Looks like his brother did not attend or PEOPLE would have been all over it. Congrats, though...six years is a long engagement.

I'm sorry COVID messed with all of their plans, over and over again. They're a really nice couple. Her dress was pretty, but I hope their photographer got better photos than the ones shown at People.

Did you see her ring? WOW! That's a beauty (she said Jordan bought it himself when he did the re-proposal). I think she had more than one wedding dress; from what I've seen, I'd guess 3!! Pretty, yes - and she's just gorgeous.

Well, color me surprised. I really didn't think this pairing was going to last. Besh wishes to them. I hope he's the real deal. I didn't get a good feeling watching him on BIP.

The list of men vying for Rachel and/or Gabby's roses is out: Bachelorette contestantsSome occupations are the typical: real estate, personal trainers, bankers, etc. Then there's a "leisure executive," a "meatball enthusiast," and some guys who list their occupation as "Twin." They sound real mature, based on their little blurb! I don't even know what "Crypto Guy" would do for a living, buy and sell cryptocurrency?? There are a few good looking guys, who seem like they might actually have potential. And some, of course, who may not exactly be there for the right reasons....!

"Twin," "Other Twin," and "Meatball Enthusiast?" I swear ABC is trolling us with this crap. Half of them seem like a waste of time, but there are a few contenders there. Trying to pick out the troublemaker before the season starts...there's always one.

Reality Steve had them all on his IG in March. I'm amazed that ABC even bothers to keep it a secret any more when RS will have it months ahead of the season.
Who was the girl one season whose chyron said "Poultry Enthusiast"?
As someone else said, crypto is just an MLM for finance bros. I'm sure that guy is going to be a douchebag.
I enjoyed that last season Bukowski did BIP and they kept changing his chryon to things making fun of how many times he'd been on the show.

I just read about this and had come here to post about it. It really must have been a tough decision, but it sounds like it was the right thing to do.
I notice that he still has his dorky sense of humor. One of the hashtags in his Instagram post about it was #CAMputee. LOL
I really like that he's using his visibility to bring attention to this medical condition.

LOL I really like that he's using his visibility to bring attention to this medical condition.Agreed. I worked with a woman who had lymphedema and saw its effects up close, but I still didn't realize it could get to the point of someone needing amputation. I think he attitude will definitely help his recovery.
I just saw an article within the last few weeks about how he and Kathy Bates, who's dealing with lymphedema in her arm(s?) after breast cancer surgery (removal of lymph nodes can bring it on), have teamed up to bring more awareness about the condition. They seemed like an odd pairing, but I love it. I think most people who know about lymphedema, picture someone like Kathy (older woman, who's not thin) as the kind of person who gets it. They definitely don't think of someone like Cam.
ETA: I just checked Cam's IG and he's already up and moving around with a walker. Amazing.

I'd only heard of lymphedema occuring as a side effect of cancer and/or from obesity. A good friend of mine has lymphedema because of removal of lymph nodes due to breast cancer. It's in her arm. Cam is amazingly positive. Best wishes to him.

I think the article said that Cam was born with it. I wonder how common that is.
I think when he was on either The Bachelor or Bachelor in Paradise and people were acting like he was making a big deal over nothing, he mentioned that it was serious enough that he might eventually need to have one of his legs amputated, but even then people seemed to think he was exaggerating. Clearly, he wasn't!

Cam is amazingly positive. Best wishes to him. I have lymphedema. My specialist told me it is something that can lay dormant but can flare up when you have a serious injury, she had seen teenagers with it after breaking a bone. Mine started up after I broke my ankle and it is in the lower part of that leg. My weight is part of why it is so bad, when you are bigger and sit a lot, as I do for my job, it kinks the lymph system and makes it more difficult for the fluid to leave the extremity. It's no fun. On another note, that is truly horrifying. I have been dealing with it for more than 10 years and I did not realize it could lead to amputation. I assume that happens if it gets totally out of control?

If you watch some of the reels on Cam's IG, even the one right before his surgery - it was his last workout before the amputation - his right leg looks thin. Like, if you saw him out and about, you wouldn't even notice anything different about his legs. I did notice that his right leg has less muscle tone than his left one, but I may have only noticed because I was specifically looking at his right leg. I wonder if the lessened muscle tone has to do with the lymphedema. Cam talked about primary and secondary lymphedema - he has the former. I didn't realize it was a condition you could be born with. I'm so sorry you have to deal with it. I watched my former co-worker and what she went through. It was NOT fun.

