Just because they yielded another team (that's gone) earlier in the game? Not sure.

I understand they had a five alliance but I'll never understand ganging up on a team that is never in the top of the pack. I like the sisters and wish they could have hung on this leg, but with two yields played on them they had very little chance of that.
They're ruining my favorite show with their stupid alliance.

Someone else online wondered how much later the sisters checked in, if it was over the 40 minutes that they were yielded, then it wouldn't have mattered anyway. I understand not using the yield on the NFL guys, who are supposedly in your alliance, because it would only pause them for 20 minutes. Not enough to make a difference in the elimination, I'm sure. But they could've just not used it at all. I can't stand the "helping" each other either, especially this late in the game. It's just so boring. (and what IS the name of their alliance? Mine Five? Mind Five? Mayan Five?)

Same here. I would want to yield stronger teams ,lets face it, the blondes with their bad luck, were never going to win. They didn't seem cut out for AR, but I thoroughly enjoyed them I was hoping a team, would yield Will and James, but no. With all the help they are getting, I can see them winning over my faves, which is par for the course in 2020..

Now that the five have made it together, it could be every team for themselves starting with the next leg.

Finished the first episode Are You a Rickshaw? the first half of the mega leg.
Really Will, Really????
Why the heck are you Yielding the Blondes. They have the worst luck. This team is perpetually in last place. They do not need any help getting eliminated. It was just mean. These guys are idiots. Your reasoning is that they have the best luck.

Just finished This Is Not Payback, This Is Karma. I was hoping the blondes could make it once again. Just cause.
I didn't particularly like that the 5 alliance planned to yield the blondes twice, the girls while having a great attitude toward each other and the race simply did not come across as a threat especially when you looked at their track record. I for one would rather eliminate a strong team than a team weaker than I am.
Now that the 5 alliance has reached it's goal of eliminating all but the remaining alliance members it will be interesting to see what happens. Will the core 3 alliance be able to make it to the final leg?
The brother and sister team are weak and I am amazed that they are still here.
The Bread Bros, Hung and Chee, Will and James, and the NFL players have consistently been the strongest teams. It is a toss up between any of these four.
However I have found this season a bit boring and very predictable. I think the producers of Amazing Race need to put some game changes in to spic it up a bit. I need another Colin or Flo to yell at and be disgusted by. I want to see some rivalries some cattiness.
Make it so for some legs no one can help any of the teams else they get a 20 minute time penalty something.

I loved the blondes so much! They had such a fantastic attitude, and they never gave up. I was so sad that they got yielded twice. I suppose in some ways it was fair that they were the ones who went home since they had come in last twice on non-elimination legs, but I still hate to see them go! They were my favorites in the end! Edited to add: For those wondering what the alliance name was, I was trying to figure it out, too, and then I remembered that they had made the alliance during that challenge in the mine where they had to find the hourglasses for the yield. So it's called the Mine Alliance. You're welcome! LOL Did the Beard Bros tell Phil that the three (Bros, Will/James, and Hung/Chee) were going to continue their alliance in the next leg, or did they say all bets were off? I kind of had the impression that the first two teams indicated they were continuing their smaller alliance and that the football players and the brother/sister team were the ones who said all bets were off now. I supposed I could go back and watch (and maybe I will tomorrow), but for now, I'm going to bed.

Several teams have said that "all bets are off" or some such during these episodes, now that they down to the final 5.

I couldn't figure it out either, I thought it was the 'lion alliance' that's how far off I was. I also agree with the blonds' attitude, they lost with such grace. I was really pulling for them. And I really liked how the gentlemen in the turbans were rooting for them. India looked lovely! (Except for the teeth part, that grossed me out and I had to look away).
