I don't know how I feel about having Wes or Jordan on All Stars as they have not retired from the regular series and I really hope that All Stars does not become the dumping ground for folks who have't won on the current show and want an easier avenue.

I thought Nia was banned from the challenge? One of the most vile people that has been on there. I also remember her trying to hire someone to injure Jordan during their season of the real world, but the guy didn't go through with it at least.

I see Jonna has made it on the cast 3 times in a row. Good for her. She mentioned that her husband had lost his job and as a hairdresser she couldn't work and that they had used their savings to live on during the lockdown; Challenge All Stars must be a God Send for Jonna, going away on business for 4 to 6 weeks, getting paid to compete and then going home to the family.

Now that the winners for All Stars are known; MJ and Jonna and they will be participating along with other AS2 castmates it should be very interesting.

As much as I like The Challenge and have had my enthusiasm for the franchise renewed because of All Stars with its more throw back challenges, shorter season, and seeing actual MTV Real World and Road Rules cast members, I just hope season 3 does not descend into the intense competitive mess that the regular series has become. That might be due to all of the season 3 cast being all finalists. I just never want to see Jordan Wiseley or Brad win.

It's started. Episode 1 and 2 were dropped today.
Format
Players will compete as individuals in various challenges followed by elimination rounds in the Arena. The top 3 men and women will form the Authority. The Authority will be safe from elimination, while the last-place man and woman will automatically be sent to the Arena. The Authority will then have to choose which man and woman will compete in the Arena against that day's losers. In the Arena, the players will compete in elimination. The winner stays in the game, while the loser is sent home.
Final Prize Money: Winners: $250,000 each
Twists
The Sabotage: The first place players of the challenge will earn the chance to sabotage a player of their choice at the next challenge.
Stars: Each player has a star on their Challenge jersey. When they eliminate a player, they will acquire their opponent's star. The more stars players earn, the bigger the advantage.

Episode 1 - An All Star Is Born - May 11, 2022
I was concerned when I heard Wes and Jordan were to be in this season as both bring drama and tension to the game, but Wes just brings a level of nasty, cocky, smugness to the game. Wes's confessionals are so over the top confrontational and ego driven it makes you want to just fast forward the sessions or mute them. Don't ruin All Stars Wes.
Wes won the daily challenge but what surprised me was that he didn't turn the vote into a big move like everyone of his confessionals indicated he would. WTF! That surprised me. What game is he playing.
The Authority took the easy route and voted in the second place worst finishers into elimination.
MJ suggested they vote in Jordan so they can potentially eliminate a strong competitor. Yes was no, he wants to go against the best in the final.
Wes is already creating a narrative that Yes is jealous of him. Huh?
Other thoughts: Veronica gained weight, Sylvia gained weight, not fat shaming but do you really want to get to the final and win? Jonna, looks even fitter than season 2. Tina also looks like she did some training and lost some pounds since season 2. Tyler does not. Tyler broke 3 ribs, his wrist, and his diaphragm moved a few centimeters from his season 2 elimination.
Do like that The Authority are the top 3 finishers male and female. So getting in is performance based and they all free from elimination.
Daily Challenge: Tunnel Vision Winners: Sylvia & Wes Cynthia and Syrus finished last and automatically were sent into elimination
Elimination: Crawl Brawl Syrus vs Tyler: Tyler eliminated
Cynthia vs Tina: Cynthia eliminated

