The Buddy System on Steroids - Tribes drop their buffs and switch things up in the game. Tension on one tribe opens up an opportunity for new alliances.
Enjoy the show!

And now we've got three tribes. I hope we get enough info on all three in the one short hour this show is on.
Kim's the one on the Dakal tribe who seems like she might flip, leaving Sandra and Tony on the outs. If she stays w/them, then Jeremy and Denise would be in trouble. I had to laugh at how impressed with their camp they were! Jeremy says he and Denise are George and Weezie, "movin' on up!"

LOL, on Sele, Parv calls their camp "Fixer Upper" and they're laughing at how it's not that great. Their "bed" does look pretty bad!! Nick is thrilled with his new tribe, Parv was his high school crush and he likes Wendell and Yul. Wendell and Michelle dated each other, and Parv said it didn't end well supposedly.

Rob got blindsided! He tried his "buddy system" not letting the guys go off with anyone else, so they spent all afternoon around camp bored. But, one or both of the other guys voted him off. Bummer, I liked watching him play, but the tribe swap did not work in his favor (again). He and Adam and Ben did not have good relationships, and I guess couldn't stick together.
Well, now he and Amber can hang out together on EoE, which we saw none of tonight. I bet next week we'll get plenty of EoE footage! Previews show something between Rob and Tyson.
Michelle didn't really have much good to say about Wendell, did she? And he was not very nice to her, asking (condescendingly, IMO) if she needed him to talk to her in the first minute they were on the same tribe. I lost some respect for him in that moment. boo!

I feel as if Rob is not into the game as much as he used to be. I don't see any fire in his eyes. It's as if he is just taking a step back and just watching what is happening. I am surprised he had issues looking for an idol as he has had time to watch the other seasons and figure it out. I want the old school players to go head to head with the new school. Let it be a Battle Royale not Limp Noodles.

I like Rob, but he looked like he didn't care about the game imho. I love Yul, I'd love him to win. I didn't know Penders wife has ALS, how sad. Adam bugs me, I wish he'd gone. How long did Michelle and Wendell date for? He sure resembles Jussie smollett

Yeah, Wendell sure didn't have a good look tonight.
I am just not a fan of switching to three tribes at this point. I always feel bad for them having to build a new camp when the others aren't having to expend that same energy. It just seems unfair at its core.

Rob looked mad when he was voted off. Loved it!!
I think he had a perfectly good idea how to look for idols but wanted to play stupid about it.

This was my favorite episode of this season so far! It was so refreshing not to have any Edge of Extinction content last night because we got to see a lot of camp life from the 3 new tribe divisions which I really enjoyed!
Yul had me in tears, I had no idea about Penners wife and that broke my heart, Yul is such a great guy and it makes me want to see him win even more! I could tell that Wendell was very uncomfortable with Michele being on tribes with him. Apparently their relationship didnt end well, but I do hope that they can work together somehow. It looks like Michele was at least trying not to make things feel so arkward.
I am worried for Tony. Kim, Sandra, and Denise all have idols and Jeremy can literally just ditch tribal council, which means that if Dakal loses a challenge, Tony could leave the game similar to the way Cirie Fields left in Game Changers. I don't want to see him go out like that, not in that way.
As far as the New Yara tribe goes, they are my least favorite overall so I was happy that they lost. Rob was way too controlling for my style. You cant just expect everyone to sit at camp and not strategize just because you say so. This is not a dictatorship its Winners at War. I knew Sophie and Sarah were not going to put up with that nonsense, and I think Adam and Ben had enough of it too.
Rob should have voted out Adam first when he had the chance. He lost Amber, Danni, Ethan, Tyson, all of his allies went back to back and he just couldnt find his footing this season due to a few bad decisions he made early on. I think if he werent so controlling and were a little more adaptable he could have gone further, but it was just time for him to go, and Im glad he's gone.

