I watched him on the winter games, I think he's lovely. I never watch Canadian bachelor..I looked them up and then I remembered her..  I wish they'd have another winter games.. There’s a Winter Olympics coming soon. Maybe they’ll do another season of Winter Games! That's what I was hoping!.. |

I thought Astrid and Kevin met when he was on Bachelor in Paradise. (Remember the season where Ashley and Jared came to Paradise to get engaged while Kevin, who she had recently broken up with, was forced to watch?)
I thought he and Astrid were a couple on that season but broke up at the end rather than getting engaged and then promptly got back together outside of the show.

Bachelor Nation's Astrid Loch Welcomes First Baby With Kevin Wendt. They had a bit of a struggle getting pregnant. Congratulations to both of them! Kevin and Astrid's newborn son August was diagnosed with Covid and hospitalized.  Both Kevin and Astrid contracted Covid as well. Poor little guy. This makes me so sad for them. They went through so much to have their baby. Prayers for little August. |

What a sweet video? I loved hearing Natasha squealing in the background s as they were kissing. Too cute! On the “oopsie” front…. MissGriss - yeah, that kind of bothered me too. I really feel for her. She moved and left her whole life behind to be with him in Ohio and now this. I do wonder if he's a bit too into being the hot dad, based on his IG. Maybe she's taking the high road, which would makes sense. IMO, she's a class act.

I’ve suspected for a while now that he’s rather controlling and not as great a catch as we all thought when watching him on TV. I was NOT impressed with the way he used [can’t remember her name] to stay on Paradise until Danielle got there and then gaslit her when she called him on it.

More info about the breakup including Danielle's perspective. According to her, she was dumped unexpectedly. It came out of the blue one day after a love-filled weekend where Michael was very supportive of her while she was going through the retrieval process to freeze her eggs. One thing I'm confused by in this article is that it says Michael announced it on Jason Tartick's podcast, but I thought it was on Ben and Ashley's. I had a feeling that it might have something to do with having kids and it looks like that might have been at least part of it. He's very much making it sound like he told her before her big move from Nashville that he might never want to have more kids (claiming is doesn't fit into his lifestyle *insert eye roll*), but to let her go through the egg retrieval - he claims that was just for HER - and break off things the day after is not a good look. It seems like she put a lot more effort into the relationship and was more committed than he was.
I hope she meets someone MUCH better than Michael and is able to use those eggs. She's such a nice person and deserves better than Michael.
He did go on Jason's podcast, btw, but he also did a Q and A on his podcast. He admitted that he broke up with her, so at least he's not trying to twist that part of the story. I think he's making himself look worse and worse, every time he opens his mouth. I think he just needs to shut up and go away for a while. Meanwhile, she's keeping it classy and staying quiet (so far) after her initial statement.
IMO, maybe he did tell her he was open to having kids in the future, but didn't want them immediately, but I highly doubt what he's saying now is what he told her then - basically, "I don't really want more kids." I think he wanted to be with her and said what he needed to say, with respect to more kids. Maybe she hoped HIS "maybe" would become a yes if they ended up getting married, but I think if he'd said "no" from beginning, I don't think she probably would have proceeded with the relationship and moved to another state for him. Shame on him for wasting her time, knowing she really wanted to have kids and knowing that, for thirtysomething women who want to have their own children, time is precious.
