The way I understand it, and I almost hate to describe it (but hey it's not MY disgusting habit), he hates the toilet seat. So, next to or near the toilet, he makes a TP pile/nest. After he's done, he disposes of the entire thing. After hearing this, I figure he'd be undiscovered in any hotel/house bathroom during production, because bathrooms are private and because he apparently leaves no evidence. It was discovered when in an office setting, where there are multiple stalls and people can see your feet (or your pile).
I don't think production cares when contestants are just using the bathroom on their own. They might follow and peek in if there are conversations going on, or if someone's throwing up after kissing (didn't that happen on the Olympic version??), but a regular morning visit to the bathroom isn't going to pique their interest.
I also don't get the impression that it's like Big Brother, with cameras and mics everywhere. Lots of it is caught by hand-held cameras because we've seen them on occasion. And once they're on the road, there's only the camera crew - no chance of cameras being in their hotel rooms. Each guy doesn't have a camera on him at all times, especially if he's just hanging out at the hotel while Becca's on a date. I remember last season lots of people were upset that we didn't hear the fit Krystal had in the van after Arie let the other team stay for the after party, because there were no cameras in the van w/them.
So, I'm not surprised that this wasn't caught during the season. I also didn't see the footage of David falling out of bed - did they show it? I remember seeing him being carted off, but not the actual fall.

I hadn't heard or read they caught David falling off his bunk bed. I did read someone heard a noise at night..turned out it was David face down. Maybe that it is it. They had someone on camera talking about seeing him on the ground, the blood, and somebody yelling.

I'd guess the contract specifies that they agree to filming 24/7, but it doesn't state that filming WILL happen 24/7. It's not BB. I don't think there are stationary cameras in the bedrooms - they only film in there if a camera operator physically walks into a bedroom to film. Same with the bathrooms, I'm sure. Really though, since this is the thread about Lincoln, let's get back on the topic. There's definitely plenty to talk about!

If Lincoln is so private about where he goes, how do people know!

From what I read, coworkers saw him do it at work. I guess someone saw a pile of toilet paper and him squatting over it under the door stall? I also heard there were pictures taken, and someone escalated it to the HR dept. I don't know. I don't really want to know.

The mental image of Stinkin' Lincoln hunkering over a pile of toilet paper and letting one plop is more than enough for me, my goodness!!
