A girl can't come up with a good enough story...didn't want them both to be disqualified because they knew each other...Girl please-haven't you watched before? Alaya's facial expression was hilarious when Peter brought that up...BUSTED! Her explanation was unconvincing, and now Peter is struggling with his final 2 roses.

This episode sort of sucked. Not just sort of...it totally sucked. I have a feeling this will be another boring season where they think the drama at the end makes up for everything, but it doesn't....for me at least.

I feel bad for some of those girls who got eliminated tonight, who never even got a word aired on TV, because of all this dumb drama. Sarah, I think, was the adorable little blonde -- not sure why he didn't choose her, and why we didn't get to see more of her. Sometimes I think the worst about this show, that the nice, normal ones don't play along with the producer's manipulations, so they're cut. There's no way they'd let Alayah back on the show, unless they thought it would be "good TV." They know there's drama in store. I'm already bored of next week's show!

To me, allowing Alayah to return makes Peter look even worse than he already does. He is the most indecisive lead I can remember. And it is only episode 3! Terrible. Fake. Manipulated. If he was hot, I might be able to overlook some of it, but he isn't and I can't.

I didn't realize the show was two hours tonight, so I quit watching after the first hour. Need to go catch up now on the Alayah drama.

Seems to me I read that Chris Harrison said that Peter was very indecisive and CH would have to tell him he had to make a decision. CH also said that Peter doesn't have a "type". I like Peter and think he is probably nice but seems pretty boring to me.

I'm only half watching this when it's on. I'll pay closer attention towards the end so I can get acquainted with the new B'ette.

This episode sort of sucked. Good to know, because I fell asleep halfway through. So boring!! I knew Peter was going to be a dud as the lead. Makes me sad that so many women are so desperate as to compete for him. Should have been Big Mike, more women of color, something different for a change. If they even mention champagne next week, I'm done.

This episode sort of sucked. Seriously. I muted it when one of the girls was whining about something and sat there reading and playing games on my phone. I totally forgot the show was on. When I looked up, it was after 9:00. I turned the sound back on for a few minutes and, yep, still whining. Muted it again.
We're still at the point where I can't tell many of the girls apart. Hopefully that will improve as he culls the herd.

Both Sharleen Joynt and Ashley Iaconetti are saying in their recaps that Peter was stupid to send Alayah home so soon based on the opinions of some of the other women. They both say (in different ways) that there's bound to be someone who really gets on your nerves and who you see as fake in that situation, but a week isn't really enough time to get to know everyone when there are still so many women in the house. So any opinion you have is going to be pretty surface and really is just an opinion.
Sharlene talked about going back to look at a journal she kept during the show and how there was someone who was a "little miss sunshine" type that Sharlene saw as super fake and annoying, but by the end of the show, she was one of Sharlene's favorite people. They both see why Sydney saw Alayah as fake, but they thought Peter should have taken more time to form his own opinion, and I agree.
Apparently, Chris Harrison has done some interviews talking about how indecisive Peter was and how he had to keep telling him. "You have to make a decision." Good times! This may be a really irritating season.

I've always thought he was boring. Mike Johnson must have seriously flunked his Paradise "audition" for The Bachelor, because there were a lot of people wanting him. I guess Peter was the only one left after Tyler went all A-list celeb on them during the pre-Bachelor period.

I don't have a problem with Peter at all. In fact, I find him quite endearing.
That being said, I can see why some may find his season less stirring than others. I put him in with Des and Ashley and maybe even Shawn. But what happened after all of those seasons? Weddings.
There hasn't been a lot of success as of late... Becca hasn't married. Colton hasn't married. Hannah B isn't even with anyone.
I think Peter was specifically chosen because they needed a sure bet. He's ready. And his family is ready for him. Des didn't even have that.
