James tossed me into the ugly cry.
And how cute was his daughters dress with the peacock feathers...

That was a really heartbreaking elimination tonight. I would never have expected James to be in the bottom two. He's such a talented dancer.
This really is a pretty evenly matched group of finalists. I could be happy with any of them winning. It will be interesting to see who does. If the winner is chosen by popular vote, I kind of think Lauren's going to take it. The country music voting block is huge!
Does anyone know how the finals work? Do they usually have four teams at the finals? Three makes more sense. I'm trying to figure out how they'll get it down to a final two, or do they?

I think that Ally brings more fans to the show than James, and that was the advantage in her body of work.

I think he was killing it in votes he was never in the bottom two. His wife didn't just miscarry, there were complications. He needed to be there with her, they needed an elimination, a shock elimination,. I watched the judges again, they knew Ally wasnt better than James, and they've been scoring her very very high. She's been in the bottom twice, that's not someone getting a lot of votes imho.

It seemed like the playing field wasn't very level for the "emotional" factor last night. Of course those with the contemporary dance always get to talk about what they were dedicating their dance to. Kel did well with his gun violence story and no surprise with what's her name and her "rose story".
Of course James's real life issue was the biggest draw so did they offer Lauren and Ally a chance to talk about something too? I remember LA talking about her family being poor so she was dedicating her dance to them, but it really seemed like it was a quick add on. For the life of me, however, I do not remember if Ally got a chance to talk about something emotional?

Ally's was basically talking about how she'd been made fun of for being a bad dancer in the past, so it meant so much to her to have done well dancing on this and be seen as something other than a bad dancer. It may have been harder to pick up on it because it's so common for her to get dramatic talking about herself that when the show asks her for a dramatic story about herself, it's just another day. Sorry ... I just don't like her!

Although he was injured in the 11/11 show, Jive performance..... the combination of healing physically and also emotionally means they did the right thing giving him a chance to leave as shocking as it was. I had expected Hannah to leave, I guess her fans are really supportive. Did anyone catch what Ally said to Tom right after they announced she was safe? I can’t remember exactly, but I thought she offered to leave so that James could stay, and Tom said “no, that was sweet of you but no” (Something like that). I’m glad she is staying even though she won’t win because of lack of fan support. Hoping Kel wins!

She was very emotionally about it,straight from her heart, the girl was sobbing. No, she wont win, but she's taken her lumps, and never complained. I like Sasha, and I like his being the pro to be with Ally. I've seen other interviews with them, Sharna asking questions and it's good chemistry between them. ( Ally/ Sasha ) Hannah has bachelor nation behind her, shes a good dancer, some good, some bad, I just don't like her attitude.

Apparently, there's been a lot of backlash about the judges choosing Ally over James. (See article below.) I think that's totally unfair. Yes, he's generally a better dancer. He grew up with a mother who owned a dance studio, and he he had dance experience as a kid. Considering where they both started out and the fact that she has improved to the point of pretty much catching up with him, she absolutely deserves to be in the finals. She clearly doesn't have the popular votes to win (depending on how the popular vote figures in), but she does deserve to be there. I'm not saying that James doesn't. They both do. But I can understand the judges' decision, and I don't think it was wrong. It could have gone either way. www.washingtonpost.com/arts-entertainment/2019/11/19/why-an-emotional-dancing-with-stars-episode-ended-tears-angry-viewers/

Do I sense fans frustration, absolutely, I still think it was planned he' d leave, to be with his wife and family. She had a very complicated miscarriage, he looked tired and sad. If anyone thinks he could step up and dance a freestyle next week, they need to see the big picture. Whoever wins, is a hell of a lot better than last season. But I did expect a backlash, it looked like the judges just turned on James, and for what? One bad week.. They need to get this judging sorted out, back to the drawing board!!!

For that show, Ally was better. James looked at peace with the decision, so I am guessing that he wanted to go home and take care of the IMPORTANT stuff.
I am so tired of the fans and their screaming about what they want. If they loved him so much, he should have had enough votes to over ride his low scores----like Sean did for weeks.

I saw that she posted on Instagram that she almost died. Very scary!

I'm very disappointed that James was ejected. He was my favorite to win. At first I felt like quitting watching entirely, but now that a week has passed, I've changed my mind. I'll be watching. If it was his choice to leave, then they should have said so. Everyone would have understood. As it was, it just looked like they were kicking him when he was down. First the miscarriage, then kicked off DWTS. Kind of a double whammy. I didn't like that. I don't have a favorite any more. I'll have to give the others a more open mind now. Anyone but the pageant girl & her phony plastered on grin.

It might have been a good thing in terms of his being able to spend more time with his family, but they both seemed very disappointed, and I heard either James or Emma say that for him working on the dance stuff was therapeutic. I'm looking forward to watching the finale. I'm fine with anyone winning. They all have their strengths.

So I'm, meh, and don't care who wins.
