I don’t see how the women were cutthroat? What, for suggesting that the guy who helped them with directions should have been told not to help Kim and Penn? So what, Kim and Penn could have asked someone else. They didn’t tell him to give Kim and Penn wrong directions, nor did they cut Kim and Penn’s tires or anything. It was literally nothing.
I felt bad for them at the end when they kept putting the wrong candy up. I knew Kim would do well, she’d been shown writing things down all season.
I didn’t really care who won, as long as it wasn’t Ryan and Dusty (well, more Dusty, his constant woo hooing and chest puffing was annoying). I found Penn a bit much at times but he grew on me. I like Kim and the flight attendants were fine. It wasn’t my favourite season, but it was nice to have the Race back.

Just watched the finale. What a great season. The teams were inspiring and fair. I loved that Kim and Penn won, they are so strong. I’ll remember this season for a long time.

I love that most of them got together for a finale watch party, hosted by Lala and Lulu, I think.

I think it was because throughout the show Raquel and Cayla used the help of others to their personal advantage, but did not reciprocate much. I don’t remember which was the dark haired girls name, but in the finale, she did express her gratitude to her partner for teaching her kindness.

I knew several of them. I always enjoyed history. Vasco da Gama, Ferdinand Magellan I don't understand how some of these people are so bad at rowing. PS -- I also knew Cristiano Ronaldo. I was looking for Luis Figo, Rui Costa or Vitor Baia. I'm a daddy's girl and a big soccer fan. I knew Vasco de Gama. Don't they teach world history in schools anymore?

Arun and Nat are out. Absolutely not surprised, they've struggled this whole time. I felt so bad for Arun with the rowing. It should not have been that difficult, but I guess some people are just not coordinated. It was painful watching him. Nat and Arun did well on painting the door, and Nat got the number of columns correct on the first try. It just seemed that they never were able to improve any of their skills during the race.

Crap. The girls finished the sound effects first. That watermelon to the face hurts me every time I see it. It took the girls 8 attempts and KP only 6 attempts so it seemed a tie.

I enjoyed this season very much and the final three were all strong teams and I would have been OK with any of the three winning. I admit I tend to be biased against strong, young, male teams as physically they do have an advantage over other teams. I do appreciate it that the physical teams do not always do well with clues, reading instructions (making cheese), however in previous seasons the physical teams seem to breeze through most legs to win the season. I liked that the final legs had a decent combination of clues, working together, and interesting tasks. That final memory challenge can really mess with your head to the point both the girls and Kim and Penn were second guessing themselves. I do like that Penn said that studying the game and what happened is what gave them the win.
In regards to the girls telling a complete stranger who just helped them with directions to not help KP is silly. Even if the girls had actually said anything to that person why would that person even OBEY that request? I understand why they did it. I do wonder if KP left so quickly after the girls it took them longer to get to the Galaxy Arena that I thought for sure the girls would win.
How far back were Ryan and Dusty?

I read several recaps on various websites and then the comments. Boy, people can be nasty. Many complaining how unfair the door painting challenge was unfair to Dusty and Ryan because they had to paint a doorknob and other teams did not. What the heck does it matter? Dusty and Ryan finished in the top three and made the finale. The finishes in that leg would affect nothing in the last leg, but people complained how unfair it was.
I was amazed how many people didn't like the season because it was unfair because their team (Dusty and Ryan) didn't win. I don't get that worked up because the teams I root for don't necessarily win. This was the first time in a long time I would have been OK with any of the teams winning.
I was also surprised how many people did not like Penn and Kim calling them fake and how dare anyone monetize their families because they use their family to make money on the internet. Don't all people monetize themselves? We all use our skills to perform and get money. Someone thought it was unfair for Kim and Penn to win and get the money because they didn't need it because they make money on the internet. Do any of these folks not do their research and not know that Ryan received several million dollars for wrongful imprisonment lawsuit?
Oh, people complained that the race was unfair because the race challenges were obviously geared to the bloggers (Kim and Penn) strengths and unfair to the other teams.
The conclusion is that people are nuts, very narrow minded, and twisted.
There were also a lot of defenders of the race and the teams, thank goodness for some sanity.
