Did anyone tune in to Steven and Calah's live on Instagram last night? They said they'd be answering questions.

Steven tweeted out earlier that he and Calah are calling it quits. Damn. So sorry to hear that. While the show was on, the two of them seemed like they could be a great couple! It's a shame they couldn't make it work.

Steven tweeted out earlier that he and Calah are calling it quits. Damn. Well at least he won't loose money on the house he bought in this market. Oh that article about them buying a house was from March 13 and stated that the house is under construction and won't be ready until the end of the month. If so and they moved there in April that means they barely lasted a month in the house. This messes Calah the most as she had to give up her place in Texas and move to Missouri for about 4 weeks and now has to turn around find a new place to live and a job.

Interesting! From what I remember I didn't think Annie would love the farm life, but who knows. Good luck to them.

Did you notice in the article that they were with Kurt and Carolyn? Looks like both of them should have picked the other girl in the finale

Has anyone been watching the McBee Dynasty show about Steven and his family? I've gotten through the first 3 or 4 episodes, and as of filming last spring/summer (I think), Calah was still in the picture but living in Texas. She is NOT well liked by Steven's dad at all, because of times when she was drunk and didn't come off well. Dad sees red flags!
All the sons seem to be very affected by the parent's divorce (kind of recent, but sounded tumultuous before that), and dad's subsequent dating life. He's worked hard, came from nothing, and got married early. Now that he's divorced, he doesn't want to ever get married again, is liking dating, and is stringing along two women (so far, that we've seen) who'd like to be in a relationship with him. One son is equally as non-committal, and quite the drinker so I felt bad for his girlfriend (labeled as "on again, off again"). He was a mess.
Steven seems as competent, intelligent, and as nice as he did on JM, but kind of full of himself and maybe a bit controlling too. Calah says there's nothing to do out on the farm at all, and wifi isn't good, so she doesn't seem to spend a lot of time there. Their car washes are in KC so they all spend a lot of time there too.
It was so weird that they were robbed of at least $100K of equipment/vehicle, and felt they couldn't submit a claim! I wonder why they're targeted so often, as they said.

I'm watching, and really enjoying this show! At first I didn't recognize Steven from Joe Millionaire, and was so surprised to see his family's life being brought to reality tv. I totally agree with everything you've described, Navybelle , except that Steven (to me) seems to be a bit more of a slacker than he did on the Joe Millionaire show. But all in all, I'm really enjoying the family dynamic --- very reminiscent of the old "Dallas" series, except this is real life (well, mostly real ). PS I'm really surprised about Calah. On Joe Millionaire she seemed to be a very down to earth, classy and 'together' young woman -- but here, Steven's father describes her as a sloppy drunk and a real undesirable person.

Probably she hates the country live style and she is showing her misery. She may be bored out of her mind. Also Dad may simply dislike her and is disparaging her to everyone.
