"Bring on the Bacon" One castaway must prove how well they know their castmates when presented with a game-changing opportunity while visiting Island of the Idols.

Karishma is just dumb. To go right from a vote discussion over to the person who's getting voted off (supposedly), looks very shady. And Dan, Lauren noticed.
At least she didn't leave her idol in her bag, because Lauren and Elizabeth took it and searched it. Now if she'll play it and not get voted out with it.....

Dean's going to play his fake replication of a fake legacy tonight. That will be funny.
Karishma, the lawyer, of course speaks well and defends herself pretty well at tribal.
GET DAN OUT! Come on.

Ha! That was good. Karishma played her idol, and everyone's mouths just hung open. She got almost all the votes too! Wow.
Lauren played hers and didn't even need to.
Janet or Elizabeth??? I say vote Elizabeth out.

Nothing more said about Dan's touching issues, and he admitted he was feeling pretty secure in the game. That's very disappointing to me that he gets to keep on playing w/o repercussions. At least Janet's still in the game, and now his two "supporters" in Missy and Elizabeth are out, so that's something.
Lauren really did have a good take on her tribemates, as she displayed at the Island of the Idols with Rob's proposition. Rob caves pretty easily though, sweetening the deal on the slightest hesitation or pause. LOL! I was amazed at how many people actually sat out of that challenge -- is that a record that only three played? I wonder. Lauren knew exactly how those three would play the game, and I was impressed she was right. It sounded like Rob and Sandra might have been too!

Lauren played that extremely well...except for wasting her idol! I was very impressed with the tactics she used in getting most of the tribe to sit out the challenge. I'm starting to dislike Kairshma less than before. Maybe it's just my affinity for under-dogs .

While she is definitely annoying after awhile, I always root for the underdog, so I am rooting for Karishima to a degree. Her playing the idol was an AWESOME moment -- even rewound to watch everybody's mouth fall to the ground again! It was just too, too funny.
I also like Janet and Elaine. Who voted for Janet? Elizabeth I guess. I was really surprised Karishima did not vote for Dan after that little to-do.
Surprisingly, I'm not really impressed with any of the guys this season, and Lauren is just too full of herself. I can't believe she played her idol. I'm not sure why she thought Elizabeth or Karishima would vote for her.
But overall, great, great episode tonight.

I didn't necessarily want Karishma to stay, but I do love a good use of an immunity idol! Plus, after her shenanigans, I'm glad that Elizabeth was voted out, so I really don't mind Karishma staying over her.
I also love that their search of her bag (which I always hate) was not fruitful and caused them to be overconfident. So, who were the two wonky votes? Karishma and Elizabeth? Did Elizabeth vote for Janet with Karishma voting for Elizabeth? I wish they had showed those votes too.
eta: why is Janet still on the receiving end of votes instead of Dan. That's crazy to me. Hoping he goes next.

Elaine saying Karishma has nine lives is so spot on. Ugh. I really hope she gets voted out next TC.

I actually thought at first Lauren was going to play the idol for Dan, after Karishima played hers, since she knew Karishima had said Dan's name while talking to Elizabeth.
For someone who has such a good read on things and people, I don't know how she misjudged it so badly to waste her idol. Oh well. Par the course for Survivor I guess.

^good point, savyreds - Lauren really didn't have a good read on that tribal did she? Noura's always being called crazy, loony, etc., by other players, but she's still hanging in there and winning challenges too! She's not been considered for eviction in awhile, has she? Yeah she might be considered a goat, but she's the kind that can win if they don't watch out.

That was a fun TC. The jaws that fell, when Karishma played her idol.I was grinning as much as Rob, when she played it, perfectly. What does Dean keep calling them? The Goat Alliance? He seemed extra smarmy tonight. I was all prepared to like Noura, but then she went rifling through Karishma's bag. I have never liked that...never will. I never really liked Elizabeth, so bye bye.Say hi to Missy.. Lauren played her idol for nothing. She was having such a good episode up until then! Loved ones next week..

Glad Janet was not voted out.
It looked as if Karishma was deliberately pissing people off. At least she used her idol well.
Dean is smarmy. I think with the potential of becoming a real weasel.

Karishma sure is getting lots of screen time. Gives me a bad feeling that she may make it to the end. Ugh.

Tired of Karishma's whining. You wanted to go to the island? Speak up. Also, you are not the only one who has not been there. That being said, I love how she played her idol. I do not like her but there are others I dislike even more, I'm looking at you, Dan.
Speaking of Dan, how can he keep staying when he keeps trying to run things and intimidate people who are thinking otherwise. Vote his creepy ass out.

