Better late than never...
Shrimply Spectacular - In their first individual challenge, the chefs are tasked with creating a shrimp dish worthy of the opening night menu. As further incentive, the winner of the challenge also receives a punishment pass from Chef Ramsay to be able to skip a future punishment. Then, both teams are put to the test as they take on their first dinner service with the most expansive menu the show has ever seen.
Enjoy the show!

Really not liking anyone in the Blue Team so far, way too many big egos. Red Team is surprisingly composed this early on, it was nice to see them bounce back from their mistakes and finish service strong.

Nikki needs to toughen up, she can't be crying every time something goes wrong. Gordon was throwing proteins left and right. Raw shrimp, dirty shrimp, raw lobster, overcooked duck, raw lamb, poorly cooked strip...

Both Nikki and the chef who was eliminated at the end of this episode, seem like they’re deer in the headlights overwhelmed. Snap out of it and get a grip! I cracked up at Wayne Brady watching from the VIP table. Every time Gordon threw a protein, Wayne would say, “was that my lamb” “was that your duck”...Gordon eventually got them their food - which looked amazing btw.

It was also funny when GR was yelling at Elliott and Wayne Brady sayS “I think Elliott needs a hug” 🤣

Yeah, it's often funny when the special guests at the kitchen table are clearly there in hopes to get dinner and a show and then add their own colorful commentary while at it. Wayne was hilarious here, and I remember when Stan Lee did it years ago too.
