Good week (but think I'm short 2 pts on the week, unless I'm missing something).

Here we are in the last week before the merge. The Queen has abdicated the throne room, so finally we have a reason to break out the "Team Progress" table. This week we lost Yul, the last person to join Survivor before Season 20. Did you know that, on Cook Islands, some players went out exploring and accidentally wandered into the other tribe's camp? That's probably why modern Survvior has so many more limits on how far you can explore. Also, Dalton Ross has the inside scoop, and he informed us that there was an unseen reward challenge this episode for pizza. Green tribe won first place and blue tribe won second, but that fuel wasn't enough to win them immunity Good week (but think I'm short 2 pts on the week, unless I'm missing something). Jer Last week, you got 14x3=42 points for Ben, Sarah, and Adam, minus 2 for Wendell (your captain) getting a vote, which makes 40. I believe this to be correct but I'll check again if you think that's not right.

Thanks for the team progress report Badseed! Although, you might want to check on Denise's use of the 2 idols which she was already credited last week.

Every week I sink lower. The first few weeks I was in the top 3. Then I dropped down to 6th. Now, 9th place for me. In spite of my failure, I do appreciate badseed for doing this.

It's merge time! Tyson is back in the game, but our resident carpenter Wndell was blindsided. No one quit after the disappointment of losing the challenge, which surprised me. Several people bought idols & advantages, so that's a little boost to people with their active players stuck on Edge. So an interestin fact about the overall uninteresting Ghost Island... Did you know, Ghost Island was the only season where the Legacy Advantage had three different holders?

After a chaotic tribal, an unsuccessful attempt to pry off a piece of the set, and several weeks of flailing, we say goodbye to Adam. Adam got a clean-sweep of jury votes when he won Millennials vs Gen X, but it's unlikely he will here. Millenials vs Gen X was the first time I genuinely felt like a victim of ageism, but that aside. Did you know that the oldest millennial and youngest Gen X were less than 2 years apart in age? We're talking about Ken (DOB 9/20/82) and Mari (DOB 11/2/84). Not much of a generation gap, to be honest. Anyway, here are the results; jluvs is back on top, allysense is in striking distance of taking it away, I feel like I'm narrating a horse race with all these position changes.

Boomerang Boy Tyson gets goes back Edge this week. Pretty ironic that he won Blood vs Water and got sent out on family week. So a second fun fact about Blood vs Water- did you know that BvW was the first time in 23 seasons that they went to rocks? Says something about their tenacity; rocks are there to scare people into flipping. Anyways, no points awarded for that 30-minute Fiji Airways commercial, since no challenge was run and everyone got to partake. Below is what did score, we've got a funny little cascade of 1's and negative 1's going on.

Welcome back fans, and this week we see the departure of Sophie, winner of Survivor 23. With us approaching Season 46, it won't be much longer before she's classified as an "old school" player. Sophie was the winner of Survivor South Pacific, and did you know that South Pacific is the most recent example of a "Pagoning?" Derived from the first tribe to be victim of it, a Pagonging is what happens at the merge when one tribe votes out the other, all consecutively with no breaks, It was most likely facilitated by there being no swap, and Ozzy & Coach inspiring extreme tribalism on their respective sides. The merge was a 5-5 standoff until Cochran flipped, swinging it insurmountably in favor of Sophie's side. This week was huge for Tony, pity no one had him as captain to rake in those extra points. I had to make some judgement calls on how to score the extortionist advantage, and here's what I've decided: - Tony was the only person to say the exact phrase "This is Extortion" Natalie and Parv said "This is THE Extortion Advantage."
- Tony bought his way out of the disadvantage, so he doesn't get hit with a "Receives Disadvantage."
- Parvati got coins that can go towards buying an advantage, so giving her points for this advantage would be an unfair double-dip.

And another week down. We say goodbye to Kim this week, which sent a couple of people's scores reeling. On Edge, we saw several painful-looking slips on the rocks, but still no one threw in the towel. Sorry to everyone stuck with these bad pennies on their team. So, trivia about Kim's season. One World an infamously bad season, it may just be the most universally-disliked; truly Kim was the only bright spot. Did you know they had one contestant called Troyzan and another called Tarzan? In case it wasn't obvious already, casting was really phoning it in.