All I really do is wear a compression stocking. I did find out that my new doctor's clinic has a lymphedema clinic. I need to make an appointment if for nothing else to get a new stocking. They only last so long but they are so dang expensive.

If anyone's interested, Cam was on Reality Steve's podcast last week. He talked all about his lymphedema up to and including his surgery, as well as his time on the show. One thing that really stuck out for me is that NONE of the guys from his season of the Bachelorette contacted him after the news of his surgery broke. Not one. Not a call, not a text, not even a DM. Apparently, Dylan Barbour deleted Cam from the guys' group text chat way back when. Hannah, apparently, did reach out, which shows that she has more class than any of those guys. Ben and Ashley I have done 12 days of podcasts leading up to the premiere and I'm listening to Gabby's grandfather on their podcast right now talking about how he met his wife. It involves a college party, lots of alcohol and the cops! This is his first podcast. He's such a treasure. I'm also enjoying Trista and Bob Guiney's OG podcast offshoot of Ben and Ashley's podcast. It's fun, as someone who's watched from the beginning, to look back at the early seasons. They've had some "OG" folks from the franchise on, which has mostly been really cool. I will say that Prince Lorenzo Borghese is an even bigger douchebag than he was on the show. I guess that isn't surprising.

By Michele Corriston Published on August 21, 2022 09:07 AM Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams attend the 47th Annual People's Choice Awards at Barker Hangar on December 07, 2021 in Santa Monica, California Photo: Amy Sussman/Getty Three years after getting engaged, Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams are officially newlyweds! The Modern Family alum, 31, and Bachelor in Paradise bartender, 38, were married in an outdoor ceremony on Saturday, Aug. 20, at Sunstone Winery near Santa Barbara, Calif., a source confirms to PEOPLE. The pair were surrounded by family and friends, including Hyland's Modern Family costars Nolan Gould, Sofia Vergara (who brought her son, Manolo Vergara), Julie Bowen and Jesse Tyler Ferguson (who was joined by his husband, Justin Mikita). The couple first flirted on Twitter in 2016 but didn't get together until the fall of 2017. (Adams later confirmed he first met Hyland through social media.) Before Hyland and Adams coupled up, she had been vocal about her not-so-secret crush on him during his time vying for JoJo Fletcher's heart on season 12 of The Bachelorette in 2016. The pair surprised fans by dressing up in a couple's Stranger Things costume for Halloween 2017. Then they spent time together in his home base of Nashville and hers in Los Angeles, documenting their adventures on Snapchat and Instagram. He even planned a week-long birthday celebration for Hyland that included a rendezvous at Disneyland. In December 2017, they selected and decorated their first Christmas tree together. Modern Family's Sarah Hyland and The Bachelorette's Wells Adams Are Engaged! Adams proposed to Hyland in summer 2019 after almost two years of dating. The couple originally planned to wed in August 2020, but delayed the nuptials multiple times due to COVID-19 concerns amid the pandemic. In August 2021, Adams told PEOPLE that he and Hyland were "hoping" to get married in 2022 β but he also teased that they were "gonna go to Vegas or the courthouse" to wed if another setback hit. "We were supposed to get married obviously last year, that didn't happen. We were supposed to get married this year, that didn't happen," the Bachelor in Paradise bartender told PEOPLE at the time. He added, "So now we are hoping next year, or we're gonna go to Vegas, or the courthouse, I don't know β well, we're not going to do those last two things, but I don't know. 2022 has got to be our year, right?!" Last month, Hyland chatted with PEOPLE about her wedding day and what she's most looking forward to when it comes to married life. "We are practical," she said. "We own a house together. We have our dogs together, and we've been celebrating this journey of life supporting one another for almost five years now. So I don't think a lot is going to change." Hyland also insisted that she was taking planning for the couple's special day "one step at a time" and didn't "really have a lot of time to think about it." "I'm really excited to be able to β on paper, officiallyβ start our family," she added.

Chris Soules was a guest. UGH! Was he with Wells that year? Grocery store Joe Wells knows from BIP. Nick Viall? Evan? Why was Caelynn invited? Didn't see Dean. So many questions. Lol
