Wow, there is no escaping who her mom is with this pic. She really, and I mean REALLY, looks like a Mini-Lori.

She is identical to her mom and I'm not sure if she qualifies as a star but it's cool she's on the show. I hope the backlash of what her mom did doesn't come back to her this season.

Well that write-up really glosses over the scandal, doesn't it? After a 2 year hiatus.... I guess this is her redemption tour!

I’m boycotting the season because of her. Maybe I’ll watch once she’s eliminated. Why are we glorifying cheaters?

I’m boycotting the season because of her. Maybe I’ll watch once she’s eliminated. Why are we glorifying cheaters? I'm kind of conflicted about the situation. I know she was a minor when her parents did what they did, but I also believe she HAD to know what they were doing. I mean, why else would your parents have you pose on a rowing machine? Also, I think she acted like a spoiled brat on her Insta.
BUT.....I also think a HUGE part of the blame lies with her parents; blame for the school admissions scandal AND blame for raising a kid who was so spoiled and entitled. For that last part, I do feel sorry for Olivia. Her parents raised her to value her looks and to NOT value her education. That's not her fault. Now that she's an adult though, what she does and how she behaves is on her. So far, she's shown that she can work hard. We know that Val is a pretty tough teacher (not as tough as his brother, but still) and I don't think he'd put up with her being lazy or entitled.
Olivia's not going to win, but maybe seeing that actually working hard and being responsible brings its own rewards will help Olivia moving forward. As far as her parents? I couldn't care less what happens to them. Instead of teaching their daughters to value their education and to apply themselves, they decided to cheat the system. I have zero sympathy. They're terrible parents. I say this as someone who was a fan of LL from when she was The Edge of Night a million years ago.

She does look exactly like her mom. I hadn't seen the resemblance in picture in the past, but seeing her in "real life" on the show, the resemblance in uncanny.
I'm willing to give her a little bit of grace since she was still fairly young and raised to think the world owed her. But her decidedly ungraceful behavior during the scandal--the way she acted so bratty about how her parents had ruined her life when she knew damn well what they had done and hadn't refused to cooperate with it--left a bad taste in my mouth.
I'm willing to give some grace, like I said, but she has a lot to prove where I'm concerned.

A lot of dancers say this but then come back, so we'll see... ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Two-Time Winner Val Chmerkovskiy Says This Is “Probably” His Last Season - Deadline By Bruce Haring November 10, 2021 7:36pm Val Chmerkovskiy, a longtime pro contestant on Dancing with the Stars, says this is “probably” his last season on the show. Chmerkovskiy and dancing partner Olivia Jade were recently eliminated from the show during its Week 8. He is a two-time Mirror Ball champion, winning in 2015 with Rumer Willis and in 2016 with Laurie Hernandez. He told ET‘s Lauren Zima, “I’ve always been very clear about coming back on the show. I love the show. I love being on it. I am so grateful for the opportunity, is this my last season? Probably. Probably. I have no regrets about my tenure on the show. I have no regrets about the season. I couldn’t have asked for a better partner to end it with.” But Chmerkovskiy left the door open a crack to his return. “Life is dynamic. There’s no burned bridges, there’s nothing but gratitude, again, with the production, with the show,” he said. “I hope I’ve served the show and this show has definitely changed my life, so it’s mutually love and we’ll see what happens in the future.” Future plans include continuing dancing, as he and brother Maks Chmerkovskiy have a “Dance With Me” company.
