I can’t stand Sarah. She’s a spiteful woman.
I can’t believe Dominic voted with her. Douche.
But Cayla is a big girl, so maybe it will be better for Angela to go against Alyssa, even though I wanted them both in the final. But if it’s only one or the other, I’m going with Angela.
And I hope she wins the whole thing. Damn Sarah.

I am getting so tired of Enzo.
All he does is whimper and whine all the time.
Why do you go on the challenge if you can't swim.
Now he is quitting. He is such a baby at 42.

Wow, he just totally f’d Desi over. I’m so broken-hearted for her.
Why couldn’t he have been paired with Sarah on this leg?! I would’ve loved it.
I guess I can be just as petty & spiteful as she is. Ha!

Desi even tried to help him with the swimming.
He blew her off.
He has just always been a looser.

Of all the times he was on BB, I think he won one challenge, and if I recall correctly, it was because it was thrown to him. IDK why they even cast him on here to be honest. I was baffled when I saw him in the cast.

Sarah & Cayla all bitter about Angela’s decision to get rest instead of killing herself, saying it’s a bad strategy.
I think it was actually a good idea. It’s not like she had a partner depending on her.
We’ll see if it was smart or not.

Daaaamn! I guess it was a bad strategy after all. Hate to see her go. I really wanted her to win it all. I’m rooting for Anyone but Sarah to win. Ugh…she’ll probably win.

Danny and Sarah won the Challenge. $500.000 for each of them No, they split $500,000 And we finally got to see the infamous Kiki not only once, but twice! The little baby is cute. I loved when she was dancing in her high chair. So adorable. I hate that Sarah won. Yuck. I’m sure her ego will be even worse on the World Challenge. Girlfriend is insufferable as it is already.

What the heck? That was a horrible finale episode, with everyone quitting (well, not everyone, but...). It was very anti-climactic.
Danny is a true winner, good for him, but Sarah was in last place! At least she made it up the mountain, but sheesh, couldn't any of the others just stick it out? It must have been awful up there, but seeing those dollars just dwindle down to zero was sad. Sarah really isn't a pleasant person. All her bashing of Angela was stupid. At least Angela was winning things.
I've never watched the regular Challenge; do as many people quit on the regular show? Are the final challenges as tough as this one apparently was?
I really was surprised about Tyson. He was so determined, doing so well! Until he wasn't. I wonder if he'll have any comments on podcasts or interviews about this?
Angela was a strong player, but made a huge error in judgment. I had no idea she'd be eliminated, but at the time even I thought it wasn't fair that she just opted out. How sweet was Tyler though? I'd love myself a Tyler of my own!! ❤ It was nice to see him, and he'll support her even though she did mess this whole game up for herself.
Actually, Enzo messed things up pretty much too. Wow, poor Desi.
I can't imagine how long it took those finalists to feel warm again. I hate being that cold! Anyway, congrats to Danny! (And Kiki!! LOL)

Wow, poor Desi. I can't imagine how long it took those finalists to feel warm again. I hate being that cold! Anyway, congrats to Danny! (And Kiki!! LOL) Luv'ed It! Luv'ed It! Luv'ed It. While Tyson and Angela dominated the daily challenges and the political and strategic part of the game it is very hard to totally dominate for the entire season and not to go into elimination against a friend, an ally, frenemy, or enemy. That pole wrestle was great as Angela finally cracked her shell. Good to see. Both Angela and Alyssa will be invited back. This was a brutal finale and I luv'ed it. No, very few people quit the final. They are either medically evacuated or there might be a mini purge within the final and they don't make the cutoff. A few quit and take their partner with them and that is brutal. But most complete the final and I have seen people crawl on their hands and knees up the side of volcanoes to finish. Many finals are exactly like this or worse. One time they were in Iceland and after finishing a leg the teams had to strip to their underwear and jump into freezing cold water before they were allowed to get some rest in the tent. As far as Angela's strategy it would be one thing if her partner let her rest but she was running solo that leg. The rule is finish the task or time out of the task. It looked like they were not timing people out of the checkpoints. Depend sometimes there is a 15 minute or 20 minute time limit to complete a checkpoint and other times there is not or you simply have to complete the task. I was hoping that the producers would not let Angela get away with what she did. I just laughed when TJ told her she was out, and they hadn't even gotten to the ready tough part yet. BTW I have been listening to a lot of podcasts and most of the women have a very different take of Sarah, that she is a great person, and a very funny person. Sarah just gives really bad confessionals. To be honest her confessionals aren't even that bad compared to the stuff I have seen on the flagship show.

