Joe Millionaire - For Richer or Poorer (Fox)

What happened? Did they not have a meet and greet? They only saw the two men and then spent the evening together with each other?

Did none of them notice that one of the girls got sent home after the producer pulled her? She knew the rich guy from SM.

It seems fun so far. More interesting than the Bachelor was on Monday. 

I have to say I rather enjoyed that.

So much screaming! That was annoying. But otherwise, I like the premise, and both guys seem pretty nice. Steven is quite a mama's boy, which sounded serious. He reminds me a bit of Bachelor from Iowa Chris Soules.

Some of those women and their inflated lips were just too much! I believe they'd still be very cute without all the fakeness, so I just don't understand why they do that to themselves. It was too much plastic surgery everywhere!

The drama (and drinking) was a red flag, at least on Kurt's date. And the previews show much, much more in store!!

For those of us streaming only, it is on Hulu next day.

Also, they pictures they used when deciding who to kick to the curb?  Could they have been any worse?  

Hmmm, too soon to tell about the messiness. Although the girl getting drunk because she had to dance and then crying and using the curtain as a tissue was very entertaining.

I really enjoyed it and the Batchelor bores me. That one girl who kept saying that she has low self-esteem...I mean, we know, look at what you have done to your lips? It looks like that should be inside your body, not out of it. Surprised that Kurt was taken aback about a woman having a child and an ex.

I'd give the first episode a 6, with the potential to go much higher. We've already had dress drama, sobbing into the curtains, several with bad lip injections, a couple admitted gold diggers and some stank attitudes. From the previews, it looks pretty messy. Check it out!

Carolyn decided to get to the point and simply go for what she wants, I guess?

It really did! The two guys definitely have different approaches, don't they? Steven is all in, kissing girls and going for it. Kurt focused on Carolyn mostly and was shocked to hear about Steven's kissing! haha

I think Carolyn is cute and all, but there's something about her that makes me wonder. Sometimes it's her expression when she's just in the crowd, not being featured, that looks sour. Like she could be a handful. 

Poor Jennie, her story sounds awful. It makes me wonder, then, after having gone through all that, what makes one want to play up your sexuality with huge implants, fake lips, etc.? I'm all for empowerment, but I don't see how her looks would help that. But, luckily I can't relate so I guess if that helps her somehow...! And Steven was very nice about it when talking with her. 

I listened to a podcast the two guys did with RS, and they were good interviewees! They get along very well, and have remained close friends. When asked about the hint in the previews that one of the girls gets involved with a producer, one guy responded there are lots of twists and turns this season, and the other one said he couldn't confirm or deny. hahaha - interesting!! 

I have to wonder about Carolyn too...several of them made not-so-nice comments about her, so there must be something "off" there. Kurt sure has locked in on her, though.

The one that got sent home seemed pretty salty about the whole thing.

Next week does look good...

Nerves? I'm not going to police how someone who was sex trafficked responds to their own trauma. Laughter is often used as a coping mechanism.

Hearing more rumblings about a girl flat out getting it on with a producer on the show so I can't wait until next week.

Here we go. Fake Hollywood premier to get the girls all excited and then there is a film of all of them talking behind the scenes in their ITMs.

Carolyn tells Kurt to get to know the others, but then marks her territory by kissing him in front of everyone.

Poor Kurt when he hears her talking about wanting a rich guy. He is very surprised and looks hurt.

Poor Kurt. He just can't win. That girl...Amanda...was doing so well while talking with him privately. They made out and he said she is very much the personality he likes. Then she confronts him later in front of the others to admit whether he is into Caroline and is just being fake with the others. Bad move. He is now p*ssed and has checked out and is crying in the bathroom and his pal Steve is comforting him. He says he isn't cut out for dating multiple people. I feel for him.
