As was pointed out to me previously, Tamar Braxton was the first black woman to win the celebrity version of Big Brother. I’m not sure if bringing that up is considered nitpicking. But,I do think the fact that Danielle Reyes on September 25 2002 lost Big Brother by 9/1 vote, and Taylor Hale won Big Brother 20 years later on September 25 2022 by a 9/1 vote, is special and historical.

When i mentioned that her winning would be historical about a month ago, several people reminded me about Tamar. I admit, I didn’t even remember or consider that as a historical BB win. Celebrity BB is so different. Which is why I was not sure if others would correct me, again. But, I agree completely Juls. Which is why I applaud her win as tremendous. That she also won AFP, something no one has achieved as the season#1 winner and fan favorite, is the icing on top!

In the BB world as a whole....it is definitely known that while wonderful...Tamar's win didn't count as a "Big Brother" win...none of the stats for CBB do.

Joseph not being in the top three for AFH is a travesty. And Kyle was?

Spoiler Girl said yesterday that Joseph was in the top 4, but that Kyle had more votes. Kyle has a huge, following on Instagram. They completely supported and backed him. But, Joseph and Michael are my favorites.

Just finished the episode. I have to say ...I'm pleased. I know I have given Taylor a lot of crap the last couple of weeks but she ended up even selling me at the end. Monte did not answer those questions well. He ended up just looking more and more stupid every time he said his best move was evicting Turner. He mentioned "who do you want to represent this season?" a couple of times and I just kept thinking...well, Taylor. They are all going to say Taylor. They could either make history tonight or ....not. Had Monte picked Turner and been more composed than Turner in the questions and speeches (and he would have been) then I could have backed him winning. But no...Taylor completely out did him, no question. Someone tweeted tonight "don't ever take the pageant girl who has trained to answer hard questions on the spot and make speeches to Final 2." So true. That zing of hers about....you don't want to be sitting next to her on eviction night ..."sorry, Monte" was "fire" I really disliked the way they didn't have the HGs on the regular stage and away from Julie. It was just so awkward. The last like 5 HGs (including Turner!) walked out to the live audience, yet the final 2 doesn't? Nah. That was lame and the set up was so white and flashy. Jury round table was kind of boring. I was expecting more after reading that article with Dr Will I loved the moment with Michael revealing his career and then Joseph also standing up And also Joseph revealing his true love and faithfulness for The Leftovers I think Britt may have teared up Ameerah can F off. I would have preferred hearing from Nicole. In the end, I'm proud of Taylor and I'm happy for the history that was made tonight. With Peace and Love.

Taylor: vote for me because people were mean to me and I was constantly nominated but carried to the end. Whatever. I did not like that either. Oh well , I wanted either Turner or Michael to win , but got stuck with these two. Just another disappointing BB winner for me. I was disappointed Turner wasn't taken to the end by Monte. He put way more effort into the game than Taylor did, IMO. I know the person who wins way more comps (Turner) is evicted because theyre more of a threat, but Taylor hardly won anything. Still, Turner I felt tried heart and soul to go to the end F2.

I watched and then read this thread.
I felt Michael came across as bitter to Turner and was doing everything in his power to turn the jury against Turner. I felt some of his comments were really as if Turner was a just a complete floater. IT seemed Michael was arguing "against Turner". I am assuming its because he is bitter. Honestly, was a Michael fan and then he just kept dropping further down since the double eviction. I hope not to see him again. Eh.
Turner was my hope to win as well as my AFP. I love his humor and even at eviction and finale he had a great attitude. I hope his rug store gains success over this.
Taylor completely won me over with her speech as well or at least Monte dropped the ball. His talking points were all over the place. At one point he said he always stuck with this alliance after saying his big mood to get Michael out. I felt like he thought he had it whereas Taylor felt she had to win them over and put a lot of effort and stuck with 2 major points (there is more to it than just winning the most comps and historical/woman power). Go Taylor, she deserved to take that home. I am not mad that she one AFP either. Good for her! I am surprised by her "rabid" fandom though - I just don't see that in her.
I am glad Turner left the way he did, so he didn't get a shut out loss, that would have been heartbreaking for me, esp if its because of Michael. I think he was always going to vote for Taylor bc he is bitter against Monte too. I am glad Monte loss by underestimating Taylor. He didn't play as strong a game as he tried to pretend he did. I was surprised that Terrance voted for Taylor but not anyone else.
OVERALL, I did enjoy this season and happy with the outcome. Like I said, I don't love Taylor like her fans, but I do think she saved the ending *for me*.

Taylor looks like a Solid Gold dancer. (young folks won't get that reference ) I proudly own being old enough to get it I am only going to say this here because I don't feel the urge to get ripped apart by rabid Taylor fans, I don't think the winner should be able to win the AFH prize as well. I like how Survivor did it and if the winner got the votes, it went to second place.

AFP money should go to anyone but the Final 2. They both received their prize.

Now that she made history, maybe, they will change it (AFP/F1)? Awww, I doubt it though. I just saw this and it made me laugh. Monte made history, or he is history.

I haven't been able to watch yet... I'm glad Taylor won over Monte. He's the one who blabbed what she told him about the girls'alliance and started Paloma down her path which got the whole house against Taylor. But Taylor wouldn't have been my top choice to win this year. However, my favorite rarely wins BB. I don't dislike her winning. I'm kinda glad for once it wasn't just a vote for who won the most comps which according to Taran on RHAP is highly favored the last several seasons for men to win. I think he said this year 80% of the comps were won by men.
