Peter's afraid they'll all walk out. I'm thinking he'd be much better off if they did, or at least a select few. He can't handle this role, at all. That's exactly why they picked him. He is ridiculous.

I recorded it and am now at the cocktail party. The women are about to mutiny! 😳

Peter is a sucky communicator. It would have helped if he'd actually explained the Alayah situation to the women. He could have said something like, "I've discovered that I sent Alayah home based on some incorrect information that one of you gave me, so I've asked her to come back. I know this is unexpected and might be hard for you, but hope you'll all treat her with the same kindness you would hope to receive if this happened to you." But no. He just gives her a rose and says nothing. And Alayah's smirky villain behavior, certainly didn't help. (For the record, I actually believe her over Victoria P. When Victoria's story was challenged, she didn't really refute the fact that they'd known each other way more than "a total of three hours." She just cried and deflected and asked him to trust her. And from Courtney's response when Sydney said, "Victoria doesn't lie," it's clear that she does.

I know I haven't seen them all, I don't know names, but for the life it me, the next bacherlotte is supposed to be among this lot..

I watched last week's show & it was a total snooze fest. I believed Alayah last week & I believe her this week too. I don't care for her. She comes across looking very rehearsed & entitled, but I do believe her. The other girls (I won't call them women) behaved like spoiled jealous brats. The gang mentality kicked in & they decided she's their target now. Victoria P is a phoney baloney. I didn't trust her last week & I was proven right this week.
Victoria F is about as irritating a contestant as we've seen since Vienna. Maybe worse. I watched the show before I even came here & before I read the interview with Chase, so I had no influence in my feelings (other than Production's editing). First off, I couldn't stand her. Her "poor sweet innocent afraid" act was clearly a phoney act. When the whole Chase Rice bit came up, I saw right through that too. He was never her boyfriend! He was clearly a one night stand, and she was nothing more than a booty call babe. That was clear just from watching them. My guess is that he *bleeped* her brains out right before she left for the show. They didn't "break up", especially because their lives were going in different directions. He merely got dressed & went home. When Peter went up & talked to him, she probably thought "Oh sh**! He's telling Peter everything". Her little story afterwards was pure fiction. Even her voice grates on me. Peter's dumb as a mud fence for not seeing through her. Or Victoria P. He's not the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree. Is he?
The other women, especially the whining one who claims to have gotten a boo boo on her knee from the group date, should have been told to shut up & quit whining or go home, when they complained about Peter letting Alayah stay. Claiming that that was "their" rose. What a bunch of bunk! And I don't even like Alayah.
Peter is coming across as a spineless wimp, and not all that bright or mature. This is going to be a loooooonnnng season. I may not make it to the end, but I'm not giving up yet. He hasn't even thinned out the ones who I have no idea who they are. Like all the interchangeable blondes.

I'm with you, MissScarlet ! I don't like smirky, entitled Alayah; but I absolutely believe she's telling the truth. It was stupid of her to come back in and tell the Victoria/Chase gossip, but other than that, I think a lot of the drama about her has been stirred up by the other women not liking her. I'm surprised the producers even let her have access to her phone, since they likely intended to bring her back from the moment Peter doubted his decision. Hmmm. If they intended to bring her back, did they give her the phone knowing that information was out there and hoping she'd use it to stir the pot? Maybe the pot needs stirring from a production standpoint because Peter is so boring that they need all of this secondary drama in order to have a show. EDITED TO ADD: Am I the only one who thinks it's terrible that they had these women playing tackle football when they likely have had no training in tackling or being tackled? I'm surprised there weren't any concussions or broken bones! When I was in college, I played in some pretty aggressive powder puff football games where we were just grabbing each other's flags, and it got fairly brutal. There's no way I would have wanted to be in a tackle football game, but how do you say no to that (if you don't have a pre-existing back problem)? I don't blame the women for being pissed that they went through getting all of those bruises and muscle aches and didn't even get to talk with him afterward.

So are these earrings this season's salmon jacket? Sydney was wearing them last week. Let's see who they show up on next. LOL

Wow is Peter ever getting dumped on by the producers. Ouch. First they mess with him by bringing Hannah back in situations/at moments they know will tug at his feelings. And now his one-on-one date ends up being with someone who dated the singer who performs for them at Cedar Point? Smack down after smack down. What did they hope to gain? I don't dislike him or the pace of the show. I do, however, strongly dislike the way they are messing with him.
I respected Lexi when she told him she was not upset that he took time for himself to figure things out (by ending the date where Hannah showed up). She said it showed her that he was being genuine and real. I don't know how that's going to play out in the long run, though. If his time is consumed by unlocking puzzles and sorting through producers' shenanigans, then when will he have time to figure out who he loves?

I imagine he's beating himself up for not seeing through Jed and protecting Hannah B. Had he been on to him he could've saved her from heartache and embarrassment... and they might be together.
That's got to be weighing heavy on him.

Watching this on slight delay from Mountain Time (so behind most of the rest of you). I've gotta wonder who Peter pissed off that they included that stupid comment about Superman being born in Cleveland. There's so much wrong with that. LOL Aside from the fact that he's an alien, the fake town of Smallville isn't even in Ohio. It's in Kansas. What a doofus! Looks like I owe Peter an apology. Cleveland actually is "The Birthplace of Superman" in that the comic was written there. (See the linked story.) It appears that Peter just didn't read the Cleveland tourism promo script correctly and said Superman was born there (which I suppose is also technically true) making it sound like he's talking about the character instead of the comic. I haven't watched the Bachelor in years but have been watching this season and I'm sorry but Peter is like a deflating whoopee cushion. Why would any woman want to stay after seeing how he handles himself? Such a turn off.

A deflating whoopee cushion? I don't know what happened to Peter, he seemed way more confident in Hannah's season.

I'm wondering if the outcome of Hannah's season freaked him out and he's afraid of falling into the same traps she did. It probably didn't help him to talk to her and see how confused and devastated she still was about how things turned out for her.

Not sure what you mean. Are you wondering who got roses and who went home? Yep. Who got eliminated and who got a rose (of any kind) No Rose Ceremony. As far as who got the earlier roses, it doesn't really matter. They'll cover that when they finally show the Rose Ceremony. Plus, from previews, they don't all "stick" anyhow.

As for who got roses: Victoria F and Kelsey of Champagnegate each has 1:1 dates and got roses. During the group date, Alayah (who was eliminated last week) came back to explain to Peter that Victoria P had misrepresented their past relationship (which was way more extensive than "maybe a total of three hours;" they had actually planned and gone on a Las Vegas weekend together with a few other Miss USA contestants). Peter asked her to come back on the show, gave her the group date rose, and then left for the night. He didn't even spend time with a lot of the women, because he was busy talking to Alayah and Victoria. At the cocktail party before the rose ceremony, the women told Peter how irritated they were with him, and it's a To Be Continued, so we don't know the rest.

Not sure if it is voluntary or if he asks for it. The preview was just a voice over with subsequent sad women. Not even sure who it is. That's what I meant by it didn't stick.
