I finally just finished season 2 (after FINALLY fixing the performance issue with my laptop) and OMG, I can't believe we have to wait until next year for new episodes! I really wish they'd give us a longer season. Twelve episodes just is not enough!
In spite of the pretty serious storyline they've given Diane, the finale still had some laughs. All the ladies cursing loudly while Luca was in labor was laugh out loud funny. We thought Colin's mom was nuts, but only because we hadn't met Luca's mom yet! You just know Andrea Martin and Judith Light had a ball with those scenes.
The jingle that idiot came up with in favor of lawyers = When they played it over the closing credits, I was dying. Oh, and yes, let's arm all the lawyers....and the firearms instructors will definitely be hot women in bikinis Even Julius seemed to get that those four were fools.
We watched the first 2 episodes of season 1 last night and enjoyed it. So, they have filmed 3 seasons which aired on CBS All Access? Has season 3 finished airing? I wonder why they are doing this? Do they want to drum up more viewers for CBS All Access? Those of you who have been watching it on All Access, how much is it? I wonder if I should stick with watching season 1 b/c I really don't have any desire to pay more money to watch seasons 2 and 3 on All Access. Darn them all!
The show's third season just wrapped up a few weeks ago. They post one episode per week as if it were on regular TV, as opposed to dumping the whole season at once like many streaming shows.
All Access is $5.99 a month (I think, unless it's gone up). Many FORTers have had it for years, ever since the Big Brother live feeds moved there several seasons ago. And Big Brother is starting up next week, so there's that too. There's a thread on how to subscribe in the BB Live Feeds forum.
I remember when The Good Fight, the sequel to The Good Wife, first started running on All Access after Big Brother a couple of years ago and passed on it because I didn't want to pay for All Access. Watched eps. 1 and 2 of season 1 last night and Loved it! With BB coming up I decided to pay for a month of All Access where I can binge all three seasons now and drop All Access after a month if I find (as usual) that I'm not interested in watching the Live Feeds! Loving this show!
CBS All Access will premiere the fourth season of The Good Fight starring Christine Baranski on Thursday, April 9. New episodes of the legal drama spun off from CBS’ The Good Wife will be available every Thursday thereafter on the streamer.
The 10-episode Season 4 finds Reddick, Boseman & Lockhart navigating a very different landscape. After they lost their biggest client, Chumhum, and their founding partner’s name was tarnished, Reddick, Boseman & Lockhart was forced to accept an offer by a huge multinational law firm, STR Laurie, to become a small subsidiary. Suddenly, all of their decisions can be second-guessed by the giant firm that is literally on top of them. While STR Laurie initially seem like benevolent overlords, we find Diane Lockhart (Baranski) and her colleagues chafing at their loss of independence.
Cush Jumbo, Audra McDonald, Sarah Steele, Michael Boatman, Nyambi Nyambi, Zach Grenier, John Larroquette and Delroy Lindo also star in the series. Hugh Dancy joins Season 4 in a recurring role.
I'm all caught up now since I finally signed up for CBS All Access. I'm trying to decide whether or not I'll cancel and then re-up once this and a few other shows have come back with new content. LOVED the third season, but that finale was a heart stopper.
BOO! We were already losing Delroy Lindo and Now Cush is leaving too? I do hope that they come back next season to wrap up storylines. It would feel weird if the show started up and both Adrian and Lucca were just gone
