But look where she ended up, FannyMarePaul W her on tv hubby is still in the exact same role while EVA went on to bigger and better. Desperate Housewives for one. Saw a nice news story about Andy Grammer this morning. He was in Hampton Beach NH for a concert and having breakfast at a local diner where 6 middle aged local women were eating. He paid for their meal and on the way out when they thanked him, he mentioned that his mother loved to have breakfast out with her friends and the group reminded him of her. She had passed away and he missed her so he thanked them for the good memory.
One lady had lost her son, so she jumped up to hug him and told him that his sweetness reminded her of him.....Just a nice story for early Saturday morning when everything else on the news was ugly.

I saw the Queen on TV at Ascot and I was thinking ....how many of those brightly colored suits/dress & coat outfits does she have? Does she ever rewear them? She must have a Mistress of the Wardrobe keep track of them since she has so many. I can't imagine someone bringing a bag to Goodwill to donate the ones she has weeded out of the wardrobe.so what happenes to the ones that are out of date?

I've noticed the way young & even middle aged actresses/singers are dressing for events in recent years especially. So often there seems to be a "show the goods" trend that has gone way overboard. Parts hanging out all over the place. When seeing pictures I've often thought: "She forgot her pants" or "She forgot her shirt". They don't look sexy or even attractive. They're just exposing themselves. I think it's that fear of losing that "pretty girl" look & losing what gets them noticed & therefore gets them work. I've often thought they look so desperate. They want attention, even if that attention is negative. Many of them are well known actresses and singers. They are talented & seemingly have it all. They don't need to do that. Heather has never been one of those "expose herself" women. She's always looked beautiful & tasteful. Maybe instead this has manifested itself for her in insecurities that have affected her mental health. Darned if I know if this is the case. Just a guess, but I hope she's able to get the help she needs. |

Not to kick someone when they're down, but the difference is that RDJ has talent. As soon as he got clean (and, frankly, before he got clean), people wanted to hire him because he's a gifted actor. HL got by on her looks and now that she's gotten older and is dealing with all of these issues related to her substance abuse, who's going to take a chance and hire her? Plenty of other ladies in her age and talent bracket who'll come to work sober and do a good job without all the drama.
I've read some pretty hideous things about HL on various sites, btw. None that I would repeat here, but if even a fraction are true, her blonde, wholesome image is just that: an image. I mean, her ex-husband is no prize, but their daughter wanted to live with him and not her mother. That should tell you something.

She was released from jail overnight, had another breakdown at home and was re-arrested. They are now talking that she needs psychiatric in-patient treatment and that is being taken care of.