The funniest thing about this episode to me was the fact that Dean says hes tired of the goat army that has formed when he has failed to realize he's one of the biggest goats himself lol. He has been on the wrong side of the vote so many times, and actually believed the advantage Jamal gave him was real. So entertainingly humiliating. Ugh and I just love Noura, she says I'm playing for you all (doing what she was supposed to do in the last episode) Hilarious! She's become our new challenge beast here I do think getting Karishma out was smart here though in fact i really think they should have gotten her out a long time ago like when Chelsea left. So many players have said they can get her out anytime and look what happens she plays the idol cancelling 7 votes against her and is now in the Final 8. Gotta get players like her out early because they always always always go far. Their facial expressions were soooo SHOOK when she played the idol. Lauren would be the MVP of this episode for me overall though. She has yet to receive any votes against her and has positioned herself very well. I dont know if shes our winner but I'll be shocked if shes not in the finale. She really sold the tribe well about her visit to the Island of the Idols. As far as Lauren playing her idol at tribal council, Look Chelsea and Vince both left with an idol, and Kellee left with two idols, so I would much rather waste an idol than leave with one in my possession. Her idol was only good until Final 7 anyway, so better safe than sorry.

I’m so tired of her whining and complaining....like many have already mentioned. And so tired of her, “How dare he....” and “How dare she....”
Just suck it up, stop complaining and play the game.

Thirty-nine days of deprivation is enough to make anyone emotional and so I wouldn't fault Karishma for a 'moment' here and there. Heck, they're ALL going to be emotional next week when their families come to visit. However, Karishma is beyond emotional; she's a train wreck. She whines beyond the normal threshold of expectation. Is there any wonder her name keeps getting tossed around pre-tribal?
You're only a target if you're really good at this game and viewed as a threat, or if your ugly personality and unwillingness to help around camp has put you on everyone else's radar.
If Karishma would at least TRY to contribute, and maybe crack a smile once in awhile, and at least PRETEND to be part of the team, no one would be targeting her. Her lack of physical expertise doesn't make them want to vote her off. Heck, that's viewed as a blessing to the rest of the tribe. It makes her the perfect person to drag to the end.
Karishma chose to compete in the endurance challenge because she knows none of the others like her. She lasted all of two minutes. I'm not impressed.

Was it two minutes? I’ll have to watch it again. I thought she lasted an entire 45 seconds

I'm not a fan of Karishma at all, but that tribal council was amazing. Good for her on playing the idol correctly.
She's better than Kellee who left with idols in her pocket.

Lauren played her idol for nothing. She was having such a good episode up until then! Loved ones next week.. I think she momentarily panicked. Since she pulled out an idol, which made her stand out, I would be surprised if no one talks about her being somewhat sneaky and talk of her being the next one out. I could see Karishma making it to final 3 and winning the whole thing. After all, she's been on everyone's #1 pick to vote out, yet she still stands. Despite not really being solidly aligned with anyone and make it so far, that's a bit on the remarkable side. She's gawdawful in group challenges by holding up the group and just plain useless as a dead tree stump in individual challenges, but she's still here. I find her intolerable to watch, but it IS pretty impressive on a Survivor resume. I can actually see this whining tree stump winning... unfortunately...

Although she has avoided elimination up until now, the only "play" she has made was to play her idol. The only reason she is still in the game is that the tribe felt getting others out was more important. Except for correctly playing her idol, she has just coasted along and contributed nothing. I don't dislike her as much as some of you but I do think she's terrible at the game of Survivor.

I think Lauren played the idol on the chance that Karishma put her name down. Karishma is going to cringe when she sees how she presents on TV... she gets arrogant and vindictive based on imagined wrongs done to her or created by her own folly. As for Dan... do people think he was sexually inappropriate or socially inappropriate? I know a few people who are actually lovely caring people but are touchy/feely/buggy... who invade personal space...they don't read social cues well and need a lot of (gentle) reminders to back off. I saw Dan as being the same.

The others seemed fine with it so, I my opinion, with them, it was not inappropriate. Had it not been for the mess created by the lies of Missy and Elizabeth no one would have thought much about his actions. I'm glad that the one woman who was bothered actually came out and told him so. Like Kelee, I too. do not like being touch by anyone who is not family or a very close friend.
