I took a look at Quordle and It is beyond me. Why don't you play one at a time rather than try to fit letters that go from green to yellow depending on the square?
It was beyond me the first few times too. But after playing it a bunch of times, a pattern emerged.
After your first guess, you locate the word that had the most yellow/green hits, and work that word until you get it, not worrying about the other words for the moment. Once you get the first word, you go for the next word with the most yellow/green revealed, etc. But you'll notice that you've used up a bunch of letters getting the first word, which narrows down which letters are available for the rest of the words. As you get each word, the fewer letters there are to choose from for the next word, which makes the guessing a little easier. And even with the letters that are partially colored, you can see if they have already been ruled out on the word you're working on.
The only time I might switch gears is if I can't get the first word and I'm using up too many guesses. Then I may move on to another word and hope for better luck. But yeah, if you don't get at least one word by the 4th/5th guess, it's going to be hard to complete the puzzle.
Sometimes it just flows, and sometimes it's impossible.
