Oooo, Karishma gets sent out to find coconuts, since she does nothing around camp, and then she finds an idol! Ha! That will teach 'em to assign people jobs!

Elaine and Noura win immunity, as they spin the ball the longest. But Noura could have won PB&J for her team if she'd just kept going -- instead she hopped off thinking she was done. Her tribe has to go to tribal first and vote someone off, then the other team goes. Elaine's funny, saying it was a redneck game and she was thrilled she won something considering she's on a tribe w/so many athletes. So if Karishma plays her idol, I wonder who will go home from that team? On the other team, I bet it will be Janet, because they won't vote Dan off, right? Grr.

Aaron or Janet, Missy or Tommy --- no one's brought up Dan's name at all. He's happy Janet is "back" with him and implies he'll agree to work with her again. What a guy.

Aaron and Missy get sent to jury. One week after both had immunity necklaces around their necks!

Not one word from Missy or Elizabeth indicating they were sorry for what they did in last week's episode. Like I said a few days ago, they were only sorry when the backlash happened. So glad Missy is gone. Glad Aaron is gone. Next week, dump Elizabeth and then Dan. I'm so glad Janet is still around. And, Elaine is a hoot!

" You need to kill Elaine slowly and methodically"
Really Missy, that's how you leave the game. Frankly I'm glad to see the back of you, and Aaron!! Last week was uncomfortable to watch, tonight, not so much. Karma is a wonderful thing. I thought they were supposed to leave immediately, not find out who voted for you, then instruct your buddy on her game play. I'm glad Karisma found an idol, she knew Missy was only talking with her, for her vote Janet survives, and Elaine is a sweetheart.

Don't know why they want Karishma out with such aggression, I've got a better chance of being struck by lightning right now than Karishma does of getting a vote at FTC.

Can we know for sure that the medics did not check out Karishma? Her cameraman would know the truth about it, so maybe her insisting she didn't really need to see someone was enough?

It was so strange how NONE of the events of last week were brought up at all. Like it didn't even happen.
I'm SO glad that Tommy and Janet were safe. They're my 2 favorites, and I thought they were in trouble. Missy had a little bit of a nasty attitude from the beginning, so not sorry to see her go. Karishma is a little annoying and worthless at camp, but they would be stupid to vote her out. She should be everyones #1 to take to the final. For some reason, I can't warm up to Elaine. I think it's because of her constantly caller herself a redneck. I'm southern also, but I'm certainly not a redneck. Most of us consider that an insult, but she embraces it. So good for her...I just don't like it.

Missy was absolutely right about the two African Americans winning immunity, but after Cook Islands, Jeff is the last person who should be talkings about race.

What was the issue with Cook Islands?
Jeff was right that there probably wasn't any PC way he could bring up the subject.
Survivor strives for a diverse set of contestants. I think partially because there is likely to be more tension among them as a result of the unfamiliar backgrounds.

The one and only thing I was really hoping for out of last nights episode was for Janet to Survive the double boot. Her social game is what ultimately kept her in the game and I couldn't be more thrilled for her. I know it had to be hard for her to go up to Dan and agree to work with him going forward, but she did what she had to do. I just have so much love and respect for that woman.
I've never been a fan of this demerge twist because I feel like it defeats the whole purpose of the merge. Though i was fine with Aaron and Missy leaving, as they were both two obvious big threats to win I would have rather seen them get the boot with all of the numbers. Because what happens now is that you have people still left in the game who didn't have to vote out Missy or Aaron so ultimately Aaron and Missy have no reason to feel betrayed by them. And to me that's just not fair. But i would have been more upset if Janet went home over the twist so im glad that didnt happen.
As far as Karishma goes I never really viewed her as a goat personally I thought she was only seen to be a goat because she was bad at challenges, but in all honestly she's playing a similar game to Sandra. Sandra was never good at challenges, she just had this as long as its not me type attitude and Karishma seems to have a similar attitude when it comes to the vote. I'm glad she found an idol I just hope that she plays it correctly because the facial expressions of the jury are going to be priceless if and when that happens.
I assume they are out of ideas for Island of the Idols at this point because I always forget about Rob and Sandra until tribal. It is very frustrating that Dan is still there and I havent forgotten what happened last week but it was nice to watch last night at what felt like a normal Survivor episode.

I was annoyed with Missy and her telling Tommy she wasn't after him. Yes you were, you were the first to bring up his name. He wouldn't have gone after her if she had not gone after him first.
Good riddance, I say. After her and Elizabeth's behavior last week I am not sad to see her go. I'll have to watch Ponderosa to see if she says anything to Kellee.

I have to disagree about Karishma being like Sandra. They are nothing alike. Sandra had a good social game & contributed around camp, whereas Karishma isolates herself from everyone, is lazy, & cries “woe is me” about everything. Such a complainer. Now that she found an idol, she’s suddenly mighty full of herself. She is the last person I would want to find an idol. Can’t stand her or her attitude. Everyone probably wants to drag her to the end because she wouldn’t get any votes, but I don’t want her to get $50k for coming in second (or is it F3 this year? It seems to change without a pattern). What does 3rd place get? Regardless, I want people in the F2/F3 who really played the game. Karishma has done diddly squat.

She's easy to win against because she's lazy and standoffish. Still, it's frustrating to know she's still there. It annoys me when someone useless gets awarded one of the coveted spots on Survivor, and all they do is eat, sleep and stare off in a distance watching ripples of water dance across the sand. Karishma's wasting a perfectly good spot that could have gone to someone useful.

Well, Missy does comes across as if her opinion is the only way, the right way and if you don't follow her you are stupid. She comes across very aggressive and dismissive especially when dealing with Karishma.
I am happy both Aaron and Missy are gone, but kinda wish Tommy went to. Dean comes across as a weasel with his commentary, no loyalty and reversing himself on his voting. mmmm....only three guys left, Dean, Dan, and Tommy. Are they physical threats?
Luv how many people want Karishma to go with them to the final tribal council as they all think that will garantee them the win. It does guarantee Kgirl second place.
I did want Kgirl to shove those coconuts she found down Noura's throat. Noura is annoying.

I think in real life Karishma is a bit of a princess and emotionally fragile.

The contestants are at the mercy of however production wants to spin the story. The only self-protection is not giving them negative footage to work with. I think the main truth production is telling us about Karishma is that she won't win Survivor. There always seems to be a Winner's Edit, and she's not getting it! She must have some level of brains and hard work behind her because she passed the bar. Beyond that, I'm not impressed with what I'm seeing. She won't win, but perhaps there is more storyline relating to her on the theme of social justice?

I don't like how so many episodes of Survivor this season have turned into afterschool specials. We've had lessons on bullying, racism, arranged marriages, inappropriate touching. Can we just get back to playing Survivor without making every tribal council a teachable moment??