I think Rob's game doesn't adapt well to working solely with other winners. He needs people naive and star-struck enough to follow his lead blindly. It's harder for him to impress other winners who know it took him four tries to win, when it didn't take any of them that long. Plus, they're far less likely to put up with having him set the strategy for them, as they would know that he's going to do what's best for his game, not necessarily theirs. It's just harder for him to play this group. I would also agree that he seems rather demoralized at this point. I don't think he expected to have this many problems, and he did go from being one of the admired experts from last season (I mean, he had a statue built in his honor that go round) to being a guy the other players blindsided in this season.

I never felt Robs head was in the game. I think he knew he was going, that scene where they didn't move all day, seemed very off to us. I saw Sandra struggling in the immunity challenge, and I'm betting she's out soon.( yay) I don't care for Adam or Ben. I really like Yul and Sophie. Tony and Sarah. But I worry about all four.

I think this is why,or at least part of why, I dislike Rob and his game so much. He has no real play, he intimidates others and I hate to use the word given the stigma around it but he can be a bully. If you don't do things MY way you're gone. He can only be social with a few people at a time, so no game there. He is never going to outwit anyone anymore because, as Sophie AND Sarah noticed he only has the same tactics of his Boston Rob Buddy System. All he has going for him is a big personality and that is what gets a lot of people, Amber has more game play than he does/did. I may make jokes about it but the fact he played how many times before he won says a lot about his play or lack of IMO. He may be a keen observer, of people at least because he can't find an idol to save his life. This is a different game now and he cannot keep up with it. As soon as I saw his Buddy System BS go into effect my first thought was (but they didn't need it in this case) was Live Tribal. He would not be able to deal with it... that is not something he is used to and he cannot control Boston Rob is all about the control, that game is past now. I love Rupert, but he has no game play as well he is just a VERY kindhearted hippy guy that people like but I never see him wining no matter how many times he comes back. As for him not being "in the game" I think it MAY be true to a degree, I think he was upset about how Amber was voted out, THAT she was voted out, and WHO was the one leading the charge to vote her out. I also think he saw that he was not going to be in sole control and that irritated him, and maybe that caused him to shut down a bit. However I do not think it was that he wasn't "in the game" it was more that he didn't have the driver's seat and he was 'pouting.' I don't think he thought he was going till tribal, his ego wouldn't have allowed for that, but it was becoming obvious that he wasn't the pied piper of the beach. Now we get to see how he is on EOE with his wife, I am glad they are both there because then maybe only one will come back if one of them does... but I am rooting for Ethan to Unless Sandra or Yul end up there, but frankly I do not see that happen anytime soon. Sandra plays a smarter game and can adapt better than Rob, and Yul is also smarter and he can see how the game has changed and he is already starting to make adjustments.

I don't care what anyone says, I've always liked Rob and still do. But I'm still happy with how Tribal went. I like both of those girls and didn't want to see them go. And I agree Rob made mistakes early on and am fine with that being the consequence. Plus, I didn't want both Rob AND Amber in the game together. Also, good TV. The CBS app was terrible this week. It kept playing the show with no video, just audio. I had to reload and reload to get a picture. And I'm paying for it right now so I can watch Picard. My ABC app plays great. Sorry, non-sequitur rant.

I like Rob, but his buddy system was a terrible idea. He deserved to be voted out. He doesn't seem to be able to adapt to playing against big egos. I like Sandra, too. She's smart and fun to watch. In fact, the only players that are still not on extinction that I don't like are Adam and, to a lesser extent Ben and Denice.

That event looks so fun jluvs! Thanks for sharing the pictures and description with us! It was a blast. If it had been scheduled the next day it would have been canceled; so we were cautiously lucky🤷♀️ I will say that Adam Klein was extremely nice as I shared my extreme displeasure about what happened with Ethan; it was very one sided as I shared my theories and he couldn’t talk about anything😂 I felt a lot better afterwards. Last time I met Bradley, it was in a group photo situation, and I was so tall that I blocked him in all the shots😂 So we took a ton this time. Cole was attending for the first time. The only thing that bummed me out was not getting to meet Spencer; he was there but left before the podcast ended - I think smartly as he would have been swarmed.

Really Ethan you have to cheer on. Going through cancer twice. Way to go
Seems like you all had a great blast.
Rob just did not care if he was making people comfortable or not as that it shows in the previews there they may be losing but they are having fun now that Rob is sent to E.I.
