So why wouldn't she apply through normal channels, why does she deserve preferential treatment, she doesn't.. My comment doesn't have anything to do with why she should get preferential treatment. (She shouldn't.) I was responding to the comment saying that Matt seemed to know Heather, so why was she saying that they had never met. (I probably should have quoted the text I was responding to. That would have made my comment less confusing.) EDITED TO ADD: Personally, I think the producers took advantage of Heather. They likely invited her to come (or at least knew she was coming). No one just drops by uninvited. It doesn't work that way. So they brought her in late, gave her hope that it would be a good idea, and then totally made her the butt of a joke and fodder for more bullying. Not nice at all! I really wasn't aiming it at you, just the stupid show, and the fact that 'friends ' get a pass, and are encouraged to just pop in, like it was their idea. Nobody believes it anymore.

This whole phony attitude that Heather just showed up without Chris or anyone else knowing about it is a bunch of bunk. I call bullsh*t! This whole resort was locked down & reserved for the show. I would assume there was a ton of security everywhere, especially any entrances. Even the people they brought in had to be invited by the show & quarantined for at least a week-10 days at the show's expense. Why would they even try to pretend that Heather wasn't planned, invited, and known?
Plus contrary to his "Who me" attitude, Chris Harrison knows everything that's going on & everything that's planned. The whole Heather bit is so phony it reeks.

It doesn't matter to me what is staged and what just happens organically. I just want to be entertained and I am, so it's all good.
Matt delivers in the emotional intelligence department. He's a little goofy when he gets behind the wheel, not sure I trust him there, lol, but otherwise, I think he's a levelheaded, kind soul.

I think we all know most of it is staged , and a lot of people are entertained. For me , it's too much like hard work watching it , cuddles. Enjoy the rest of the season.

I can roll my eyes and take the really staged for what it is and love the rest of it. I too think Matt is a good guy and I'm pulling for him. I've enjoyed his season so far.
