Yeah but now choosing Tommy could be a mistake. Dean is really I lost my respect for being so arrogant and in your face to what he did to Janet. If I was going by the edit, my guess is that he doesn’t win the fire making challenge.

Noura really will not win due to the fact of her mouth there. Dean just got so cocky and arrogant!

No problem but really nobody will at all will vote for Noura. She has ruffled a lot of feathers. Go Tommy!

I was surprised that several jury members were excited that Dean won the fire making. Huh. I (too) thought Lauren had more friends on the jury. I felt bad for Lauren, because ditsy Noura's "You're my #1" explanation made no sense at all. Noura hardly makes any sense ever! So now Tommy gets more camera time, to show us all why he could/should win this thing -- oh, he has a personality?? hahaha!!

Tommy has a personality. But really you can tell despite Janet not liking to be betrayed by her closest ally. Surprised she did not go after Noura or Dean for their arrogance.

I'm happy for Tommy. Noura is BSC, and I never cared for Dean.

So happy for all the Sia gift winners, but especially Elaine, who was clearly not expecting a gift in that amount. I'm sure Janet wasn't either, but Jeff announced the size of the prize before her name, so the surprise wasn't quite so big. And how great was it that Elaine and Janet were sitting next to each other, and right after Janet gave Elaine a huge celebratory hug, Elaine has a reason to reciprocate.

Karishma stated that being the outsider taught her to appreciate what she has at home with her husband and friends. That happiness with them came into focus during her time on the island.

Kellie and Jeff talking. Really should had thrown out Dan in the first place when all that happened. Survivor producers really missed that big time. Really feel bad for Kellie.

Some of what Kelly said: "To not be supported and not be believed is the hardest thing to go through."(she directed this at Jeff and CBS when Jeff asked her if she had anything to say to him about his behavior toward the accusations (as he was aware of them along with TPTB). "I hope that this season isn't defined by unwelcome touching and sexual harassment; I hope it is defined by change." "I hope that CBS can do better. That we can do better."
Kellie did the right thing. The hard , unnerving thing. And it turned out like so many of these things turn out. With her being 'heroic' for coming forward, but the person who hurt her not being held responsible until later on. With her paying the price. To not be believed is why people are so afraid to come forward. And to be voted out immediately is the same as being ostracized by co-workers for rocking the boat.

Where is Jack at in the reunion show?! I read that he and Elizabeth have gotten close, so when she chose not to go (because of the Dan stuff), he stuck by her and also chose to forego the reunion. Jeff trying to say all the right things, making a good start. The thing that stuck out to me was when he said Missy and Elizabeth got negative social media backlash that "they didn't deserve." I thought they did indeed deserve to be called out for what they did, and they even apologized! I feel bad for Kellee. I wish she'd have gotten some money, somehow, too. I like Ethan, and can't wait to see him on the next season. I wonder if Tommy was considered for this all-winners season. Whoa, 2 million?!!! There's no way they're going to let Sandra and Rob stay in that game for any length of time. I can't wait for February! Rob's little girls are so pretty!

I wish they would have a season for all the people who were voted out first. It would serve two purposes; they'd all get a shot at winning and because they were voted out first it would be like having brand new contestants since we won't remember any of them lol

I know he does, I was just being facetious. Oops. I actually like Tommy, and as a teacher, I think he can sure use the million!! I'm glad he won: out of the three finalists, he was my choice. However, there were others I liked and wanted to win, but they unfortunately didn't make it to the end. This was sure a weird season. I liked it a lot sometimes, and really disliked it sometimes. Someone on Twitter posted a picture of Blake from Bachelor in Paradise, and said "now I know who Dean reminds me of!" That made me laugh, and it's not far off!

I thought they did indeed deserve to be called out for what they did, and they even apologized! They definitely deserved some negative backlash. What they did was horrible. The extent of the backlash may have been over the top, but to say it shouldn't have happened shows me that Jeff still doesn't get it.

Yes, Jeff stating Missy and Elizabeth were 'victims' and the company line he rattled off at the beginning was so unbelievable, especially in this day and age of #metoo. And Elizabeth and Missy are those fakers , rare as they are, who cause problems for real victims like Kelly. They deserved a pillaging.

Where is Jack at in the reunion show?! Jack is dating Elizabeth, she didn't want to be there, so he wasn't either Season 40 looks good! I had a lump in my throat listening to Kellee, they had better ask her to play again.

I liked Tommy at the beginning, but I ended up rooting for other people who weren't in contention for the win. I guess of the three there, he's my choice, but for me it's not a satisfying conclusion.
I'm glad they let Kellee speak, and just with Jeff, without the others there during that time. I felt bad she was so nervous. Even if it's too little, too late for Kellee, I'm glad they will change things in the future. Good for Jeff for offering an apology (even though I think the lawyers had a good look at his statement beforehand!)
Eta: I don't understand why they had to pre-tape the reunion. It seemed unnecessary.

I think it is absolutely ridiculous that the 2 people who had to make fire had never made fire after 39 days on the Island. Really??! Maybe when there are a lot of people left in the game I can understand not having done it, but when the game is winding down and you can see there is a definite possibility you may make the final four, why wouldn't you start practicing? Heck, for all the times out there some of them are bored just sitting around, I'd be making fire just for something to do. It reminds me of the people who go on the Amazing Race and have never driven a stick shift. Have you never seen the show, people?! Come on!!
I can't wait until Season 40! I won't have to spend the first 3 episodes trying to figure out whom everyone is and remember their names. I think it's going to be good!

No excuses in the future for not knowing how to make fire after the tutorial Sandra and Rob gave whoever that was.
Elizabeth skipped the reunion because she had been getting death threats. That's far more than she deserved. I do believe Elizabeth and Missy learned from this, but clear Dan never will, which to me was one of the major lessons here and why I'm glad he wasn't immediately tossed.
Sia has sort of replaced the Fan Favorite bonus, but glad we didn't have to waste time with her.
I'm wondering whether Jeff's chat with Kellee was the only piece that was prerecorded.
I wish the Ponderosa clips would give us a clue about the interactions the jury has before they show up at FTC. Sure seems like they had reached agreement how they were going to run the discussion.

I never thought I would be cheering so hard for Tommy to win, those editors really scared me into thinking Dean was actually gonna pull this off, and I would have lost my mind if that happened. This was a very predictable outcome, but i did enjoy the finale especially since Dan was not present. Tommy deserved his win, his social game was amazing and the fact that he was the only player not to go to Island of the Idols and win just goes to show how unnecessary that twist was. I cried when Sia awarded Jamal, Elaine and Janet with the money, I cried when Jamal said Jack and him live together, amazing how they have bonded. I cried when Janet was voted out because of the nullifer, shes but such an inspiration throughout.
I thought the show did a great job at the reunion by allowing Kellee to speak. Production realizes they messed up and could have handled the situation better, like Kellee said we cant change the past but we can learn and do better going forward, and hopefully production/CBS will do just that. 2019 has not exactly been my favorite year for Survivor but I am glad this season is finally over and beyond thrilled to watch 20 former winners compete in Winners at War, that is going to be insane! And it premieres Wednesday February 12th which will be here before we know it!

What a weird season. The Island of the Idols got better as the season went on - but I find it funny that the one guy who really got no advice/advantage from them, won the game.

I agree, it was a weird season. But I liked that weirdness, it made it unpredictable, that's for sure! I'm happy with Tommy winning, too.
