9/7 - Bachelor In Paradise Episode 7

This VIP party is a total production set up.

Karma Jessenia. You dumped sweet Ivan for fresh meat and now it's your turn.

Noah I like you dude, but Jessenia and Chris were hardly one of the strongest relationships on the beach. They have been together like a couple of days. Big deal.

Exactly! I keep thinking of that too ... "what about what YOU did to Ivan??"  We must have missed something. 

I don't know this girl, Alana, I don't know Chris, and don't care about either of them. I liked Jessenia, and still feel for her, but this is just dumb drama we don't even need to see.

OK. They are having this conversation as if they didn't just have this whole set up conversation about Brendan and Piper yesterday.

OMG. Chris and this girl are trying to kiss and they are so awkward. She tells him he needs to assume the dominant position and then positions him. Hmmm.... Somehow I don't think this relationship will go far either.

Becca why do you want to hang on to Aaron? He seems so immature. Sweet, but not old enough for you. Not that there is anyone really there for you.

Becca handled this very well. She wanted to ask Thomas and asked Tammy first. She was very upfront with him as well. I like that she is keeping an open mind about him. I don't for a minute think she didn't know much about him since she has a Bachelor podcast and gets all the dirt. Of course, she also knows how this show is edited so doesn't trust the edit.

Tammy is drunk and ugly crying.

This confrontation with Chris, telling him to GTFO because of using Jessenia to stay on the show, is exactly what should have also happened with Brendan and Pieper! If I were Natasha, I'd feel slighted that people didn't demand Brendan's exit!

Alana is apparently a b*tch too. He tries to get in her car and she is like no.

Natasha is finally...why is nobody calling out Brendan for this when they just called out Chris?

About time

There was no rose ceremony, but they bullied Chris and Alana to the point that they left on their own. Chris actually tried to get her to leave with him, but she shot him down and wanted to stay. Since everyone was so nasty, she realized that nobody was probably going to even talk to her so she left all p*ssed off at them and at him. It takes two babe. You were just as responsible for making out with him at the VIP party in front of Jessenia and sticking your tongues down each others throats.

There was a VIP party where they had half of some of the couples...Demi and Kenny were there but Mari was freaking out back on the beach. Thomas was there but Tammy wasn't. He talked to Becca there. Riley was there but Maurissa was back at the beach. Four new women showed up at the party and two of them...Chelsea and Alana...made it to the beach.

Mari talked Kenny into giving her another chance even though he doesn't fully trust her intentions. This naturally set off Demi. (Check out some of my earlier posts. They cover it pretty well.)

Chelsea asked Aaron on a date and they went horse back riding. They got along well, but I didn't really see it.

Becca got a date card and only wanted to ask Thomas since they had talked at the party. She first talked to Tammy and asked if she was ok with that. She was very classy about it and then asked Thomas. They seemed to have good date. Dinner and some dancing. 

Alana asked Chris and Jessenia was pissed. They were making out, but I think he was more into her than she was into him. She basically told him to be more manly! Everyone thought it was shades of Brendon and Piper all over again, but they were even nastier this time and basically told them to leave. It was OTT in my opinion. 

You might still be able to watch it. They replay the episodes in my area or on ABC.

Well, another week with no Rose Ceremony. How many have we had so far? I think only 2, but it seems like the show has been on for a month or so.
What a bunch of self important, self righteous, judgmental people. So some of them treated their 1st attraction rotten. That's how this show works. They all knew this when they signed up for it. That doesn't make any of them any less rotten, but that's to be expected. Running Chris, Alana off, or maybe doing the same with Brendan/Pieper isn't anyone else's place. This cast is overstepping their bounds.
How about Jessenia? She did the same to Ivan.
How about Maurissa? She did the same to Noah. Even worse because she not only dated Riley, but went straight to the Boom-Boom room & went at it with him.
For that matter, Brendan & Pieper are still there too.
Why are these people exempt? Is it just because they suck up to the "right people"?
A bunch of hypocrites. That's what they all are.

Anyhow, this episode at least had a lot going on. It featured a lot of people.
I don't know the new host, but he seemed fun. I liked him, but I think this was the last we'll see of him.

Something about Becca being there just isn't sitting right with me. Kind of like the Queen slumming with her subjects.
I'm trying to keep an open mind about her. She really hasn't done anything awful or mean or snooty or anything. It's just the way it looks.

Demi is like a rock inside your shoe. A major pain, but you sometimes just can't get rid of it & have to live with it.

Next week we go back to one show a week. Maybe that means the filler episodes like last night will get skipped. Wishful thinking.
Maybe we'll actually get a Rose Ceremony, but then again, maybe we won't.

I used to enjoy this show a lot more than I do now. 
It used to be a chance for the franchise losers to get a free vacation & for us to see their personalities as they are in real life. Much more natural & therefore much more amusing.
But now it's become all about Social Media & "followers". They even repeatedly talk about this on the show.

I'm not a big Social Media person as it seems it's used now. 
I don't use Instagram, Twitter, or whatever they're using now. I'm on Facebook, but only with people I really do know, not random pretend "friends". I'm on a couple of boards like this one, but that's it.
I absolutely don't "follow" anyone at all, and have no intention of doing so. These people aren't my friends & I don't give a darn what they do or say after their show is over.
I see them as phonies & freeloaders, trying to get a free ride without working. Not someone I want to keep in touch with in any way.

I hope this trend wears out soon, but I doubt it. As long as a freeloader can make money without working they will. 
How the heck do they make money from this anyhow? Do people pay them for "following" them?

Anyhow, this is putting me off this show & others. I don't want to hear about how "popular" they are. This isn't something I'm at all interested in.
It's ruining the show(s) for me.
