Sleigh the Runway - Tis the season for holiday parties and the designers will be challenged to show their sense of spirit in the perfect party dress. The designers have two days to transform a winter wonderland into a wearable wonder.
Enjoy the show!

I loved Sergio's outfit last night. His ego is still there, but that was a great outfit.

Yes. Brandon was spot on when he criticized Brittany for her "poor me" attitude. Sergio not only worked with wrapping paper, he chose to do so and knocked out a fabulous outfit. Sometimes you get handed a raw deal on this show. That's how it goes. You can either see it as a challenge or an obstacle. If you see it as the latter, you won't go far.
Speaking of Sergio, I agreed with Tyler's criticism. The judges really should have called Sergio out last week. Like Delvin, his dress was beautiful but it didn't fit the challenge.
Glad to see the designers helping each other. That's so much better then backstabbing and cattiness. Take note, Bravo! PR is the only show I watch on this network because I can't stand those other reality shows they advertise.

Babbred...Aren't the Real Housewives commercials annoying?? I too will not watch much else on Bravo than PR.

Some of the dresses I really loved were only safe. :/
Sergio did an awesome job on that dress. Paper is a notoriously hard material to work with, so props to him. The three in the bottom deserved to be there Brittany got on my s list for criticizing Victoria's English (when Victoria is tri-lingual, I'll bet good money Brittany only speaks one) so I wouldn't have cared if she went home.

I can't stand those ads. Right now they're running ads for some silly show about people on a yacht all yelling at each other. I turn down the volume when these ads appear.
Was it Tyler who had the really short dress? I didn't think it was as bad as the judges said. Yeah, it was too short, but is that a problem when other designers like to let it all hang out on top? I'm sure there is some party girl in NY or LA who would not mind a Christmas dress that short. I just say that because I thought the top half was lovely.
His design was atrocious, but I will kind of miss Allentude. Remember, always put in a little twirl!

I agree that Sergio's dress was beautiful, and he did amazing things with wrapping paper, but the wrapping paper wouldn't have hung at all well if it hadn't had the underlying frame to hold its shape.
He was brilliant enough to conceive of the idea of using the basket to creating the frame, so I'm not taking anything away from him. I'm more making the point that without a frame, the others who worked with wrapping paper had a harder time getting theirs to hang right, and it probably would have been harder for him, too. (But I suspect he would have found a way, because he had a more positive attitude overall.)

This is also why I can't wait for Top Chef to start in March. If you're a Real Housewife, you are automatically a walking punchline/meme. I preferred Victoria's dress (and Shavi's dress) over Sergio's -- the challenge was to make a party dress, not an art piece. They knocked Tyler for his odd silhouette last week, so why not Sergio's odd geometric silhouette this week? Just because it was cleaner, he gets a pass? He's designing to glorify himself, not the woman who will wear it. The judges were too hypnotized by his tailoring. To me the bells added nothing. I liked Dayoung's dress a lot, I wish it was in the top instead of just safe. But Shavi's was great too. I'm going to miss Alan -- he's the kind of reality TV character that's entertaining, because he's just being himself, and not some manufactured persona like Sergio. I'm not worried about Brittany bouncing back, but I worry if Tyler is going to find his groove. Every time Melanie is on the screen (which isn't often), I think, "who's that?" She's way in the background right now. I love Kiernan Shipka as a judge -- she's the precise target for the looks, and she's direct and sweet in her comments.

I loved Victoria's dress. It was stunning, and actually LOOKED like a real dress. Sergio's was nice, but didn't look like actual clothing. Shavi's was nice, but.... it did NOTHING for the model's figure.
I think it was fair that Alan was let go. He seems like a nice enough guy, but was so into behaving outrageously, that he never seemed serious about is work or design. What he made for that model was silly, and almost unwearable because it was so scant. I think he has some growing up to do.
I am already so tired of Sergio's ego. If he is so accomplished, why is he on this show? He has made some outlandish outfits for Billy Porter, but most reviews that I read were not exactly flattering. His ego won't even let him listen to anything Christian has to say. He will probably make it through, but by then his ego will really be tough to take.
Nancy is great; so is Marquise, Chelsey, Dayoung, Brittany, and Melanie. Geoffrey has talent, and loves to show off his body, but I am not sure why. Delvin has talent, but looks ridiculous in that white coat. Tyler has talent, but I hope he can get away from the costume-y look.
Looking forward to next week.

I agree about Victoria's dress. I, too, wish Dae Young's dress had been in the top. It was beautiful!

Both of the bottom two outfilts were terrible---among the worst ever seen on PR---so either could have gone---or both.
Glad that Alan is gone since they have spent an inordinate amount of time featuring him...and for what reason? There are a number of people who have not been given much face time and yet Alan is talking and talking constantly. Now maybe we will hear from others.
Surprised that there is so much name dropping with these designers. If so many of them have dressed famous people, it is surprsing that they need PR to get their names and designs out there.
My biggest laugh came when Sergio was talking about using the left-overs from the big name fashion houses ( again with the name dropping) so he would have no problem finding stuff at Goodwill. MMMMM let me see----bolts of cloth from Prada and fully made clothes to pull apart at Goodwill. Yea...that is right...it is just about the same.

In regards to Alan being, I think it was because he had such a big personality. "Put a little twirl in it." Those humongous boots...It's not enough in today's world to simply be talented, you have to have an outsized personality to stand out.

I couldn't believe how Tyler stuck by his look in spite of the extremely negative feedback he got. He was still saying how great it was on the After the Show interview with Christian. Talk about being in denial. And he was talking about how uncreative he thought the two top looks were. The guy has no taste or sense of what's actually interesting fashion-wise. And his bringing up the Kushners, whatever his intention was with that, was just
