Road to the Finals / And the Winner Takes It All - It's a 2-hour finale tonight, but the first hour looks like a clip show/recap of performances. In the final hour, the three finalists compete for the Golden Trophy, and finally, all three contestants will be unmasked.

I was so sure that Fox was Jamie Foxx. And I was so wrong.  Even when Wayne Brady was singing at the end, I still heard Jamie! Ugh. At least I got Chris Daughtry right - he sounded great last night. I hope he gets a bump in music sales this week after being unmasked. I didn't know the Flamingo girl, but a couple of the judges did. Hard to believe she didn't think she has a nice singing voice, she's quite good. |

I'm so happy I knew who both finalists were and although I'm bummed that Chris didn't win, because he got cheated out of the win on American Idol, I'm so happy for Wayne! He really was a stellar performer on Whose Line is It Anyway and I've thought for a long time he's incredibly underrated. I'd love to see him come out with an album. It would be cool to have him and Chris do a song together!
When they played the Rottweiler's first song again, I thought he didn't sound like Chris and wondered if perhaps he purposefully changed his voice so as not to give himself away too soon.
With the Fox, I've gone back and forth about whether it was Wayne or not. Sometimes I thought it was him, others times it didn't sound like him. On the last few performances, though, it was clear who both of them were. They were really putting it all out there vocally!
I didn't know the Flamingo chick so I never could have guessed her.
It's sad to have to wait until February for the next season. I love this show so much!!

My favorite part of the whole season was that Chris made it through to the end without his name coming up once. He should have won but I like Wayne Brady, too.
Never heard of the flamingo but my daughter had. She thought it was cool that there were two of the Cheetah Girls on this season.

I was sure that somebody mentioned Chris early on. It only came up once but I was already thinking him when they said it.

I do agree that both were worthy of winning. Somebody said that there was no mention of WB's TV show which seemed strange as it is pretty big. Even if they had his character enter a room with all kinds of costumes hanging from the ceiling and him saying that he is used to being around costumes, it would have been a little more fair in identifying him. Even CD alluded to AMERICAN IDOL a couple of times.
I have heard WB sing many, many times on LMAD and I am thinking that when they thought he was Jamie Foxx, he put a little bit of Jamie in his voice and he is so capable of changing his voice.

Great season! I was so happy for Wayne. It was sweet how emotional he was. We're getting a new season really soon! I liked the sneak peek, the mouse costume is really cute!