Episode 2 - You've Been Sabotaged! - May 11, 2022
Daily Challenge: Out of Reach Winners: Yes and Joanna win Last Place: Tina and Laterrian - automatically were sent into elimination
Tina sabotaged KellyAnne. KellyAnne was sabotaged by 1 minute but was neck and neck with Jonna doing the puzzle. KellyAnne can't do puzzles and ended up last but Tina DQ'ed the Challenge so Tina was sent into elimination. KellyAnne has a total meltdown.
Wes sabotaged Jordan and Jordan still came in first and Wes had a 20 minute penalty because he could not do the swinging portion of the game.
Tina tried to bully Jonna into not voting in either Melinda or Veronica into elimination against her. Jonna told Jemmye and Kailah and they told her not to let Tina run the game, that Tina was not in the Authority and had no say as to who was put into elimination against her.
Wes continues to bad mouth Yes in his confessionals.
Elimination: Lights Out Tina vs Melinda: Melinda quit due to spraining her ankle again, the one she injured during the season 2 finale.
Laterrian vs Mark: Laterrian eliminated.
Winners: Tina and Mark
Tina now has 3 Stars Mark has 2 Stars

Episode 3 - Treehouse of Horror - May 18, 2022
Daily Challenge:
Sabotage: must wear a 35 lb weighted vest during the challenge
Kendall sabotages MJ
Yes sabotages Wes
Playing Dirty: Played in male and female heats over three rounds. Each round, players must run through a mud-pit, collect a ball and bring it outside of the mud-pit to advance to the next round while the number of balls decrease each round. The first male and female to collect a ball and exit the mud-pit in the third and final round wins, with the other two players able to collect a ball during the same round joining them in the Authority. The male and female left without a ball after the first round are automatically sent to the Arena.
Winners: Brad & Kailah Last: MJ & Veronica
Arena: Weight Up: Players begin inside a cage with several weighted sandbags. They must throw enough sandbags into an overhead crate to lower the crate and reveal a section of dry wall. They must then smash through the dry wall using a hammer, escape the cage and ring a bell outside. The first player to ring the bell wins.
Played by: MJ vs. Syrus Women: Victoria vs. Kendall - did not compete due to players leaving the game.
Players left the game: Tina - broke her hand during the daily challenge Jemmye - mother called father is ill
Kendall is an idiot. This girl is a fierce competitor and is physically in good shape. However this girl is clueless playing the game. Kendall won last episode so earned the sabotage of giving a weighted vest to another player. When asked to make a decision she freezes. Jordan tells Kendall to give the vest to him and instead she gives it to MJ, a person who she is rooming with. Why? Because she wants to be fair and gave it to the biggest guy. Me I would have given it to Wes. Kendall's indecision makes her a target and makes Jonna and MJ angry with her. Kendall does not know how to play the game.
Yes tries to have a conversation with Wes about the sabotage and Wes basically threatens Yes "if you give it to me, I will come after you" and Yes gives Wes the sabotage.
Nehemiah threatens he will mess Yes up because yes tackled him during the daily challenge. Nehemiah's has a hot tempter and doesn't know how to separate gameplay from personal attacks.
The episode title "Treehouse of Horror" refers to the room that holds Kailah, Victoria, Sylvia, Tina, Jemmye, and Derrick. I give the girls credit that they are working together. The "Treehouse" is going after KelleyAnne and Kendall.

Season 3 Episode 4 - "She's Back!" - May 25, 2022
Sabotage: Player must wait one minute before starting challenge
Sabotaged: Brad sabotages MJ, Kailah sabotages Kendall
Beth is back replacing one of the ladies that left episode 3 due to injury; right before the challenge starts.
She DQ's the challenge and is immediately going to elimination.
Back at the house Beth was trying to find a bed/room to stay in. She tried out the Treehouse first. No one wants her.
Beth and Veronica try to have a conversation during their night out attempting to bury the hatchet.
Beth and Veronica share a confessional which goes downhill quickly.
OMG! Jordan and Nia are a thing!

