Wow! I remember some of these people! Ruthie? She's the one who got in the car when she was drunk and started driving.
I wonder what Trishelle looks like now, I always thought she was stunning.
I wish they would release these episodes again.

I wish they would release these episodes again. OMGosh, Ruthie was a hot mess and I hope she got her drinking under control. What I really liked about her is for someone so small and thin she was an outstanding athlete and very fast. Alton, another outstanding athlete but full of attitude. Trishelle, well there is a reason her nickname was Trashelle. Aneesa, OMG well at least she has experience with the more recent Challenge format. How much do you want to bet she gets no respect with this crew and can't beat them in a finale?

Landon was a beast as a competitor. I would have liked to see him more often. Not looking forward to seeing Jemmye though, lol She was a lot more 'skilled' at starting drama than doing well on the challenges.

Hopefully they will be able to find room to cut back Ridiculousness to 21 hours for one of the days of the week.

This is going to air on MTV eventually right? Or aren't they sure yet where it will air? Yes OK. Here's an update on that. Filming for this season has ended. However, it looks like this wont be airing on MTV as previously specualted. It's going to air on Paramount Plus (formerly known as "CBS All Access") a streaming service. You'll have to subscribe to this in order to see it.

I already pay over 200 a month for cable & internet and in addition to Amazon Prime and Hulu and now I have to pay more??? Streaming services are going to kill cable.

Think Aneesa will have a chance to win? After all she will be competing against a cast the same age as herself. Naaaaaah. Not a chance.

Seriously, laughing out loud during the daily challenge. Tec comments were hilarious.
The first episode is so good. It is a great blend of the old school challenge and no Skulls. There was partying and an elimination. They did a 90's Party.
This series will be 9 episodes long and I already like it better than Double Agents. An episode will drop every week. To get it for free I would wait unit at least episode 5 and get the free one month trial from Paramount +.
I was under the impression that the episodes would be available online but that does not seem to be true unless someone posts it to YouTube and you don't know how long that will stay up.

Season 1 Episode 1 - "Legends Never Die" - April 1, 2021
Best quote: Laterrian saying "What's Pole Wrestle" when TJ announces the Arena Game. Guess they never had it when he was on.
Must say I didn't know some of the faces. Many looked very much like their before and after cast photos.
Most impressed: Jisela. I was not expecting much, especially with her mom bod but she stepped it up big time during the Deep Blue Dive.
Overall had a very nice feel to the episode. Reminiscent to the old school challenges but with the brutally of the new school.
The cold water really created problems.
Surprise: Aneesa can swim and actually dived down to the boxes.
Not a surprise: Aneesa couldn't release the box and didn't try again.
Aneesa was asked about working out during this challenge on a podcast previewing this show, and she said they all were so tired from the challenges and the partying the only people that worked out were Mark Long, Darrell, and a third person who I can't remember. Well, this narrows the field for potential winners.

Season 1 Episode 2 - "All That You Can't Leave Behind" - April 8, 2021 Wow, TJ can cackle like a mad hyena.
Weird moment: Kendal not knowing if she should be there. Weird moment: Kendal hoping over the boards and not falling to the water and TJ not doing anything about it. Weird moment: Kendal's explanation about the moment before everyone votes her into the Arena for elimination.
Broken: Trishelle and Katie's 17 year friendship. Seriously the game turns people into raving lunatics and it worked fast on Trishelle.

Season 1 Episode 3 - "I’ve Got The Power" - April 15, 2021
I have been watching some of the older seasons and have noticed that many of the players are incredibly stubborn and want to play a clean game, let the good, deserving people win, not make any deals. I have seen this behavior on both The Challenge and Survivor, however both these games are social, political, mental, and physical. It took years but the current Survivor players get it and understand that there is manipulation, lying, as well as the physical portions to the game and in fact now award good gamesmanship. The Challenge contestants either get it or they simply do not and will not ever get it. In this episode Nehemiah had a moment of self awareness that he needed political help in the game and connects with Jemmye. Good move Nehemiah. Ruthie on the other hand gets upset with some players conduct and after a conversation with Arissa makes the "hope the good guys win this time comment". Later she yells at Aneesa and one of the issues is about something that happened 15 to 20 years ago. Wow. In the game not in real life.
I do hate/dislike that Aneesa does and always has holds herself up as some kind of wise elder in this game. Folks say she is a fan favorite. Really? Why? TJ Lavin thinks she is great but he only sees her in eliminations where she does put on a good show.
On to the episode.
Luv'ed watching some old challenge games come back. I was laughing so hard watching the teams try to melt blocks of ice with their bodies. I think Darrell actually urinated one of the blocks.
Luv how a person's actions can make them a target and an easy vote into the elimination. Teck talking smack about Nehemiah after the daily challenge made it easy for everyone.
Overall an enjoyable episode.

How are people like Jemye on a show about all stars? She was always a below average challenger.

How are people like Jemye on a show about all stars? She was always a below average challenger. Jemmye has a lot of followers, she is very good with all the MTV fans and so folks like to see her on the show. It's interesting to listen to the Challenge blogs and such as I am picking up a lot of tidbits like that. The Challenge was trying to make Jenna a face of the franchise but the girl didn't get the memo and doesn't engage with the fans like Jemmye does. Also for some reason whenever Jemmye comments on twitter about Jenna and Zach relationship, Zach goes way overboard and really trashes Jemmye and it gets picked up by the pop culture news and ends up on reddit which notifies fans with popup notices. Some of the feuds may be generated by the players themselves. Lolo Jones is famous for responding to some tweet from Ashley Mitchell a couple of weeks ago that went viral very quickly had had a lot of folks responding. Getting back to Jemmye, on her Instagram she supposedly has been going to cross fit and working out just to get ready for the challenge. Also Jemmye makes good comments in her confessionals, she is strategic, and she has made power moves other would never do. Not the complete package but many are not. As an added note, I personally can't stand Jemmye and must agree with you about the waste of a space for a decent challenger. Then I read all this stuff about her on various articles about how good she is with the fans. She also is never afraid to get into a twitter fight with Zach and Jenna. But it is always her commenting how Zach is not good enough for Jenna and Zach horribly trashing Jenna and then Jenna defending Zach. I also checked out Jemmye's Instagram page. I do not find Jemmye physically attractive. I never liked Jemmye and Knight as they came across as drunks and drug users and looked sloppy and that partying was the most important part of their lives. Jemmye does pose a lot of pin up type photos of herself and she claims that she is working out at a cross fit facility to help her in the challenge house. So basically a mess of a person who was exactly who they cast for The Real World. I have been watching Battle of the Seasons and Jemmye actually looks good there.

Season 1 Episode 4 - "Semi-Charmed Lifesaver" - April 22, 2021
I am enjoying the challenge games. I like they are a throwback to old challenges, I like that they are teams, I like that the teams are randomly selected, and that there were not enough men and Darrell had to go twice for two different teams.
Arissa is a cannabis chef.
Arissa did a total mental F YOU to the cast for voting her in and quite the game.
Luv'ed TJ not wishing her well and "hope to see you never" comment.
Beth was genuinely concerned about going into an elimination but it was not a head banger but it was physical. Both Arissa and Beth had a good chance of coming back. For it being 10, 15, and 20 years since some of the Vets have been in a competition and have gone on with their lives, Arissa's behavior was wacky to say the least.
