Really loved this episode. Reality shows where you create things are so much better when you see the process behind the work, and this episode had it in spades, plus this is the most cooperative group challenge I've seen in a while. I'm really beginning to love The Swiss because he is fun, creative, and willing to go that second mile for the team. It was his idea to do the ensemble based on a Italian funeral, and then everyone else contributed ideas and decided that each contestant's work would be a guest at the funeral (The Wife, The Mistress, The gay rebellious son, best friend, etc). He was also the one to decide that since they had free time the night before the seven hours alotted for the challenge they should pick a sewing machine, thread it, and prepare their station so everyone could just start working the next day.
With that said, everything was fine until something happened with Sienna's machine and she decided to jump on The Swiss's machine without permission and use it, despite him needing that particular machine because of his height. I was feeling some type of way about her to begin with and that selfish behavior sealed those feelings. He asked her to move and she refused, then brushed it off at the judging like "ho ho ho, I'm so cute, I'm sorry!" phoniness that made it even worse. Other than that, the fun of the challenge made everyone put their best foot forward, and there were no losers on the catwalk that night. It was a very enjoyable show and you could tell the judges enjoyed it, as well as everyone's enthusiasm. I was very glad no one got sent home because everyone did a marvelous job. At this point, I'm really rooting for Yannik, Jeanette, and Rafael.

Yes to everything you said, Kao! I, too, was glad that they didn't send anyone home, though Sienna was so vile I wouldn't have minded her leaving. I was glad Jannick won!

Up until this episode, I liked Sienna. Maybe I didn't love all of her designs, but I liked her. Her little "Oh well, I need a sewing machine and mine doesn't work" cr@p was so frustrating. I was seething right along with Yannick! It made his win even sweeter. I hate it when people get away with stuff like that. I didn't hate her dress, but it was clearly the weakest design.
Loved the theme of an Italian mob boss' funeral! I'm so glad Yannick spoke up and I think the fact that it was his idea may have played a part in his win. It was a much better theme than everyone making party dresses. *Snore* I enjoyed watching the judges as they realized what the theme was. I love that Tim loved it too.
I was glad Georgia was able to come back from episode three and make something really different. I thought her priest design was pretty great. It says a lot that it wasn't in the top designs and there was really nothing "wrong" with it.
I have the same favorites, Kao. I hope it comes down to Raphael, Yannick and Jeannette.
I really enjoy this show, but I wish the seasons lasted longer. Ten designers isn't enough! I do hate waiting, but I'd prefer at least 12 designers with one episode rolling out every week....or maybe two the first week and then one each week after that. These seasons just pass far too quickly.

What I really loved about Yannick was he took the lead, but in such a way that group input was necessary and wanted. No one felt like their creative voice wasn't being heard, and it was truly a collaboration within the group. That's the sign of a good leader. He also made a point of making sure everyone had a machine up and running for all the work they had to do the next day, which made what Sienna did even worse. I'm glad he was able to complete his garment and win.

I loved the idea of the funeral. It was a really great idea that allowed them to be able to work better within their own esthetic. I also loved that the judges mostly had it figured out. Sassy funeral was pretty close!

Loved this episode! It was such a 'feel good' episode where everyone was enjoying themselves and was inspired. Except Sienna. I agree with everything that was said.
I also loved Raphel’s look too. I’m a sucker for a stripe and could see this on a full-figured woman.

Oh yes, Rafael's look was marvelous. I loved his concept of his funeral guest being the murderer going to jail, lol.

I was disappointed they didn't show the judges how the shoulder detail on Rafael's dress made a bullseye. I thought that was a nice touch.

Also, Yannick has pics up of his dress on Instagram that are are lots better than what was on the show because of the lighting. The details are really nice, and I can see why he got the win this week.

Luv'ed the theme, lvu'ed the characters.
The drama with the sewing machines was hard to watch. I can understand both points of view.
The runway was fun.
Georgia's priest rocked.
Raphael's assassin looked great.
Yannick's mistress was a strong look.
Jeanette's best friend of the wife also looked great.
Curtis's and Markantoine's brothers were weak as was Sienna's widow.
I think the judges were impressed and decided not to send anyone home but the next elimination will be brutal.

I checked on Amazon, and it's just not that special to me. But, I loved the theme idea he had, and loved how they all contributed in such a fitting way! That was fun to watch. Everyone's character seemed to match their personalities (except maybe the priest?). I liked all the outfits, with Sienna's being the least appealing to me. Like one of the judges said, it was the middle that had a problem - - I liked the top fine enough, and the bottom, but not the middle. The stripes for going off to jail was funny! I also liked the comment about calling the show "Making the Cut your finger off".
