The Full Circle - Winners at War put the game aside for a heartfelt moment with their loved ones. Also, after a wild tribal council, the 12th person is sent to the Edge of Extinction.
Enjoy the show!

I was fine, until the EoE people got their visits. The others were sweet and nice, but when Nat screamed, "It's our families!" and Amber's face as she ran towards the boat was so desperate, I started to cry!!! Something about those people, being out of the game, down and out in a way, and they get such a boost - it was so touching. The babies, the kids, it was all too much!

Tony wins immunity! He cracks me up, and he's so thrilled. I liked his quote, "on a game that requires patience - it's not my style of game. Slow and steady is not what I'm made of. I'm made out of fast and sloppy!"

Wow, that tribal was brutal, and kind of confusing too. Everyone played their advantages, Kim played her idol - for Denise, and Tyson got voted off again. Poor guy! I was worried it would be Jeremy, but he had the Leave Tribal w/o voting advantage. The jury seemed to think he abandoned his people, something Jeremy brought up earlier being a firefighter, and how you stick with your guys. But, I think it was smart in a way, because it sure could've been him leaving tonight. Who knows the ramifications, though??
I'm not sure why Sarah/Sophie think that Kim is such a threat. She was the one crying early on because she has no one, and she's still currently out of the majority group. Why would they think she's so scary, because she wins a lot of immunities? She can't win them all. I agree with some who say Sophie's the most dangerous now, since she's in the majority, and can be very convincing, while also being very aware of what games they're playing.
The ending was cute, as Probst dismissed the jury, Rob says they had something for him. They all rushed Jeff and gave him a group hug and lots of thanks. It was sweet!!

For the love of, this family segment just keeps going and going and going! I never thought I'd say "I'm bored, can they please get to the 'standing in place for a long time' challenge???" Call me a feelingless jerk if you want, but this is a blatant concession to make WaW happen.
THank goodness for DVRs, this it got me so worked up that I fast forwarded through the immunity challenge too

I lost it when big, loud, tough cop, Tony started crying when he saw his family. I wonder if they had the family feast. Anyone know? Those folks on Extinction sure could have used a meal.

I cried , the whole time the loved ones came out, seeing the children, hugging, made me miss my granddaughter even more. Tony, Jeremy, Ben, they all just left the game behind, and opened their arms..then we see EOE, Amber's face was priceless. I loved Tony winning immunity, he was so chuffed.lol Poor Tyson, maybe he comes back again?wouldn't that be something.. I love this game! 💓💟

Me too....I lost it when the EOE folks got their visit. Maybe because they weren't introduced and weren't asked questions- it was just natural and raw. Loved it...and I usually snore through the loved ones visits!

The ending was cute, as Probst dismissed the jury, Rob says they had something for him. They all rushed Jeff and gave him a group hug and lots of thanks. It was sweet!! I think Jeremy was smart to leave, but the jury did seem to see it as abandoning his alliance. Still, he had to trust his gut, and he was right that he would have been voted out if he'd stayed. I felt so bad for Tyson. UGH!!! It seemed like Kim had been right to save Denise, but they were clearly gunning for Tyson with the split vote. It just occurred to me, though. Even with Denise's vote gone, if Tyson, Kim, and Michelle all voted for the same person, shouldn't there have been a tie? Gotta go check the voting, because something is fishy. EDITED TO ADD: Wow! The voting was more bizarre than I thought. The votes for Denise came from Nick and Michelle! Clearly, Michelle was never really aligned with Tyson, Kim, Denise, and Jeremy. With Sarah's two votes, there were five votes for Tyson, so he was toast no matter what. So sad for him! But that just proves that Jeremy was smart to leave! Here's a link to the voting page (for some reason the link isn't linking, so you'll have to cut and paste it): en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Survivor:_Winners_at_War#Voting_history

I can't stand the family reunions, the videos and letters from home. This is Survivor, suffer and win is the name of the game and that is how it should be played. That being said and after fast forwarding to the Edge of Extinction I kinda watched the families reunite and that seemed more genuine. However I still say for the money the players should earn it the hard way and that is includes no family or friends in anyway. Another wild and crazy ride at tribal, Jeremy played his advantage by leaving the tribal and saving himself, Kim used her Immunity Idol to save Denise, and Sarah used her steal a vote to steal Denise's vote. Are there any advantages or Immunity Idols left? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Survivor:_Winners_at_WarYou have to scroll to the very bottom to find the voting results.

THank goodness for DVRs, this it got me so worked up that I fast forwarded through the immunity challenge too Over 18 minutes I had to fast forward through. Please eliminate the family visits. They are supposed to be suffering on a desert island this defeats the premise of the game. No family visits. No videos. No letters. No phone calls. Na Da.

