Strokes of Genius - Comedic superstars Ali Wong and Randall Park swing by the Top Chef kitchen for a Quickfire Challenge tasking the chefs to make the wackiest fried rice they can. Then, the chefs head to the famed Getty Museum to seek inspiration.
Huh? I don't know that any of the fried rice was whacky. Some was not even fried. Kevin came the closest to being inventive and won an advantage. Thank goodness he also immunity from his previous win, because the art inspired challenge was very challenging and he would have gone home.
I wish we could have really studied as they did the various art periods presented at the Getty Museum because I don't think I saw much resemblance at all (or I should say inspiration)in the dishes they created. Maybe it is just me in a funky mood.
A Last Chance Kitchen veteran makes an appearance there.
