Anybody watch this last night? It's basically Kitchen Nightmares squashed down into 24 hours instead of one week. I don't have high hopes for the restaurant he worked with last night...the owner doesn't seem too stable and the head cook just didn't seem to care a whole lot. They did make a huge improvement in the building and the menu (and that foul kitchen/freezer area), but still. I hate that the guy's dad had sunk so much of his retirement money into the place just to keep them open.

I'm kind of tired of Ramsey being all over TV.

I saw the first episode so far, it's alright. I thought that kitchen nightmares had ended though because he wanted to cut back on so many shows? Whatever happened to Hotel Hell? No more new seasons?

Well, I certainly enjoyed the 2nd episode. Ramsey did right by all. It was touching.

Okay, I'd love to know how this last restaurant passed any kind of local health inspections, seeing how unbelievably filthy that kitchen was. And what was with the fish/chicken soaking in water all together? And cooked pork with raw red meat? Barf.
It was a lot nicer looking after they redid the place, though. I hope they keep it together.

I watched the season, but I liked some of the other shows better than the rushed format.

I liked 24 Hours well enough. I'd watch more.
That place they featured in this week's finale is hopeless. She went back to the old greasy crap they were serving before? I don't see them staying open long term, she was too stubborn to take help.

Maybe because he had to stay at those roach motels. After the first batch of bed bugs Mrs. Ramsey probably told him to pack it up!

I don't know how people weren't getting sick after eating in that place, it was beyond filthy. And how does nacho cheese sauce from a can go bad? There are so many chemicals in it, I thought it couldn't turn moldy. Yuck. I hope the owner keeps his crap together, he didn't seem very suited to running a restaurant.

Every time I think one of these "restaurants" has reached a new level of disgusting, he shows another one that tops them all. I don't think that the Catfish Cabin was cleaned within the last 20 years. How the Shelby County Health Department gave it a passing score, I don't understand. When ants are carrying off greasy hushpuppies and Gordon declares something a "cockroach duvet"....yeah. Never mind the undercooked, bloody chicken and slimy fish they were serving people. *barf*
