Camera work stunk on that challenge. We didn't even get to see how close Monte or Turner were, since we just stayed on Daniel.

Pooch gets a free ride this week, can't get nominated or evicted, won't play in comps or vote on eviction night, but can play for the next HOH.
He also has to pick 3 other HGs to have the same deal as him EXCEPT, they aren't safe from nom/eviction. So for them it's a big disadvantage.

They're making this wayyy too drawn out and complicated. ITA--they spent 90 minutes on the opening episode, and I still don't really know anything about any of them. I didn't bother to vote for the houseguest I wanted to save because I have no idea which one I would save if it were up to me. |

First impressions...
Kyle, I like him but I hope he calms down or he will be targeted early
Pooch didn't come across as smarmy as his picture suggested. Let's hope he is decent.
I really liked Ameerah, I hope she goes far.
I wanted to like Taylor but she came across as an entitled mean girl. Not a fan.
Turner needs to go on the hair alone.
I am really liking Daniel. I like that he is a feed watcher so hopefully he will be more entertaining. And he gets that everything is seen on the feeds so be careful what you do. Unless he doesn't care.
I can't remember many of the names but the chef and the bus driver are two I like as well. The rest didn't really make an impression yet.

I agree it seemed drawn out. They did a lot of games but not enough for us to get to know the people. There were some I thought I might like but I can't remember their names. What I did figure out is that I felt bad for the four people who got slimed. No one else had to do that, only that group.

So glad the season is back, but I thought the first episode was kind of long, slow and boring. Nobody stands out in my mind as a favorite or least favorite yet. Hopefully, Sunday changes that so I can put together a pool. Can't wait till everyone drops the phony 'let's all get along' routine, and things start to get real.  |