It's a double header episode! We're heading into the finale, and the race to the top remains a deadlock, with Allysense clinging to the lead by just 6 points! This week, Jeremy and Nick got voted out, but perhaps it's not "goodbye," but "see you later." And now for some mind-blowing facts; did you know that in Jeremy's season Survivor:Cambodia, only two different people found idols? And both were originally from San Juan Del Sur (Wentworth and Jeremy)? And, did you know that in David vs Goliath, Nick's swapped tribe was a disaster that was whittled down to just 3 people, but somehow they ended up as the three finalists!

It looks like a photofinish at the top with sirmalcoth, jluvs, jer_33, and myself bunched up together! For some reason the scores from the table are different from the ones in the total, like I have helenmaco score for the double episode so you might want to check that out. Thanks Badseed for running the pool!

So I did make some mistakes in the scoring, here's the corrected table, including giving credit to all players that boght challenge advantages. Still a very very close race.

This is what I have for episode 15 scoring. It includes everyone who bought advantages (not all people were mentioned on TV) and has Natalie buying the idol instead of Tyson (I misheard that on TV). Which part of this is incorrect?

Did anyone catch who said the episode title, and when? Depending on the answer, the difference between 1st and second could be just one point!

Another season is in the can, and the final scores are now published. It went up & down & all over the place, leading to a win by just one point! Here's the final scores. Note that in episode 16, "Lowest player out" bonuses count Denise as lasting longer than all the people banished from Edge. Side note; I have asked around on several forums and done research, but I've been unable to find out who said the episode title, so I'm going to have declare no points for that. There was also no Sia money given out, naturally, as they were all already millionaires. This was a very unusual season, almost everyone thinking Natalie had no chance after getting voted out first, or even worse me thinking Tony would repeat his Game Changers performance, lol. As a result, we have for the first time ever, RiNGO finishing in the top half!!! He got Natalie up to captainhood in the second to last episode, and got a major surge as a result. Not so lucky is the recipient of the Wooden Peanut Butter Jar. Peanut butter was this cast's favorite food by far; it was the only food item purchased besides Denise's rice, and it got almost everyone to drop out of that one endurance challenge. We're proud to offer our last placer a jar of the good stuff - all you have to do is go buy some peanut butter, put it in this jar, and voila, you've got the authentic Survivor experience. The wooden peanut butter jar goes to.... redsoxgirl and Winners Winners, No Chicken Dinners! Her team was stacked with old schoolers, and unfortunately, old-schoolers were in the crosshairs in the first half of the game. Indeed, you get no chicken dinners, but at least you'll have a jar full of peanut butter after you go buy peanut butter. Coming in 3rd place, jluvs and Wine and Cheese. Jluvs assembled a team that dodged Edge for quite some time and got a couple of the rare Last Player Out bonuses. Well done. In 2nd place, short of first by just one point, jer_33 ans Operation Multi-Millionaire! Jer also had several people that made it to merge, and was by far the biggest winner when the mass-banishment happened. Broke 400, but that windfall wasn't quite enough. And the big winner of the season, allysense and Winners At War!!!! She had a few upper-half scoreers in her initial team, and got Tony into captain position after Kim left. Well done to you! So congratulations to the winners, and thanks everyone for playing! Season 41 hasn't been filmed yet, so it'll be quite a while before we get to do this again, but I hope you all cna find other things to entertain you till then. Full scoring breakdown below.

Woohoo...I finally won a Badseed Survivor pool! Wow...was that close or what!? Great finish from jer_33 and could have easily won with that great surge with the last player out bonuses. Jluvs was in front a couple of weeks and simalcoth had Tony as his captain too just ahead of JosephD. Congrats to RiNGO in finishing in the top half as well as photobabe and the rest for playing. And thanks goes to Badseed for all the hard work and time put into running the pool!
