Fessy is the worst, and here I am starting to like Josh? I hope Fessy gets kicked off for shoving Josh, but since this is MTV I doubt that they will... Well this episode was shorted 30 minutes and next weeks episode is also 60 minutes long instead of the usual 90 minutes and it is also opposite the Survivor 41 premiere, so here is to hoping for a big surprise and shakeup. Kyle mentioned in an podcast he had done with Bananas on The Ringer (see Spotify or google it) that the first half the Challenge was like a vacation because of the Vet Alliance picking off the rookies. It got nasty after all the rookie/rookie teams were eliminated.

Yeah, it seemed so easy when the rookies started volunteering! I'm here for the nasty too.

I replayed this too many times. Nelson ate the cheese pizza. I did see someone shoving a piece of pizza into Fessy's face during the fight. What is hilarious is that Cory and Nelson are getting their revenge on Fessy and Fessy is clueless.

OMG!!! Fessy booted from The Challenge! I kept waiting for TJ to say they’d decided to give Fessy one more chance. I was shocked and so pleasantly surprised that TJ meant what he said… bye bye Fessy

Episode 7 - "Uncle CT" - September 22, 20211 CliffhangerResolution:
Fessy is DQ'ed. Josh is scolded by TJ. Esther is scolded by TJ.
I thought it was a stupid idea to split the entire Fessy and Josh fight between episodes 6 and 7.
Luv that Emy won and stole CT.
I would have been happy with Fessy, Josh and Esther being DQ'ed as I have seen much, much, much worst behavior on this show and nothing was done.
I personally feel that instigating the fight between Fessy and Amber by Cory and Tori was a brilliant strategic move that managed to eliminate a huge physical threat in the Challenge. No one wants to see Fessy in the final. No one wants to go into elimination with Fessy. However no one has seen Fessy in a non physical elimination and no one knows how he would perform in that venue. I do believe both Cory and Nelson are snickering behind their hands that Fessy got eliminated. Revenge served cold and calculatedly. Bravo.
I do not feel a speck of sympathy for Fessy. He needs to quit saying he lost a million dollars, not once but twice. First of all he never had ownership of a million dollars. He was in a final and had a good chance at winning half that amount. Fessy is very lucky he made it to a final in the first two challenges he was in. Bananas didn't win until his 4th challenge. Fessy's strategic and social game suck and ultimately he set the stage to PizzaGate by throwing in Amber into an elimination way too soon and then not doing any damage control. Even now listening to various podcasts Amber is still so naive that she is willing to forgive Fessy his behavior because he has grown.

Lol. I read an interview with Fessy and he kept referring to 'touching Josh's face'. Which is a lot different from him actually shoving Josh's face away. Totally different. Tons of excuses, very self-centered. So no Amber, he has not grown.
I would have been so sad if Emy lost and left, she is a hoot, and can't wait to see her compete with CT.

Johnny Bananas has started a podcast on The Ringer and he just had Fessy on as a guest. They talked about the entire Amber incident and what was absolutely fascinating about the interview is that Bananas basically gave Fessy a Master Class of how to have properly have handled the entire situation and OMG, Fessy is going yeah, but I did that. So over the head. Fessy also can't hold a conversation, he talks like a rapper. Every other work out of his mouth is S*** and Like. Vapid and not smart come to mind as descriptors. You can tell there are folks the producers want to make the face of the Challenge, Jenna, Tori, but seriously some of these folks are just dumb. Bananas, Wes, CT, Aneesa are cagey about the TV production and have some type of brain. As much as I don't particularly like Kaycee she is at least strategic. I can't see her as the face of the challenge because she is boring and has no charisma. Jenna has no brain. Tori does not see the over all picture and is turning into Aneesa 2.0. Nelson is dumb as dirt. Cory is getting a bit cagey but when do I ever see him doing math or puzzles. The new people don't stay long enough to make you invested in their story arcs. I am liking Emy at lot. What is Berna's problem with Amber? Liked Esther but again why hate on Amber? Oh, I heard her Instagram account was shut down from all the backslash she got from dissing Amber. In the latest interview, Bananas is talking to Amber B herself and going over the entire situation and again he is giving Amber a Master Class of what to do. He is showing all the points of why Fessy can't be trusted and Amber is going on and on of how he has changed. She totally does not get it, another Over the Head moment. She is way too trusting and naïve. Fessy does what a lot of interviewers do they try to change the narrative and make it someone else's fault. He does it time and time again and he takes absolutely no responsibility for his actions. Or if he does say he is sorry it is only to appear PC. Actions speak louder than words.

Exactly! Fessy does not take responsibility for his actions. I don't know why people have an issue with Amber, she seems very nice and if she's telling Bananas that Fessy has changed, certainly naive. I mean, she has already been burned twice by trusting him...

