I hope this new beach house doesn't mean they're going to make the show more like Love Island since they've been pushing it a lot. The Big Brother house as it is now is memorable to me. I hope the new cast is just a bunch of regular people like it once was.
New beginnings...psh. How about go "old school" and just cast a good group and let them play without the stupid twists and interference.
Exactly! All we need are HoH competitions, PoV competitions and food competitions. And while we're at it, bring back the PB&J because that was much more interesting than slop when the HGs get away with not eating it anyway!
"Alas, pre-production on Big Brother 23 is moving full speed ahead, and a casting producer has now revealed the status of the BB23 casting process. As seen in the tweets included below, casting producer Alex Stern wrote: "My job here is done. That's a wrap on #BB23 casting." Some fans reacted to the tweet as if the entire casting process was done, but Alex later clarified what she meant by her original tweet. "This doesn't mean cast is locked and finalized," Alex explained, "This just means I've done my job and now the powers that be will do theirs."
"With just a month to go until BB23, it makes sense that the lineup of contestants is now significantly narrowed down to a few possibilities, leaving it up to the higher-ups working on the show to have their final say on the cast."
The fans are hoping that BB23 can reenergize a franchise that has been struggling to gain new viewers and to retain certain parts of its devoted audience. It seems like the behind-the-scenes changes are all pointing toward the right direction, but the viewers will only know what works once the season is in full motion.
Here is what Matt and Jess say: "They won’t announce any potential twists, most likely, until the cast for this season is in sequester. Why? They don’t want anyone to get a leg up by doing research or planning in advance. It’s to the producers’ advantage that they surprise the houseguests when they go into the house — which will be shown live this year.
If CBS decides to share information on this season’s twist (which is not always a given), they will likely do so at around the time of the cast reveal — which could be a little over a week before the premiere. It could come in a few different forms: A full-on reveal, a small tease, or simply a notice that we’ll all find out on premiere night. While there are a lot of classic twists with this show like duos, coaches, Battle of the Block, America’s Player, and more, we feel like producers will try to come up with something new."