Luv'ed the final two episodes.
That last daily was almost a mini final, the challenge does that all the time.
Not surprised that Angela came in last it was bound to happen. At this point in the game I am not surprised Alyssa was voted into elimination. So glad that Sarah and Dom got to run that and vote over Tyson. Tyson and Angela ran 90% of this game and were able to intimidate non alliance players the other 9%, so glad this was a non Tyson and Angela influenced play.
The final
Leg one: Not surprised Enzo had issues in the water. I wonder if Enzo and Desi had time to discuss a strategy? What I don't like is he didn't even try. It looked as if there were no timed out legs that you just had to complete them. Even if Desi and Enzo came in last so what they still would be in the final.
Enzo prime example of a guy talking big but not following through.
Happy for Cayla and Danny winning this leg. They would have been a good partnership for the entire final if they were allowed to stay together.
This was a two day final with an over night leg which is very typical for The Challenge. They included a food challenge, math, and puzzles, a water leg, lots of running, and climbing a very, very steep mountain in horrible conditions.
I was very, very surprised to see so many folks quit. I really thought AHA, Cayla has a chance to win with Danny. Never have I seen so many people quit and all leave without their prize money. That is a hard and fast rule in The Challenge, if you want to keep your money you need to cross the finish line.
Liked that Sarah finished even though she thought she was in last place.
I am not unhappy with the winners.
Sarah has the endurance to do a final, she just sucks at the dailies. While Sarah is physical she not built for the dailies. Sarah is a horrible political player, a horrible strategic player. Sarah plays very much like 20 yr olds in the original challenge seasons, all emotion, all venom, all intimidation, and that simply does not work. She needs to keep her mouth shut and keep her head low and survive the Dailies and get to the final.
It was SOOOOO FUNNY to watch Tyson quit after listening to his ego for 10 weeks, at times it was very wearing.
Overall the season started with a BANG, slowed down in the middle, and ended with another BANG. Looking forward to the international seasons on Paramount +.

Bearcata yea I watch the Challenge on MTV show, but I’ve never seen the final set up where timing out is not an option, at least that I can recall. And I’ve never seen it set up so that there’s someone w/o a partner, when everyone else has a partner. It’s either no one has a partner or everyone has a partner. And it was really unfair to all the women because they were the ones who would always have a leg w/o a partner, but the men would always have a partner. I don’t think any of the women benefited from that. Desi surely didn’t. She got super screwed over by having freaking Enzo as a partner in the water. Dude was freaking out & he even had a damn life vest on. I’m so pissed he made it to the final over David. As usual, you & I are on opposite sides of the fence regarding who we like & what we want to see happen. Even though I love Tyson (I didn’t always, I was super pissed at him when his stupid voting decision got Boston Rob voted out, because he just had to throw a hate vote at (I can’t remember who, when if he voted the way they agreed on, BR wouldn’t have been voted off ) I was happy for Danny to win, He was the only other male in the final I wanted to see win. I just can’t stand Sarah. Never liked her on Survivor, don’t like her now. I wanted anyone to win except her. I got real tired of her crowing all season about what a badass she is & that all the women should be afraid of her 🙄. Her political game sucked. Angela never sat there & bragged about how great she was - she let her resume speak for itself & had a good political game & built a relationship with allies in the house. Where she went wrong was not building any kind of relationship (even superficial) with anyone else other than her core group. I couldn’t have eaten that garlic & onion. I’d be puking with every bite. And if by some miracle I made it through that, the sudoku puzzle would’ve been the end of me. I’ve struggled with math my whole life & that puzzle would’ve been my worst nightmare. I wouldn’t even know what to do.

I loved the challenge and super happy with the ending. A lot of players I like really disappointed me.
Lets see. I was happy to see Angela and Alyssa go into the final. I like them both, esp Angela, but I think it's good that their decisions to be divisive partly caused this. I like Tyson wasn't able to run the decisions of who goes in, esp when its important. A little humility is always good. And I really loved how Angela picked up Alyssa and cried and how good a sport Alyssa was. So so sweet!
Poor Desi. How awful for her. I hope I never see ENzo again on a show. Over him.
I have never seen (or heard of) the Challenge before but I felt it was clearly and totally obvious that you had to complete a challenge - you can't just SKIP it and move on. So surprised Angela thought she should and could. Between not being able to solve the slide puzzle and making what seemed like a super easy error makes me wonder if she isn't that bright. She probably is . . . but definitely disappointed, I wanted to see her run the final and just give up like that was a bummer. She definitely went way down in my favorites list. Way. Not so impressed in the end. She isn't quite the beast she was made out to be.
I CANNOT believe Tyson quit. I am shocked so also disappointed in him. Dom and Justine quitting was less sad for me.
Heartbreaking (FOR ME!) to have Cayla quit. I loved her on AR and once she made the final was hoping she would have the endurance and smarts to dominate. Sadly, that did not happen.
BUT I am happy with the Winners:
Danny and his adorable family was so sweet! And his steady-ness and good attitude throughout the challenge makes me very happy for him!
Sarah - not at all disappointed. As mentioned before I like her. I think her "I don't care if I'm in last place I am finishing" was a great edit for her (even if the whole when she was told was so forced it's obvious she knew). She earned it and I am happy for her too!
The Challenge is clearly tough on many levels and the last day was a toughness only Danny and Sarah could handle. Especially Sarah, she didn't have an easy puzzle time like Danny. I am not saying I am tough enough to endure all the brutal cold and would have fared any better BUT the winners really earned it and I had a great time watching!
So if the next one is "exclusively on paramount plus" and I dont have paramount plus - will I not be able to watch it at all?