Episode 8 - "The Threat" - September 29, 2021
Partner Infiltration: Priscilla steals Josh (Ashley)
Partner Infiltration: Jeremiah steals Tori (Ed)
Infiltrated Partners: Ed (Tori) & Ashley (Josh)
Left Behind Partners: Big T (Jeremiah) & Nelson (Priscilla)
Booty Call Lost: Nelson lost Berna note: how long before the horn dog goes after Ashley?
Seriously, why is Ashley mad she traded up getting Ed over Josh?
There were only two choices Priscilla could have made and that was either taking Kyle or taking Josh as Kyle and Amanda and Josh and Ashley were the only two vet vet teams left. Effectively breaking up the rookie rookie made teams that the vets were using to disseminate the rookies. Josh has better political game and social connections, so Priscilla picked him.
Now the fun begins where the vets turn on each other with 10 teams left with 8 rookie vet pairs. There are two vet vet teams with Big T & Nelson and Amanda & Kyle.
Looks as if Devin is turning the focus on the remaining champions and those are Amber B, Ashley, and CT. In the previews they only show images of Ashley and CT, I guess the remaining vets don't consider Amber a big threat compared to Ashley and CT.
Hope someone thinks to breakup Kaycee and Emanuel.
Liking Priscilla very much would like to see her fun a final.
What Bettina talks.
Dumbest move ever: Amber volunteering to go into elimination. She really thinks she is this bad ass challenge champion. Uh, no, Amber was extremely lucky her first season.

I think I would like to see Ashley vs Amber in elimination. The Mouth vs Ego.
I would like to see Amanda vs Ashley in elimination. Mouth vs Mouth.
I would like to see the Emmanuel and Kaycee be broken up.
If and only if by some miracle these two make it, I would like to see Amber and Cory partnered up in a final with either a puzzle or math problem on each leg. That would be too funny. Or Josh and Amber. That is just so mean.

Someone noted that in the Challenge and other games where the teams are partnered with one female and one male if the team does well it is all the males doing, if the team does poorly the female is at fault. I have seen them do this for years on the Challenge and on Survivor. I remember when on Survivor in the final Tribal Council if it was a male vs female, the woman was always considered a coattail rider, that the only reason she won is because the cast hated the male so much. Remember Russel Hantz, and I am sure that is exactly how Michaela felt. However after watching Michaela this season my eyes have been opened. I must admit I too was at times dismissive of the females and I always appreciated the physically stronger females. I also did appreciated Devin Simone being able to politic her way into the final. It is part of the game and is always underappreciated.
Well I have been re watching the previous episode and noted that Jeremiah stated during the Dive Bomb Daily Challenge/Mission that he needs to stop loosing missions he needs to win. Acting as if Big T is this anchor around his neck. This is a water challenge right up Big T's alley. She is not the one who could not find the puzzle pieces. Was that on purpose Jeremiah? And what idiot chose Big T to climb a rope to get a key? Two huge glaring mistakes. Big T also mentioned that Jeremiah will not take the lead in a mission and someone has to tell him what to do. That does not bode well to doing well in a final. A majority of males make the same mistake in both the Challenge and Survivor, their strategy is to physically dominant the game. That is very hard to do for the 39 days on Survivor and the 8 weeks of filming on the Challenge. Good Luck with that.
Well the conclusion is that a good female partner is essential to doing well on missions, she is never given the credit for the win.

Speaking of Bananas, he cheated on Morgan Willett so after 2 years together she dumped his ass. That man really can't keep it in his pants. Really? Links? I thought they were living together? I also didn't realize he is 12 years old than she is. Bananas is 39, Morgan is 27, they met two years ago so that would have been a 37 year old man dating a 25 year old year. That is a bit of a gap. But it is also telling at 39 Bananas does not look as if he is settling down and is only interested in his career. He has made the jump to TV and just started podcasting.

The Challenge's Morgan Willett Says Person She 'Loved' Cheated on Her amid Johnny Bananas SplitI can't find it right now but about a week before the split there was a photo circulating on Twitter of Bananas at a bar looking chummy with another girl. So not sure if that has anything to do with the split. Seems like she found something out and broke up with him then went on her planned trip with her family. He was posting everyday as if nothing happened but also liking all her photos. From what the cast has always said about Bananas over the years, he has cheated on every one of his girlfriends so of course they aren't surprised. He apparently told Morgan that he wouldn't continue to date her if she did reality tv again so that's why she hasn't appeared on MTV since she met him. She looked in love so I feel bad for her or any girl that gets treated like that.

