Brand Evolution - Tim and Heidi take the four remaining designers to a serene tea ceremony before revealing the next assignment. Now, the designers must create a two-to-four look mini-collection that embodies the evolution of their brands since the beginning of the competition. One competitor’s ambitious plan quickly unravels, while another decides to go big or go home. Eps 7 and 8 are available to watch now. Enjoy the show!

I think this episode definitely cemented Esther as the one to beat. Her work was a step above in this episode. She also really showed that she knew how to manage a team too, in the way she worked with the seamstresses. I like what Sander did, but the big WOW moment of his runway show wasn't even his own idea - it was Tim's. The only look of Jonny's that I liked was that pleated dress. I totally agreed with the judges that the weird fanny pack was not necessary. It detracted and it didn't go with that look. I was sad to see Megan go, but it was clearly her time. The other three are just better overall. I was sort of touched at how emotional Naomi got when saying goodbye to Megan. She actually DOES have feelings!

I agree! Esther's collection was so good! I loved the TOP THREE T-shirt, and the way she revealed it was classic!

I really like the top three. I was confused at the beginning of this show, but it, and especially the designers, has grown on me. Two Europeans and one street wear American to fight it out.

I would have really liked for Meghan to stay as well, especially since both she and Johnny had issues and were both bottlenecked. Rooting for all three of the finalists to put on a great show and do their best work. I admit to initially being biased towards Esthar because she's a Berliner but Sander and Johnny have grown on me.

I kinda wanted Meghan to stay both. I was confused as I thought the judges had to judge on what they see at the current fashion show and it came across as if they voted to keep Jonny based on his body of work vs being disappointed over his fashion show as it was a rerun of items he had done previously. Jonny wanted to take what he had done before and push it to the next level and that did not happen. Meghan at least tried that and was somewhat successful. Would Jonny even had a collection without Esther helping him?
I did like in the preview that there will be one more elimination.

Overall I enjoy this show, I was a fan of Project Runway, and I liked Netflix's Net in Fashion. But lets be honest I will never wear any of these clothes. They do not run to plus sizes, and I would never be able to afford them. I cannot justify spending $500 for a pair of pants or $2 to $3000 for a jacket.

For me, Sander or Meagan's clothes would work. However I am 55, the extra curly architecture or fabric of Meagan's might read too old on me.
I like Johnny's clothes. His pop up shop next week might beat out the others. Who knows?
Everyone loves Esther, but I do not get her captain hat and big clunky shoes. I like that Naomi fought for Meagan. Hopefully recognition from this show will open doors for Meagan.

I get why she was voted off, but I too hope some doors will open for her.

I thought that was so sweet how Esther treated the seamstresses nicely and emphasized that they were a team. I hope she wins.
I agreed with Megan's going, but I just wished it had happened a different way. Jonny was scrambling at the end and never would have finished without Esther's help. And as you said, Sander's big moment wasn't even his original idea. Tim gave it to him.
I wonder if Naomi will come back if this show gets another season? Isn't this the second time the other judges have overruled her and gotten rid of a designer she liked? And yeah, I noticed that she definitely seems more relaxed since Nicole Ritchie left.
I will watch this show if it comes back. I love the traveling aspect, and it was refreshing to see designers who actually got along instead of wanting to stab each other with their scissors. Of course, that could change in the future.

I think it was the third time that Naomi was out-voted. I'm not sure I'd want to come back if I were her.

I've read a few blind items about how she was NOT liked by anyone on set, so I'd be surprised if she did come back. She's not got a history of being a very nice person.....understatement, I know!

Yeah. Given her reputation, I've been surprised that she's come across as so kind and compassionate.
