So I just watched and I don't think BB did a good enough job of describing some of Kyle's actions....specifically the time Kyle said "and how is that good for me as a straight white male?" Honestly, I thought they dumbed it down and make it look a lot lighter. Now...I actually stood up for Kyle a couple of weeks ago when this was going down and said I don't think he should be referred to as KKKyle and I STILL don't. But there is an in between of what happened and what BB showed, imo.
I also don't think they showed the one on one conversations good enough. Monte and Taylor were up there with Britt and Michael for over an hour and THAT is what we got?
I'm hoping for more and a better explanation because I could see how the TV only viewers will think it's being overexaggerated and that Michael and Brittany are stretching this. Did they take the most opportune time to tell it? 100%. But that isn't the issue...the issue is what Kyle said and did. Period.

As I said, we got the Cliffs Note version. I think it may have been part of the deal, if Kyle agreed to stay.
I could be wrong, but it’s clear they made it seem not as significant as it was. That comment would have had a more explosive effect I think. Anyway, we still have the House Meeting tomorrow, but I can’t imagine it will be anything but brief highlights.

Monte to Taylor- They even said if Kyle was gone after Dyre Fest, they wouldnt have seen a reason to bring it up. They would have never told us. They have always been so calculated and thought out. To me, this doesnt feel like "oh it was heavy on our hearts" #BB24

I agree, it was bad to wait. I also agree that was hard to bring into the game in general (I think Michael said this??). Honestly I feel no matter how it was presented it was gonna be a poop parade and they would have backlash. I also hope that someone like Kyle, who has been so sheltered most of his life, does learn from this and grow. I really don't think he is a bad guy, just an immature, slightly socially challenged, dipshit. I give Taylor and Monte a LOT of credit for how they dealt with it and how they approached it with Kyle. I am sure it was not the easiest for them to do but their maturity was on display in full force when they did.
Now to add a bit of levity to a heavy night..
Did anyone else (and maybe this has been mentioned before on the feed threads) feel it a bit ironic when they were showing the HN room talks the one pool floatie had a big ole "Fun Boy" printed on it? Almost like someone knew something??

My friend that is in a seniors home, she isn't that old, but has extremely poor sight, asked me, why did Turner say what he did at the end, as if they ( Michael/Britt ) kept it until one of their own was up. I didn't know how to answer, because I only read the feeds, I told her it was far worse than shown. She said I thought it must have been, I told her to watch tonight, and perhaps things will be a little clearer. She thought Kyle was 20. She thinks Alyssa will win this HOH...so I told her ,we could no longer be friends  |
