Scramble. Thy can complete challenges in any order they want. Collect clues at each challenge and all together the clues lead them as to where to find Phil at pit stop.

Derek X is one of my favorite Big Brother contestants. I wish he had lasted longer on The Challenge.

I love Derek too!! I hope they do well.
This beginning challenge is interesting -- I like it!! The only thing I questioned was the "ice cold beer" that is what Oktoberfest is all about (according to Phil). I thought Germany served beer at room temp? I was there once, but it was a longggg time ago, and maybe things have changed.

Military Brothers know the city, because one was stationed there. They are off to a good start.

It is a lot stronger than American beer.

The scramble is fun and confusing. I am all over the place right now! more chaotic than I thought it would be. But, high energy. Military bros complete first challenge obstacle course.

We learn that it is not necessary to wear yourself out sawing logs. The saw jaw is just as sharp if you do short movements as big, long, whole body sweeps. Motivational speakers are doing it wrong.

When they go low, we go high, well, we can go low and high, at the same time!

Yeah military guy, you definitely don't know Munich. Being stationed there doesn't mean you know your way around. Let's see he can still find where he is trying to go.

I think Phil was more disappointed for them coming in last than the girls were. They love each other and say they will laugh about this for the rest of their lives together. Goodbye Aastha and Nina!

We just finished AR Canada last night. This was a very frantic hour. I liked everyone. No nel legs, but they could have, keep on racing legs! I have always liked Derek, he seems so kind, one of the few I remember from BB.I'm rooting for them.

I love that Derek and Claire won. I loved how Derek handled the ice block--he actually used the chisel and it took about two whacks to split the block and get right to the clue.
But they all seem like people who respect their partners, unlike in some seasons. Lots of couples to root for.
I lived in Munich for three years and I am always heartsick when I see it on TV, because I know I will never be able to go back. My son was born there, so I hope he gets the chance soon.

I don't like that there aren't any non-elimination legs. It does make it a lot harder. I wonder if they did that because of that father/daughter team last season that kept getting saved. For THAT reason I understand. But I hate seeing a good team who does well every other time go home because of some random mistake. Is it just me or do the "childhood sweethearts" look like they could be brother and sister? Of course DX tore through his first challenge I was a bit worried when Claire said he was the brawn because when looking at him you wouldn't think so. But after watching him do the barrel comp I quickly remembered how good he was at veto's in BB. So many of the teams are a mess though I like the father/daughter team so far. No other obvious favorites other than Derek and Claire. Haha...Derek with the chicken and Claire tapping on the watch Cuties! We didn't get to see them be a couple in the BB house so it's kind of fun to see them interact now. Is it just me or do the teams seem weaker than normal? Aww, they won the first leg! I didn't think they would! I had a feeling that couple would leave...not sure what they were thinking with those long winded directions (I made notes as I watched ...so it reads kind of funny )

Seems like a great cast! Have quite a few early favorites. I was not disappointed in the team that was eliminated. I liked them fine but they seemed likely to go and seems like they have a great attitude. Good for them!
LOVE AR -its my favorite reality TV show and so happy its back on!

I almost didn't tape this as I thought it was a repeat of AR Canada which just ended...fabulously! Had no idea AR was even coming back. Makes me happy since it is one of my favourites and they are travelling. Looks like a lot of fabulous locations. Can't wait since I haven't been able to indulge my travel bug for almost 3 years now.
Love that they started in Munich. I had been planning a trip there during Octoberfest, but since I couldn't get my passport this will do for now.
I have eliminated BB from my viewing list, so don't know who Derek is, but I already like him. He seems like a hoot and they make a good team.
I love Dom's hair, but wonder how heavy is it? It might slow them down, but that motivational speak is already growing tired for me.
I like the scramble twist. It makes it more interesting since the teams don't know where they stand in the order and either does the audience...unless someone keeps notes. I also like that there are no non elimination legs. To me it represents a true race...you are last...you are eliminated.
Really good episode. Looking forward to the rest of the season!!!

"I don't like that there aren't any non-elimination legs."
I love that they got rid of that. I always felt like production was trying to manipulate the game with non-elimination legs. If one of the shows favorite teams came in last...surprise...non-elimination leg. But if a team they didn't care about finished last, it was goodbye. Also, I always felt like it was a wasted hour when I would watch the whole show, then no one would go home.

Love these changes! I love that there are no NELs! It seems like so many times it ends up being the same team that keeps getting saved by them over & over. But I’m thinking maybe they got rid of them because they’re flying on a charter instead of commercial, so that takes away from the challenge of getting the best flight. So they sort of leveled that out by getting rid of the NELs.
I also love that the teams can pick the order of how they want to do their tasks! Now they really don’t know where they stand in the pack till they hit the mat!
Soooo happy DX & Claire won the first leg! 🎉 I’m obviously rooting for them. I also like the “high/low” couple. They seem to have a good sense of humor. Loving the twins so far too. What a crazy story! I wonder if either of the adoptive parents knew they were adopting a twin.
Wasn’t sad to see the team that got eliminated go. When they were taking all that time getting super specific directions & saying they’re overachievers, I felt like it was foreshadowing. I don’t like Abby on the Abby & Will team. Too much hooting & screaming from her. I couldn’t take it. Very annoying to my ears!
No one else stood out to me, good or bad. Well, rainbow brite 2.0 (1.0 is (was) on Survivor this season) looks like she’s gonna be a crier, so that will annoy me, for sure.