Season 3 Episode 5 - "More Than Friends?" - June 1, 2022
Beth, I would like to meet in person as her vibe does not come across well on the screen. Despise is the word that seems to describe her best. She is obviously not here to compete. To cause utter chaos and collect a paycheck yes. I don't get her.
During the "Kiss the Winner's Ass" portion of the episode where everyone begs Mark and Sylvia not be sent into elimination, Beth out and out states that she does not like Jonna because she is sneaky and a cheater. Really, how is that any business of yours. Taking the moral and ethical high ground in The Challenge is a total joke. Beth calls out both MJ and Jonna as cheating on their spouses with each other, then she is upset when she is in elimination with Jonna and MJ and the others are helping Jonna with Knock Off the elimination challenge. Beth quits claiming it is not a fair elimination. Beth who is despised by all, created a tense social moment with Jonna and MJ is surprised that the house is against her? Claiming it is not fair to her? What world does this woman live in?
Do like the new twist of only the top male and female being in the Authority and choosing who to send into elimination. The last place finisher is not an automatically sent into elimination.
I like that the person chosen for elimination can chose who they want to go against.
Brad is sometimes so thick it amazes me. He plays a loyal game to those he is loyal to but he also is vindictive and stupid in his strategic moves by constantly throwing the disadvantage onto MJ. Why? There must be a smarter play, like throwing it on to Jordan who welcomes any disadvantage.
For some reason Brad expects folks to read his mind and do what he wants regarding strategy such as giving Mark the win this daily challenge. Brad is never in the conversation until after it happens and he feels blindsided. This game is very fluid and what you decide on in the morning may not be the plan 5 hours later. Brad is always lamenting that although he was the number one male two daily challenges in a row he cannot direct anything.
I thought Brad was a teacher, yet he stated that he lost his job due to COVID I guess. Why is it every time we see Brad as a player he has either started a new job or lost an old one. You get the impression he can't keep a job.

Season 3 Episode 6 - "Revenge Of The All Stars" - June 8, 2022
More than halfway through the season. I think they are doing another twist next week.
I do hope they have a bigger group for the finale like they did in season 1, there are so many strong male competitors it would be very exciting to watch.
Still hope that Brad or Nehemiah do not win, basically because they are donkey behinds.
The women's side however is not so strong. Jonna, Kailah, KellyAnne are the top tier competitors for the women. Roni and Nia are unknowns. Veronica has no chance of winning this competition unless she is carried and I highly doubt that will happen. Veronica simply does not come physically prepared for this competition.
I was very surprised with Derrick comments are the end, that having targeted the Mean Girls of the Treehouse Alliance that might come back and bite KellyAnne in the butt. Huh? The Treehouse Alliance had targeted both Kendall and KellyAnne from the beginning of the season, none of the non allied females formed an alliance to protect themselves which was incredible dumb. Exactly what was KellyAnne supposed to do just take it?

Listened to both Veronia and Nia on the Official MTV Podcast
Both Veronica and Nia said they did not prepare/workout to be on The Challenge All Stars.
Nia said she had gained about 30 lbs since she was last on the Challenge. She stated that she was notified that she would be on the show about a month before it began and she hired a trainer for boxing workouts and had another trainer come to her home and work her out several times a week but that 4 weeks of preparation was not really enough to be prepared for the Challenge.
Nia did say during the filming of All Stars 3 she showed up once or twice in the gym to show the guys she "worked out" and would be a good partner. Nia did say that all the guys did workout daily but the woman not so much.
Nia stated that she has no endurance but is a good sprinter.
Veronica acknowledged that you have to be in good shape to win the Challenge. But that she has other financial threads to support herself.
Veronica did say that when she is ready and in a good head space she will get in better shape for the Challenge.
Nia stated that she was a "lazy ass" while on the Real World and the other Challenge. That she didn't like to work and that she didn't have to because people gave her stuff because of the way she looked.
When Nia decided to go into the personal service business she stated that no one wanted to hire her because of how she behaved on The Real World and the Challenge.
When she wanted to go the corporate airline route it took her over 18 months to get her first job. Nia commented that anything you do or say on the internet does come back to haunt you and potential employees saw how she behaved and wanted nothing to do with her.

