These were designed at home before the show - the runway and the wearable. More time to design and sew depending on when they got the assignment. I liked all of them - particularly the neutrals that flowed.

I really liked the dresses that won! Very pretty.
Many of them were just "okay" to me, but I liked seeing what they came up with when they had plenty of time (well, before reporting to the show). The one who went home had a very pretty look, but they didn't like that it was more "daytime" than evening wear. I don't know, I could see that being worn at night.
Heidi often bugs me on this show. I don't mind her when she's on America's Got Talent, but on here she's just got an edge to her. Tim's awesome.

I think both Ciara and Emily had similar types of outfits and either or both could have been sent home.
Do not designers know what evening wear is?
I was hoping for no one to be sent home episode 1.
I do wonder if in person some of the outfits look better than on the TV screen?
I liked Georgia's although her accessible outfit did not look as if it fitted that well on the plus size model. I do wonder if the dsigners are told the sizes of the models that will wear their outfits?
Sienna's looked very flimsy and light to me. It was not that impressive.
Yannik the conceptual designer from Switzerland. Who would wear his clothes?

While I liked Sienna's looks they are definitely something I've seen before. I would have given the win to Georgina because the way she manipulated that fabric was fresh and new.
Emily, Emily, Emily....the time to plead your case before the judges is when you're presenting your work and they can still be swayed; once they tell you you didn't make the cut it's time to be gracious, thank the judges for their time, and hug your fellow designers. Instead, she sat there and basically begged for another chance (and making everyone uncomfortable) and when the judges shut her down again she was STILL grubbing. While sometimes it's commendable to shoot your second shot you have to read the room. Some people have a really hard time understanding the word "No" and it's really off-putting.

I get why she did it and sometimes it works and sometimes it does not. It worked for Curtis in episode 3 where you could see the judges were ready to sent him home.
