Since when did the NFL have male cheerleaders? I don’t remember ever hearing about this. I would say I’ve never seen one (in the NFL) but they really don’t show them on TV except maybe a 1 second shot before a commercial.

That's a really good point. I don't think I've ever seen one!?? But if so...that's awesome!

Now there are over 10 teams with at least one male cheerleader on their squads in the NFL. Glad to see the NFL moving into modern times

Glad to see the NFL moving into modern times Interesting, because the junior high school I went to back in the mid 80s no longer has cheerleaders. So which is modern? I'm so confused these days! I know Baylor University has had male cheerleaders for at least 30 years. I have a friend who was on the squad. IDK if all colleges have them or not. I only knew about that school because of him.

My modern times comment was for us finally seeing male cheerleaders in the NFL. It is not THAT common in high school (my cousin is/was a cheer coach) but it is more common in College. Former President GW Bush was one at Yale even. I know there are many colleges that offer specific Male Cheerleading scholarships even. Yeah it is ore common that one may think, the NFL has just been so behind until recently on having them on squads.