Season 3 Episode 7 - "Let's Make A Deal" - June 15, 2022
Derrick is thrilled, he won a puzzle elimination last episode and he won trivia this episode.
Derrick thankfully listened to Mark and picked Jordan for elimination instead of Nehemiah on the basis that Jordan is a threat and what has Nehemiah won.
Veronica picks a big player. Regardless who won the elimination a stronger player than Veronica was eliminated from the game.

I was listening to Sylvia's interview on the MTV Official Podcast and both Annesa and Tori asked how it was to deal with Beth in the house. I liked Sylvia's response and then later saying that one thing she got from Bananas was not to talk badly about a person's outside life or family in this case Beth saying nasty stuff about Jonna and MJ. All agreed that since they were on the show their lives could be talked about and their actions on the show, but it was crossing a line to bring in MJ and Jonna's spouses and as a consequence their children.

Season 3 Episode 8 - "Going Bananas" - June 22, 2022
Veronica is medically DQ'ed before the Daily Challenge due to having slipped and fallen down some steps and breaking her big toe.
Veronica is upset to be eliminated right before the final but really, she does not work out, she said this herself on the Official MTV Podcast so in reality really didn't have much of a chance to win. I really hate it when folks are given opportunities like this and don't even try.
Nia DQ's the Daily Challenge, she simply can't make herself jump off the helicopter, as she is terrified of heights. Normally this would send her right into elimination but not this round. She is lucky.
So after elimination it looks like there will be 3 females and currently 5 males with one to be eliminated in the Arena leaving 4 guys. I wonder if they will bring back one of the eliminated females to run with 4 guys and 4 girls?
The episode ends in the middle of the Derrick and Nehemiah elimination.
The preview shows the finale has started. You hear either Nia or Jonna say that is cheating ... that sounds more like Nia, as Jonna does not get that upset over twists in the game, it is what it is.
Oh, for some reason they had Bananas doing a video phone call with Wes and we get to see Bananas give Wes a shot of his butt twice. At least Bananas shaved it.
They showed a bit of a tease for the final and you can see Brad and Nia partnered at one point and Jonna and Wes at another. I think I heard Kailah's voice saying "oh s**t" at one point. There is a shot of bodies running from the jungle to the beach and you can sort of count 6 bodies but that is it. I see someone with two knee braces that I think is Nia.

FYI: I know a lot of podcasters were really happy to see Nia Moore back on the show and many predicted that she would win this season based on the fact she is 6 feet tall, was a division 1 volleyball player. Well Nia Moore is not 33 years old and has stated in the MTV Official Podcast that she is 30 lbs heavier than in her twenties and has not been working out and is turns out that she was a closet vaper and constantly was vaping during All Stars 3. Vaping still puts a lot of nicotine into your system and nicotine and lungs are not a good combination. With all that information I cannot see Nia winning the season. www.afterbuzztv.com/the-challenge-all-stars-nia-moore-talks-near-death-experience-i-almost-potentially-lost-my-life/per instagram: per instagram:

Season 3 Episode 9 - "Cheater! Cheater!" - June 29, 2022
I didn't like the way they glossed over Derrick's and Nehemiah's elimination round. I also don't get how Nehemiah won considering Derrick has gone for hours against Joss during Vendettas. As a long time viewer I felt cheated. On the other hand maybe the final was going to be epic and they needed the time and then it felt as if production wasted 20 minutes of this episode over scenes that if never aired I would never have missed so again I felt cheated.
OK, Nia said Kailah was cheating, why not call her out during the competition or after to production?
Yes, it did look like Kailah was looking at Nia's board.
Even with the conversation with Nia, and Nia left, seeing the smirk on Kailah's face, I really don't know if Kailah cheated or not but she was happy to see Nia pissed off. Almost as if she pissed off Nia on purpose.
I really appreciate Wes's strategy regarding prepping for the finale. OK, he is a total snot about it but he takes it seriously.
How does Brad prep for the final? He lovingly brushes his beard.
I give KellyAnne credit for not expending any more energy then she needs to.
