We don't have Disney+ but borrowed a Roku from the library that does just to watch WandaVision. I went in not knowing what to expect as I didn't read up on it to not spoil it. And yes, when you get to that fourth episode it starts to make more sense. Once the rest of the season finishes, I will borrow the Roku and see the rest.

So, does that mean you don't have to pay to watch Disney+? All Roku's have access to streaming channels, but you have to pay to watch the premium streamers. So, does this mean the library foots the bill?

I made the decision to start at the beginning again & on Tuesday I watched Captain America The 1st Avenger again. I would love to hear what others thought if you watched this movie. We get introduced to a lot of plot lines that will carry forward, but due to this one beginning during WW2 we also get introduced to some characters that won't. Iron Man's dad for example, unless you watch the Agent Carter TV series, he shows up there.

From our catalog: Watch popular movies from our curated movie collection through the Vudu app. Our Rokus are also equipped with subscriptions to Netflix, HBO Now and Disney+. Not sure how the billing works but yes the library pays for it. Technically, the taxpayer pays for it!

WandaVision seems to fall between Infinity War and End Game. From what I have read, WandaVision takes place 3 weeks after End Game.
Screenrant says Fury and SWORD are involved - a link to the new Marvelverse...
WandaVision' is mixing up the official timeline just a bit. wandavision-mcu-timeline
[Editor's note: The following contains spoilers for WandaVision Episode 4, "We Interrupt This Program."]
It's totally understandable to be a bit confused as to when WandaVision takes place, seeing as how the first four episodes technically jumped from the 50s, to the 60s, to the 70s, and then through reality itself into a modern setting. However, thanks to the latest episode, "We Interrupt This Program," we now know exactly when WandaVision is happening, and it's actually before the most recent MCU film.
"We Interrupt This Program" opens with Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Harris) experiencing "The Blip," the in-universe term for when the half of humanity snapped away by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War suddenly returned five years later, thanks to the end of Avengers: Endgame. That's the year 2023. Monica returns to her job at S.W.O.R.D. three weeks later, officially placing the start of WandaVision around 21 days after Endgame. Which is interesting, because the last theatrically released MCU film, Spider-Man: Far From Home, takes place about eight months after the end of Endgame, meaning WandaVision happens before Tom Holland's Peter Parker jets off to Europe and battles an insane illusionist played by Jake Gyllenhaal. Never a dull moment in that there MCU.
WandaVision is the first TV series produced by Marvel Studios to debut on Disney+, and so far it's been one half deeply-committed sitcom homage, one half vaguely frightening puzzle-box mystery. Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany star as Wanda Maximoff and Vision, two Avengers who are now living—trapped?—in a constantly-changing world based off sitcoms of decades past. Everything is pretty obviously not what it seems, starting with the fact that the last time we saw Vision, he was extremely not alive.
For more on the show, here is our comprehensive guide to all the Easter eggs you might have missed. There is...a lot. WandaVision debuts new episodes on Disney+ every Friday.

Thanks for all that info. It seems to be someone's full time job to keep this stuff straight. It will be interesting to see where the upcoming shows fit in.
I had to edit this to say I just read all that Easter eggs information. It is pretty incredible how much attention to history & detail the writers & producers are taking in this show. Thanks for that link. I have it bookmarked. And just to add, it is also kind of spooky that there are people out there that know this stuff and relate it in such a matter of fact kind of way.
Episode 5....today!

So just a couple of things. As I mentioned a few days ago, I decided to watch the movies in chronological order beginning with Captain America The 1st Avenger. And since Arielflies posted the link about Easter Eggs in WandaVision, I thought what about Easter Eggs for the movie. Check this out. It is a historical wandering through the comic book history of almost all of the characters & events that happened in the 1st movie. I enjoyed it. How far down the rabbit hole do you want to go?LOL! www.denofgeek.com/movies/captain-america-the-first-avenger-marvel-easter-eggs-comic-references/

I've always relied on the end credits for those "eggs". After I saw the first one I couldn't wait to see what what others would hold.

WandaVision: Okay...so when did Darcy (Jane's frippery assistant) become an astrophysicist? I mean it's great to see her in another Marvel situation as herself, and she did have the best line: So, Wanda re-cast her brother!
With Darcy there, I keep looking for Thor to drop in. That would be fun.
I love the way, now that they've finally given Wanda her due as the creator, that things are going to get really wonky as she veers from happy home to puppet master.
I also love that Captain Marvel is included in the story with her honorary niece as a major player. And, for once, the FBI grunt is NOT clueless!!!

It wasn't just for one comment; she has been saying terrible, terrible things on her twitter since last summer with the protests and mask-wearing. Without getting into it she's pretty much...anti-everything progressive and considering how Pedro Pascal's sister recently came out as Trans it was causing some issues. Word around the campfire said Disney has been wanting to fire her for months now because she's become a liability and her latest barrage of bull**** was the last straw. I was a fan of hers since the movie Haywire and was thrilled to have her on The Mandalorian before I found out what a horrible garbage person she is. Social Media really brings out the trash heap in people if they're inclined to be that way; on the other hand Pedro's SM is a joy to read; he's especially close to Oscar Issac and his wife and is often a guest in their beautiful home.

Wow Kao I never knew of her until Mandalorian. SINCE LAST SUMMER. #smh Why did it take THIS long for Disney to fire her? To be on a TOP HIGH RATED series working for DISNEY and think it's ok to SPEW CRAP w/o CONSEQUENCES??? What is WRONG WITH HER??? Good luck trying to find employment like you had, idiot.

This is the part where certain people start crowing about the First Amendment with respect to Gia's firing. Free speech isn't free. She isn't being prosecuted. Freedom of speech doesn't mean "freedom from consequences." She's just gotten her consequences. Makes her relationship with creepy, pervy Henry Cavill a little more understandable.

He's long had a rep for liking barely legal (in public) and maybe not-so legal girls (in private). Remember that one he dated who was a 19-year old college student? He apparently likes them much younger than that. There have been rumors about him and the young girl in The Witcher (there's video of them at press junkets where there are a lot of little looks between them) and also Millie Bobby Brown (who's been rumored for several years to be involved with MUCH older men).

I have to say, in my opinion WandaVision has been some of the most creative TV I have seen a quite sometime. I have not seen anything about a 2nd season, or if the scripts that end this season will make that moot, but I surely have enjoyed what I have seen so far.
