Friendly Fire - Alliances may crumble after a tribal blindside, and an undercover operation escalates to new heights. Also, there’s another brutal challenge on Edge of Extinction.
Enjoy the show!

Ben's being a pouty baby, but then finds an idol. Sheesh, can't we be rid of this guy?? I can't stand him, and then he was so weird when he found the idol: first tried to hide it, then showed Tony, got on his knees in front of Tony to what, apologize?grovel? I don't know. Then he picked Tony up and ran off with him. The guy's so weird. Poor Rob with his bloody elbow on EoE, getting all his coconuts even though the challenge was over. Gosh, those winners were sure athletic people! Amazing. I would've been more like Adam, barely making it. Now we've got the bucket-above-their-heads challenge.

Kim's recognized that Tony's a huge threat, but they have to "back burner" that plan when he wins immunity. Ben goes and tells Tony this, so now Tony is after Kim. Ben's after Jeremy. Michelle gives Jeremy her 50/50 token, so I hope that means he has a chance to stick it out this tribal.
And... Ben's still being a baby and pouting when Jeremy tries to talk to him.

What is Bens problem with Jeremy, he really bugged me tonight. Tony was the boss tonight. Kim, whine whine whine, you stepped down from the challenge, for cookies, suck it up buttercup. Two hours next week, who comes back from EoE? Kudos to Rob for finishing the challenge Natalie is a comp beast she could be back. Not that keen on her though..

I sure wish they'd send Ben away. I just don't like the guy. The more I watch this the more I like Tony.

I can't wait for two hours of this show - the episodes seem to go way too fast for me. Yay! Natalie is amazing, not to mention she's been over on EoE the longest! She's so athletic. She wasn't always my favorite, but I've got to give her due respect! If she makes it back in, good for her. Tony has been so good these past few episodes, wow. How he got them to switch to Kim was awesome. I felt bad for Kim, and give her credit for stepping up her game - she was almost out early on! But she got played, which is why I like this game. I didn't understand why Jeremy didn't try the 50/50 though. It looked like he had some deal with Tony, who told him not to do it, so he didn't!! What? He almost deserved to go home just for that: if you feel like playing an advantage, then do it, don't ask for permission! I wonder if he'll have to give it back to Michelle now. That was very nice of her to share it with him. They all seem to think Jeremy's got this win in the bag if he gets to the end, but they better be scared about Tony too!

^Risky, to trust Tony! I'm glad Jeremy is still there, though. I really like him.

Rob's comment at tribal council pretty much said it all: "Tony's the boss!" And unless someone else does something truly spectacular, I don't see how Tony doesn't win this at the end. He's been visibly controlling the game for several episodes now, and the jury can see that. If Jeremy gets to the ends, I suppose he could argue that he's been a target from the beginning but had a good enough social and strategic game to still be there. And there's definitely something to be said for that!

This game is getting so chaotic that I can't enjoy the mess it has become.

I didn't care for the chaotic mess of a Tribal Council this week. They have days to work that stuff out. That's not the time or place. That should be against the rules.

It is frustrating when week after week we have no idea how the blindsides came about. Tony IS the boss. 😄

I think before tribal council Tony couldn't get people to agree to join him in voting off Kim. I'm not sure why they would change their minds at TC but I like that Tony was able to orchestrate it. Wow, lots of faith in Tony when Jeremy didn't even try to play the advantage. I'm glad it worked out for him. I didn't really care either way exactly, but I don't really root for Kim so I'm fine with her going. Ben was really adamant back at camp that it would be Jeremy going, so I wonder why he finally conceded to the Kim going plan.
I liked that they had some subtitles at TC this week, but I would have loved to see even more of them. That's the main reason I don't like all the whispering, otherwise I'm fine with it.
What was with Denise telling Jeremy she was ready to vote and didn't want to talk with him? Shouldn't she have been a little concerned with all that whispering that the vote was changing and she shouldn't burn that bridge?

I'm wondering if the silent conversations at Tribal Council will be stopped at some point, or does Jeff and company think they add to the game? I kind of liked the directed conversation that Jeff used to host, but now it is becoming a 'forget the conversation with Jeff, I'm going to talk off camera with the players'. It's not so interesting for the viewer.
Tony is looking pretty strong at this point. Wonder if he can continue to the end, because without immunity, everyone else is going to kick him out. I'm ready for Ben to be gone as well. I wasn't entirely happy when he won his season and this is just highlighting everything I didn't like about him.

Tony is indeed looking strong. I didn't care for him much at the beginning, but now I'm almost rooting for him. He makes for pretty entertaining TV.
I think we only see a tiny snippet of the entire tribal council time....isn't that right? I wonder if the whispering and talking over Jeff has been going on a long time, but has been edited out until recently? Or maybe TPTB haven't allowed them to talk much to each other until now. In any case, I agree with many here that's it's gotten a bit carried away. There's so much confusion that we as viewers can't really follow what's happening. (Jeff seems to behave like it makes for great TV....it's wearing thin for me.)

Correct. From what I have read over the years the shortest that tribal council has been is 45 minutes. I know they’ve at least gone 2 hours.

Or maybe I'm confused, because I've been watching the post-show analysis by Rob Cesternino and Stephen Fishback, and it's clear from listening to them that this didn't happen on their seasons and is most definitely a new thing that they think needs to stop. (Though they did seem to like it better this week, since the show had added subtitles so we knew what they were saying.) Personally, I find it fascinating to watch, though it kind of makes much of the rest of the show seem meaningless, since we sometimes don't really know how they got from the plans we saw them making to what happened at tribal.

Tony is a threat down the line. As needs to not get immunity and to use his hidden immunity idol there. As also need to find a way to blindside Ben as he is a threat down the line but also has a hidden immunity idol.
