I wonder why CBS wasn't happy? I thought Cody and Nicole were two of their pets. They'd have to try really hard to out-suck last year, so I have hope for this season.

Really hoping it's a true rebirth and the HG's are not all twenty somethings.

One more post:
This doesn't bother me. BB handled COVID restrictions excellently last year, so I'll defer to them this time as well.

It's ok with me too. They would get a lot of hints from the audience anyway. Best they don't know anything. Unless it's last season ...in which case I'll take a wall yeller daily Kidding!

I don't even care about the audience anymore, they stopped letting them boo and act naturally so why bother. No wall yellers! They ruin the feeds.

One more post: This doesn't bother me. BB handled COVID restrictions excellently last year, so I'll defer to them this time as well. I'm actually okay with this! Since I'm a big fan of the earlier seasons, I preferred it when they didn't have a live audience (only on finale night) and no it's not because in the 5 years I lived in LA, I was never able to successfully land live tickets to see the show and I'm just a little salty. Hahah, I'm just kidding... . A live audience for a show like this can be too much and CA only just now fully reopened two days ago so maybe CBS just wants to take things slow.

You never know how the cast is really going to be until they get in there and start playing. They can look great on paper and be the most boring, disappointing ass people ever. Interested to see the house, though. Their designs have been hit or miss over the years...

I can't open this susan. It just opens a new page, of the same post. There must be a break in the command. Although I would love to view it if you can manage to tweak it. Thanks! Well I found it, so here is another try at the link: OTEV

Thank you for this! My favorite one is the one from BB7, but mainly because ever since it aired I occasionally remember the part when Janelle kicked James to get the doll and he whined about it in the DR. "The bitch took the doll out of my hand!"

Already with the stupid twists. They just can't help themselves, can they?

I'm cautiously optimistic about the cast, I mean RK wasn't involved so fingers crossed!

I watched Big Brother Canada 9. It was very entertaining, so here are a few things I might see. I won't say anything with Big Brother Canada 9 player names in case anyone hasn't watched it and wants to in the future.
1) very diverse cast----Arisa Cox I think plays a huge hand in the show and made sure that it was very diverse. The casting was wonderful. I find BB Can to be much more of a "slice of life" and more people you can relate to. It's a rarity where there's a contestant I really can't stand on Big Brother Canada; it's the reverse of Big Brother US in that regard. The casting of women is way better, too. I feel like there are regular people and not those who strive to be instagram stars or influencers.
2) interesting twists that keep the show fresh, like someone could make a decision at the eviction episode that impacted the outcome, and it was so cool when there was an "anonymous HOH" where someone won, but they all competed separately so no one knew... until the person made it evident. Also, there was a whole week that was a fake double eviction where two people went but competed against each other to get back in the show.
Sorry, I am struggling to think of more, but I remember I really liked the way it felt so fresh and had cool twists.

Those are cool twists that I would like to see included in the US. Thanks for reviewing for us julief!

I normally think the twists are silly, but this one seems kinda cool as long as it's just for the one week. I don't recall it ever being done before and it would definitely throw the others for a loop as long as production doesn't get too involved in it.
