7/14 BB24 Thursday Episode Discussion

I guess we have to wait for feeds to come back to know who won now. I’m hoping Michael or Taylor wins, although ok with Jasmine or Kyle too.

I think they will go right on filming it. Have no idea what will come next for part2 HoH. Maybe they will each go into booths and Julie asks true/false statements? Anyway, time to compose yourself Julie.

FYI Monte beat Nicole in the last round.

Michael, Taylor, Joseph, Ameerah, Jasmine, Kyle and Monte will compete for HOH. We just probably won't see it.

Feeds coming back sometime tonight.

Maybe they can dust off Christmas' scooter and let Jasmine use it.

I am hoping for a Taylor win!

Apparently "Blamba" ( Bleep & Mamba  ) talked last night about throwing the HOH comp to Michael so he could go after Turner and Pooch. But of course this was before they knew about Paloma leaving and Taylor staying. I know Monte is going to gun for that HOH now.

I'm so glad there was no eviction tonight too! Taylor was so relieved, but I still felt so nervous for her, because even without Paloma there are plenty of people in there who still are being nasty and mean.

I really thought Jasmine touched the floor too, because you could see the confetti move. I rewound it too, a couple times, and all I could come up with is maybe she got so close that the "wind" from her foot moved the confetti, but their cameras didn't see a touch. Oh well. 

I'm so tired of Julie, wanting everyone to show some "grace" (towards Paloma apparently), and not even being informed on what was going on in the house. She admitted she doesn't watch all the feeds, and it was obvious when she was spouting lines like Taylor was crying to be nominated, no one likes being unliked, etc. Then when she's bringing God into it all, quite often, it's too much. "Godspeed, Paloma" was her send off tonight. It's fine to do that personally, but she's a host of a prime-time show and shouldn't really be bringing religion into it. I can't see other prime-time hosts ever doing that (Jeff Probst? Phil Keoghan? no way). There are contestants on, and viewers watching, that have different beliefs.

I watched a clip of Julie on The Talk, after they all watched a clip of Aryn being racist back in 2013 (?), and Julie was so angry. She was much less blasé about the bad behavior then. I wonder what's changed, and why she's doing a Chris Harrison!

If Taylor wins HOH, I really worry for her still. She'll have to put up two of the men, they will all still talk behind her back but be nice to her face, and the next week, she'll be nominated again. And she SHOULD put up Monte, if she's HOH, but of course she won't. Maybe she'd nominate Daniel, but I thought maybe she's told him he's safe during some of her talks w/him earlier this week. If she doesn't win HOH, they'll probably make her a Have Not, just to make her pay for staying. 

All of Daniel's targets are still in the house, so his HOH accomplished nothing. And that cracks me up. He was terrible! And he considers himself a Super Fan?? ugh. I still have hope for Nicole, but since she's so close with Daniel, it makes me question her a bit. haha! I really hope this Paloma-less house becomes a little less mean and stupid. I want to see some GOOD game play! Come on, Michael!

 New to this forum so still learning in and outs but I also agree with the poster who said about the mess. So disappointed in the show and that says a lot since I have been an active watcher since it began and lots of lies and proposed bargains have been a part of the show , I was there the year everybody kept hopping into bed, I have watched cultures and races be insulted throughout the years always saying I’m done but I find myself being there every competition, late night argument and some of them have been something, This was tame and lame how it was handled. I could name many examples of some real name calling and trouble so this young girl was mild. I hope it doesn’t become a race thing as in my mind there is no reason for that to occur don’t they tell them the rules? This batch of thirty something’s does seem to be all about me but really casting chose them. Most of them seem pretty smart so no reason to tolerate racial bad behavior reverse or otherwise but just not getting along is par for BB. I didn’t like Taylor and she could have been purple. But making us wait around all day and then leading the drama during the show was over the top. Also stop inviting people to buy into live feeds and then turn them off for long periods of time it makes me feel stupid for believing you would respect our time and money. 

Welcome, breakingwave! I still have hope that this season can turn around...there's still time.

In my opinion BB has gone downhill the past few years. The houseguests have been too sensitive and bringing race into the game has made the show worse. I miss the seasons where we had people like Evil Dick and people that actually played the game.
