Only watched the beginning of Taran/Taylor interview, just wanted to warn you that the interview is 6 hours and 21 minutes long.  I know. I want to watch it ....but whoa...WAY too long! He should have split it up into 3 parts. |

He isn't on Twitter anymore. I tracked him down on instagram a few weeks ago. He said he didn't like this season. I told him he missed out and that I'm surprised he didn't want to photograph people like Taylor, Joseph and Michael. He said he was only shooting pre-jury people  What happened to HIM!?! I saw that he posted some pics of Nicole already.  I can see bailing on Twitter, the fanbase there is nuts. I wonder what soured him on this season, though? I don't know...but if all his favorites were pre-jury....then he was probably over it when they left  |

Well, I decided to parse Taran's interview with Taylor into parts. It's very casual and (Todrick's?) hairless cat is so freaking adorable!!!  I spent time half listening to the first hour, while mostly just watching this little baby curled up in Taran's lap as he sweetly stroked it. I laughed when Taylor admits she doesn't know how one is able to keep up with the strategizing, and says to Taran: "Are you in mensa? How do you keep up with all of it? "  Taran takes her through the season, step by step. (She will not need to watch anything more of the season), he is telling her step by step key points we watched on the feeds, as well as what was shown on the show episodes. He explains how the exaggerations started that led to false accusations being spread. Build up of anti-Taylor. Taylor speaks very softly as she discusses some of the difficult moments "feeling the vibes in the house". Taran, gently bringing up situations. Me: I am amazed at Taran's memory recall!!! He will traverse the most significant moments with in depth analysis. It's almost as if he is viewing each episode in his mind and narrating it for her. |

Taran/Taylor interview: The Leftover formation is discussed at about 1 hour, 45 minutes in. Muffingate is around 2 hours: 45 mins in, or, maybe that was when two hairless cats demanded Taran's lap. I will stop at three hours in for now. Many light moments, Taylor takes everything very evenly, even those difficult moments. She is a remarkable BB Winner. Her ability to be flexible, resilient, strong, not take things personally; or when she does, she shakes it off and does not let it define her. |

Resuming the Taylor/Taran interview today I clock in where I left off yesterday, 3.17.00 and it is the morning of Daniel's eviction. with hilarious sound bites being played for Taylor, who thoroughly enjoys it. Fun stuff of wall sound bites around 3:18.00 I think, with Taran beginning his critique of Taylor's wall comp win HOH. Messiness and chaos is delicately presented. Culminating with discussion of the infamous pool table argument of Kyle vs Leftover's over Alyssa and veto at about 3:43.00 (I think). I get sucked in to video and forget to check locations sometimes. Indy's eviction as first jury member, and split of Leftover's because of house split over Big Brochella/Dyre Fest occurs at 3:50:00. Discussion of Kyle blowing up DyreFest is closer to 4:06:00. Tells Alyssa, then Terrance. Followed by wall yelling, and loss of Feeds for days. Taylor was surprised about the latter. |

Continuing, discussion leads to Turner winning HoH post Dyerfest and Monte rats out Brochella @4:16:20. Turner thinking LO are back in business until Kyle goes upstairs and flips Turner @ 4:18:45. America waits to see what will happen. By, 4:28:00 Michael/Britt expose Kyle. Taylor learns that America disrupts. #StopProtectingKyle. She is shocked to discover our Feeds are cut, and even later when we see the show, the edit does NOT reveal so much of what happened. America never hears Kyle admit in the HOUSE meeting, that his remarks were racist. (So all of his fans have no idea that he admitted to it).
Taylor gives her personal account of what happened during the feeds cut about 4:30:00. About Brit and Michael ask Monte and Taylor what they should do next? Monte does not want to bring race into the game. Monte is frustrated with timing. Taylor is frustrated only now, when post season she learns that Michael had conversations with the camera, before sharing with Taylor and Monte. M/B revealed the timeline of how things occurred, and when they finally realized it was time to reveal. Taylor accepted it. She tells us she asked Britt what made her certain about Kyle, Britt said DyerFest, when Joseph was evicted. She tells Taran that the time blocked on the feeds was less about content and more about reactions. Taran tells her we did not see the House Meeting on the feeds or show. Taylor was disappointed that none of it made it on the show. Nor did Kyle's admission about his remarks being racist.

Interesting to me, Taran asks: Michael would have won veto if his belt would not have broken?? Taylor: NO, he wouldn't have. 5:16:15 Also, Taran discussing HorrorFest, and how it triggered something in Taylor's past and she withdrew from the comp, 5:22:15 says the last person who withdrew from the Horror theme comp, also won BB. (Who was that? Was that Morgan in Haunting of Clementine O'Grady? BBOTT?) I have a vague memory of her being freaked out. When people discuss Britney flipping out toward the end, part of it is stress, part last ditch attempt to stay. But, no one, including Taran, mentions that Britt while in Bathroom heard Taylor in Kitchen mocking Michael's last ditch attempt to stay. Taylor, Monte, Turner, not sure if Alyssa was there in Kitchen, but they were loud and laughing about Michael desperately trying to convince them. Britt was shocked to hear Taylor mocking Michael, and began weeping. I think that contributed to her flipping out. I'll have to finish last hour of interview another time. Also, those hairless cats are quite taken with Taran. They just can't stay away from him. |

Thank you susanr342!  I have to say that for me, the most enjoyable, inciteful part was the last hour and a half.
Taran confides to Taylor that he has this Final Five on his list of all time worse next to Marcellas. They discuss Britt almost winning the veto that Monte won. How she was stuck on that one date. He recounts a game he played where you learn at the end that a key player strategically planted false information early on, to deliberately sabotage other players. He suggests that Britt was hung up on that one date, perhaps because Michael taught her that (on purpose, to sabotage her just in case they were both still competing). Later, we learn from Britt that Michael did in fact teach her that date. Taran says we will have to wait and interview Michael to know if that was a deliberate move on his part or not. Taylor laughs and enjoy the conspiracy. They discuss the Headphones incident. (I admit, I must have been so pro Monte at the time, that much of how he acted went over my head.) Glad that all of the issues were clarified. Taran says he enjoyed watching Taylor practice her speech. He said watching her, he knew that she would make him cry, but, he never heard the part about resilience while practicing. Taran said he was a kid (10) when Danielle lost and how disappointed he was. Now, 20 years later he feels satisfied watching the game evolve to where it has. Taylor said it felt to her as if her words, was all that she had. That she needed to use her words, so that the jury would understand what different kinds of power looked like. And then Taylor said it was surprising that her journey began and ended with Monte degrading her but disguising how much he was doing under the veil of being pro women. But, that his actions, (and he is a big actions person), shows that he will choose women to be a prop for his own success. And it backfired. Taran said it's powerful, Queens coming to get what is deserved. They both laugh. Then she told Taran that he is a beautiful crier. (So, now for me to see Taylor process this and win against the person who had belittled her, degraded her (both to her face, and through out the house) is a piece de resistance.)
Taran says in week 1, Michael goes on the block and he is sitting in the HN room and says: "What would Janelle do?"
Now he hopes with Taylor as an inspiration, someone might go on the block week 1, and say: "What would Taylor do?"
Taran says "You are now a shining example of an individual who can turn perspective around of how the game is played (win based on comps), and create a new reality."
(They recorded from 3pm to 11pm). |

I watched the very long interview over 3 days. It was good. I am glad Taylor won over Monte (but I see would have loved to see Micheal win).

They were over a long time ago. That's fair your entitled to your opinion that said I know and have evidence otherwise. It was a mix of the the Harassment and her deciding that Miami was not going to be her home for now. Break-up happened within this week. |