Episode 9 - "The War" - October 6, 2021
Happy Bettina and Cory won.
Not sad that Amber and Jeremiah left. Won't miss them if they never come back. Both will just vanish from my memory very easily.
This franchise does need new faces, and this season has been successful finding those new faces in Priscilla, Esther, Emy, Hughie, and Ed.
Luv'ed that Bettina took control of the elimination else it would have been a very long night waiting for Jeremiah, Amber or Cory to solve the puzzle.
Tori mentioned on the Official MTV Challenge podcast the season gets really exciting from this point on.

Epiosde 10 - "Precious Stones" - October 13, 2021 Luv the twist in the game were all the players duplicate the beginning of the season and end up on three different teams. I do think production had a hand in the numbers as each team of six had three men and three women.
Emerald Cell: Devin + Josh + Emanuel + Kaycee + Nany + Tori
Sapphire Cell: CT + Nelson + Ed + Ashley + Amanda + Bettina
Ruby Cell: Cory + Kyle + Logan + Priscilla + Big T + Emy
Overall first impressions are that Emerald has the strongest team. There are original allies from the beginning of this season. Someone needs to break up that team. They have a good balance of strength and brains and puzzle skills.
Sapphire would be second place in my mind but you have two Champs with CT and Ashley, you have puzzle royalty in CT and Ashley, Ed is smart and an unknown but his good for team morale. The rest are decent workhorses. The reason I put Sapphire in second place was that Emerald has basically been together since the beginning of the season.
Ruby is not jelling as a team. They don't have a clear leader or brain. No one is a puzzle person. I would say all have heart, but they need to work together.
I listened to this weeks MTV Official podcast and one of the Challenge Executive Producers was the guest, he dropped a huge hint that the next 4 episodes would be amazing.
I was listening/watching Angelcake Entertainments podcast on YouTube about the midseason teaser and he was able to screen shots that show there is movement of players among the different cells. That should make life very exciting.

The new version of Lavender Ladies are irritating me. Or maybe its just Tori. I have been watching episodes of Dirty 30 and it is so funny to see Tori and her being not friends with Aneesa and complaining about her politics. In one sense I do like that Cory wants to play the game and wants to strategize. He is getting better at it. He is getting smarter at it. But he is not there yet. He needs to partner with someone hopefully new that can help in the game. Tori's game play should be Messy Tori. However she is loyal to her BB Alliance but there is a certain point in the game they all need to get rid of Kaycee and does Tori have the nerve/guts/balls to do so. There are times in the game you need to make a hard decision.

He needs to partner with someone hopefully new that can help in the game. Agreed. I feel like when he started, he had no choice but to rely on himself. They wanted him out for back to back seasons. When he did form relationships, it was with other underdogs, so they all got picked off. He has made 4 finals but no wins so he is capable of doing it on his own so maybe that's why he doesn't politic like he should. Seems like Fessy drama was the last straw on allowing himself to trust people. He strikes me as someone that is done with the fake BS knowing they all lie and he is at the bottom of the totem pole so he does his own thing. Similar to the way CT has been playing (well up until this season which I have separate thoughts about). But Cory ain't no CT.

Episode 11 - "Mucus Plug" - October 20, 2021
Well, due to Kyle not taking the Leap of Faith in the daily challenge Ruby does not win. This is not the first time Kyle has not followed directions when it comes to playing a game. Is this on purpose or not?
I like Ed, he is such a refreshing personality to come into the Challenge House. In one sense he made a game move for potentially coming back and having a reputation for loyalty. However, his best move would have been to go against Logan in the elimination. Logan is a bit of non-personality for me if he never was called back and you asked me next season who he was I don't think I would remember him.
I think also to call Kyle the Pole Wrestle King is a bit much as his overall elimination record had more losses then wins. It's like calling Aneesa the Elimination Queen when their are ladies with much better records.
Overall the season is heating up and the vets are preparing to devour themselves. Emerald Cell will not win every daily, it will be broken up. I so do want Emmanuel, Nany, and Kaycee to be ripped apart from each other.

It is all I can see. If you have a chance to binge I recommend it. It is almost two different seasons now that most of the rookies have self scarified to the Challenge Gods. Casting found some great personalities that I hope get invited back. Some I don't even remember. Don't forget All Stars starts streaming on Paramount + November 11. Note: Half the reason I like Nany so much is her smile, imagine my shock when I found out she had some kind of clip on veneers, and Kyles teeth are not his and I also herad that Hughie (new rookie this season) was in Turkey to get new teeth. Hughie's story line was that he wanted to win the Challenge so he can have a baby, but I thought if you don't spend all of this money on Brazilian butt lifts, hair plugs, and new teeth, you can have a baby.

I have never even heard of clip-on veneers. Kyle's teeth look so unnatural. I had no idea about Hughie! He got a Brazillian butt lift? To me, that is a total waste of money, plus, his butt was the thing that held him back on one of the challenges!