The online YouTube video has Michelle voting for Tyson. Interesting. I guess the person doing the wiki got it wrong. It looks like they've fixed it now.

Thank you Survivor for letting EVERYONE spend time with their family. Like seriously how could they expect someone to win a reward and not pick the family with the little kids to join them on the reward. I've always hated that concept, so this was long oveerdue, and I feel like they should do this going forward. I wasn't expecting the Family Visit this soon though, normally this happens around Final 7 or Final 8.
It was so nice to see Tony win his first Individual Immunity. I love that guy, and would love to see him win this whole thing.
Jeremy absolutely made the right decision to play his advantage. Lately players have gotten too fancy with these advantages right when they are about to expire, for example Kellee gave her idol to Dean and he voted our out the next episode, Sandra gave her idol to Denise and she voted her out. Nope if I have an advantage and its about to expire im playing it for me.
I think Tyson knew he was done as soon as Jeremy left camp. Kim was so close to blindsiding Sophie that would have been amazing lol. Wish this was a 90 min episode they just always go by so fast.

I missed the first half of Survivor. So that left me puzzled why the jury swarmed Jeff after TC. Cute! Sandra is presumably in seclusion somewhere and we don't know if she saw any family. She was a quitter so fine by me.
Tyson giving the player baskets the finger on his way back to EoE, LOL. Hope he scores more peanut butter.
Any advantages or idols of anyone on EoE will be in play for whichever person makes it back in.

The more I watch this show the more I DO like the family episode. It is kinda nice, as a viewer too, to take that break and see people that have villainized within the game be all too human for that moment again. Tony is a great example of that for me, I am not a fan of his as a player but it was very touching to see his reunion. The same can be said of Amber on EE, everyone knows I am not a fan of her husband but I can deal with her in small doses, lol. As a mother I FELT that reaction of hers and I was thrilled to see them get a visit with their loved ones.. they are all winners so it was deserved no matter if it was on exile or in the main camp IMO.
I will say however as heartwarming as I found the majority of the 2 segments I almost dislike Natalie more. I didn't like her or her sister on AR and I didn't like her on Survivor.. less this season. Something about her attitude and her body language rubs me the wrong way.
I was pulling for Tyson once he returned, I was sad to see him get the short end of that voting stick. I would have rather seen Denise or Jeremy go. Smart a it was for him to use his advantage, and from a game play standpoint I agree with his move, it will bite him in the behind soon I think.

It seems Jeremy was screwed either way. If he stayed, he'd get voted out; and now that he left, it will be held against him. Unless he can do some major scrambling, he's toast!

I have always loved family visits and I agree this one was the best. . . except it was too long. . . by the time the "If you were writing this moment in a diary . . ." I was rolling my eyes. I will still cryiing big fat tears but also rolling my eyes. Jeff doesn't need to ask a poignant question every single time. Loved that the edge people got family too and no children turned away from the visit.

Loved it when the kids and teens thought they would have to compete for the challenge and that was funny. Jeff was so cute in this episode. Poor Tyson can't catch a break. Like Ben the second time around as he is low key and trying to play as a team player this time around, shows you can change. Just wished those on exile could had gotten a feast but still family is great!

I'm another one who's not enthused about the family visits. I see them as a waste of a half an episode. I've never quite understood why the contestants get so overly emotional about seeing people they haven't seen in maybe a few weeks. It's not like they've been gone for a year or like anyone has been in a war or anything. I've taken vacations longer than that & didn't fall apart when I came home.
As for Tyson, I've never been a huge fan, although I have no problem with him either. It was sad though, for him to get sent away again so soon. He never got a chance. Did I not see something, or did he not leave his tokens to anyone? I thought he grumbled something and possibly gave them the finger, and then just walked off to EOE. I don't blame him. He won his way back & never got a chance.
Jeremy did the right thing. He would have gone home & he knew it. Using that advantage might have looked like deserting everyone, but they were deserting him. At least this way he gets at least a few more days. I hope the target changes from him by next tribal council. It does seem like it changes quite often.

Maybe it's the social isolation talking, but that was a great episode. This season has been the best, even with the goofy fire tokens.

Commentary on what little game we had... that was a terrible read by Kim - no way Sarah would use the vote steal on the real target, that'd be WAY too obvious. He had none left. He spent all his tokens on peanut butter and the challenge-advantage. He would not have been allowed to keep them if he had any.

You're right, badseed! If Kim had used the idol on Tyson, it would have a tie between Denise and Sophie, so there was a 50/50 chance that Sophie would have gone home. No way for Kim to know that, and maybe she wanted Denise to stay no matter what, but that move certainly didn't make much of a difference.
