Season 2 will be coming this summer! Designer Jeremy Scott and "model" Winnie Harlow will be the main judges, and will be filmed primarily in L.A.. Personally, I despise Winnie Harlow but I am excited about more "Making the Cut" because while it had some hiccups I really enjoyed Season 1. They're also going to have an international cast again, which is good.
I have mixed feelings about this one. I really enjoyed watching the competitors, but I can't stand Heidi. Seeing her on this show last year really gave me a taste of what a horrid human being she is. Not likeable at all. I love Tim, but I just want her to go away. I'll probably still watch in spite of her, but UGH!!!
I was so excited when I first saw this announcement. I was thinking it was the show with Tan France and the model whose name I am blanking on. I loved that show!
Seeking form amidst the void.
But if that's not possible, gimme a Margarita...shaken, not stirred...and hold the salt, please.
FIT is doing really good; they have 2 graduates of the program on the show this year. I'm mostly intrigued by the bridal designer for unrepresented people (Andrea Pitter), the Indian designer who started out by redesigning his dad's clothes from the 60s and 70s (Dushyant Asthana) and the Parisian designer whose work is a mix of Parisian, Korean, and Vietnamese influences (Lucie Brochard). The rest of the designers sound great too; it's interesting how many artists now use fashion as a medium and I'm also curious about their work as well. This season sounds like it will be really good.
