Tyler should probably try to get in better shape before he comes back next time. This past episode seemed so staged with the next morning hallmark channel conversation with Nehemiah and Brad, and Casey finding out her pregnancy right before the elimination. That's messed up that Cohutta had to leave. Couldn't they have brought in one of the replacements to be his partner, or was it too late in the season? Totally agree but then I tried to imagine Cohutta partnered with Ayanna? What a mess. Jodi mentioned on the Official MTV Challenge podcast that Ayanna is the most difficult person she has ever roomed with.

FYI: ew.com/tv/recaps/the-challenge-all-stars-season-2-episode-8/There are a lot of rumbles from the cast about how difficult Ayanna is to live with. The woman has no social or political sense and was giving Jodi the literal finger by describing how she ate the Greek Salad. Arguing with Jasmine does not help. Arguing with an alliance member in the middle of a challenge does not help and is incredibly stupid. Overall the episode was fun. Glad to see MJ and Jonna win instead of Brad and Jodi. Aha, Jodi does have a weakness when it comes to memory puzzles. Brad is too cocky. But Nehemiah puts the cockiness and social political unawareness on another level by claiming the Kings Palace are all mature adults yet tells Jonna to leave the room because she voted him in. Dude you didn't even have to do an elimination. You were saved by Fate/positive pregnancy test show some grace and sportsmanship.

Episode 8 - "(You Drive Me) Crazy" - December 30, 2021
I really like these mini finals. Everyone did it there were no tragic fails. But it does show how hard they can be.
Who has been in a final? Brad, MJ, Darrell, Jonna, Jodi, Jenelle, Nehemiah.
Who has not been in a final? Melinda, Teck, Ayanna.

It was on like the 3rd season of the challenge back in 2000 (the only season he ever did prior to All Stars) where there were no eliminations lol

But the current finales are way harder and he has Ayanna as a partner, that will be a huge anchor.

The only way the season can be really flipped is if Nehemiah and Melinda win the next challenge, give Teck and Ayanna their Life Shields or Teck and Ayanna win the daily challenge and Nehemiah and Melinda are safe.
I just hope that Brad and Jodi do not win because I can see him sending in MJ and Jonna against Tech and Ayanna. Brad gets really cocky so I would rather see him in elimination.
It looks like they are going to have 4 teams in the finale I wish they would have had the 6 teams or the 5 teams and maybe a purge that is more fun.

Episode 9 - "Break Stuff" - January 6, 2022
"Hulk, Smash" or "Brad, Smash" should have been the episode title.
Really Brad! A school teacher who does not listen to instructions and tears off the top of boxes instead of unknotting knots?
I was surprised at how frazzled Jodi was during the daily challenge? That was the first sign of weakness I have seen from her.
I am amazed Jodi did not have a concussion from the two pieces of concrete that Brad tossed through the hole and hit her in the head, thankfully she was wearing a helmet.
Every episode Nehemiah says something so stupid, so insensitive, so cocky, that it just irritates me. Who made him the moral police? In the Challenge, like Survivor that are several ways to get to the final, for Nehemiah to state that MJ and Jonna skated to the final without going into elimination is disgusting. There is no one way to do things on this show. Johnny Bananas has built a successful Challenge career by not going into elimination and getting to the final an winning. Winning an elimination is not a guarantee that you are winning a final. In previous Challenge seasons Nehemiah has spoken about what is fair and unfair about the challenge and how cast members maneuver through out the game. The Challenge like Survivor changes each season, the players that do the best are the ones that are the most adaptable. Even, Darrell made a pointed comment about how Jonna and MJ will brownnose (which is what they do best per Darrell) their way out of elimination. Well, Darrell, whose fault is it if they aren't social or political? So don't belittle someone for a skill you don't have.
Will Darrell and Janelle have a disadvantage because they did not have any rest as per TJ the final started right after Brad and Jodi were left the Arena?

Episode 10 - "It Takes Two" - January 13, 2022
I am very happy with the winner.
Some Sage Advice to all Challenge Players: Read the Clue/Instructions. They are there for a reason.
The Final included sleep deprivation, lots of endurance, memorization, puzzles, math, and eating weird food with lots of heat and humidity thrown in.

There have been a lot of talk especially after Janelle's interveiw on the podcast Challenge Mania about the tweets/manipulation that production did during the final and the final editing of the final that eliminated scenes and misled the viewers what teams were in the lead after various legs.
I thorough enjoy the Challenge and have been watching for years. There have always been rumors as to what actually happen vs what was aired. This newest scandal/mess just reopens all those previous accusations.
Production clearly messed up and needs to come clean and needs to be bit less manipulative. The players provide enough drama it does not need to be engineered. People are racing for $500,000 in the jungle with heat and humidity, with little food and sleep. If the finale could not be fit into a 44 minute episode make the episode longer, or make another episode. I think it really hurt the show when producers no longer let the viewers know how long it was taking players to complete each leg. Also if a team wins an advantage from how they finished in a leg show it.