I admit I supported Sarah during her run in Survivor as she seemed such and underdog and I actually didn't want Tony to win. Sarah has many faults and terrible confessions and she provided the producers so much ammunition to paint her as a bitter pouting villain. However I do recognize she has some athletic ability and based on her marathon background she had the endurance to run a finale. I have worked with some very twisted and toxic people, mainly former supervisors so I may have a bigger tolerance for some of the more unusual characters on this show. I enjoy watching all the different types of personalities dealing with each other and the pressures of being forced to live together and compete against each other. I separate my personal likes and dislikes from a players abilities, so while Tyson's ego can really irritate I appreciate he is very good at the game. Angela is also very good strategically and athletically in the game and she looked capable of winning the final. I do appreciate that she strategically outsmarted herself and got eliminated. However it is very hard to totally dominate in all portions of this game. Enzo I knew talked big but could not back it up and I think pretty much everyone else on the cast knew that too. While Cayla was talking to Enzo at the beginning of this episode you could see she was trying very hard not to laugh. I give Dom a lot of credit for running the final and getting as far as he did. I never thought he would win. I was hoping Cayla would win just because I saw how good she was on the Amazing Race and the fans hated her and teammate. I also knew Leo was a very strong contender from his performances on Amazing Race and he had the endurance and speed and smarts to run a finale. I saw how Tyson turned on Cayla in this episode which I think is a very nasty thing to do and I think something similar happened to Leo. There are a lot of folks on the Challenge that are not the nicest personalities and fail miserably in their social game and daily challenges but are made for the final or are great strategically and politically and win daily challenges but can't run a final.

It was just an observation, based on some of the above responses to other posts, plus we seem to be on opposite sides a lot of the time on the flagship. That’s all it was was an observation, nothing more. I just enjoy the conversation. It just seemed we did agree on many aspects of Sarah's personality and or how she comes across her confessionals. I do think her style of playing is very messy. I also understand she was in a male dominated misogynistic career (police) and she has picked up a lot of bad habits from her fellow co-workers, such as bragging about how great she is.

Wow! I loved it. I mean, Angela in the bottom, and then she had to battle her closest ally? I also was happy to see that the eating challenge wasn't meat, I am much better seeing people eat an onion than eyeballs and bugs.
Man, at first that looked like a wonderful hike and then when they got to the sudoku puzzle, they started to look like the Donner party. Misreable. I was shocked that all three quit. I was shocked that Tyson quit since it was a nice run up the mountain for him. At first, I didn't believe it.
Oh, and Angela should know that TJ (the producers) HATE when people take the easy route, don't try, and don't give it everything they have. Can't say I didn't enjoy how she thought she was smarter than the game and it bit her.
Not mad at the winners either, Sarah doesn't bother me at all. It was a great story arch!

What a terrible terrible way to end the season. Now the casts comments before season started about production makes sense. Making rules up as you go, intentionally not being clear, rules applying to one person but not the other over bullshit technicalities. What a shitshow. That’s reality tv for ya. Enzo Enzo. The house all knew he sucked and they kept him this long. Besides that, nearly everybody else quit too. Let the old man be. There are tons of podcasts/interviews out from the cast but this article pretty much breaks down the casts overall opinion on this final. Tyson Apostol breaks down The Challenge: USA ending and all those DQsThe Challenge constantly gets accused of rigging from the cast, this final did not do them any favors cause its usually behind the scenes. Either way its my favorite show next to Big Brother so I'll keep watching no matter what. It was a fun ride!!

Wow! What an interesting article. And it does make sense...why didn't they time out? We didn't see Sarah complete the soduku. I feel like if Cayla, who does it all the time had a hard time, Sarah would as well? And the stealing of clothing? Wow! I had thought the winner would get 500k too, not split it.
