wasn't forced into an arranged marriage. Its not fun as a viewer watching Karishma complain so much but outside of the game I do feel bad for her and hope she can find happiness.

I made a chart based on info I found on the Survivor Wikipedia page for the new tribe members. If you click on it, it should be readable.

Exactly, no it's not fun, it's likely less fun for her, perhaps she's able to speak freely, for the first time in her life. It's not great television, not imho, but I'm often surprised by what happens in their lives, once they leave this game.

I'm thinking production asked Karishma for permission to show that discussion.

She has been to college, law school and is a practicing personal injury lawyer she has been speaking freely for a long time but no one in her family has been listening. I think they will be listening now.

I had my heart set on Karishma finally going home and was disappointed once again. I guess they would rather keep going to tribal council and weeding out threats than take out the person who's causing them to go to tribal council. You have to feel really secure in your alliance to do that since anyone can be blindsided.

And Karishma stays. She brings NOTHING to the table in challenges. IDK if she's good around camp or not. I haven't heard anyone complain about that, so for now, I'll assume she's helpful at camp.
I can't believe how many times she's dodged the bullet. I'm starting to wonder if they're keeping her around because anyone could beat her in a F2 or F3 (not sure which they're doing this season). But the dummies need to realize they're going to keep going to TC as long as she's around. Duh.

I was hoping Karishma would finally go. I’m tired of her whining and complaining. Add to that Jeff pointing out several times how she was so slow/last during the challenge.
I wonder if her tribe is looking a bit too far ahead to the merge, with the majority of her tribe wanting her to vote with them once the merge happens.

The conversation usually goes she can't do puzzles, she can't do challenges, and she doesn't do anything in camp.

I can't feel sorry for Karishma. If her head was in the game and she were making a concerted effort to work with her team, I could cut her a little slack and hope her slump is temporary. After all, everyone has their strengths and weaknesses when it comes to a game like Survivor.
If I were on this show, I would be lousy at all the swimming challenges, and even worse if I was expected to eat something nasty like a slug.
Still, it's more than just Karishma's lack of physical strength to pull herself across the sand, or hoist herself out of the water and onto that platform. It's more than just Karishma's inability to make any headway on the puzzle that kicked her butt last week.
It's her attitude. It's her apathy. It's her whining and, "Poor 'lil me" mentality. It's her overall negativity. I wasn't a huge fan of Tom's, but the tribe should have kept him over Karishma. She's a liability to their team.

I agree, Joseph. Karishma admits that she doesn't have any strengths on Survivor, yet when her name comes up to be voted out, she complains that she's being unfairly picked on and bullied. It's like she feels entitled when she has no reason to feel entitled.
